(Roanoke, WV) - A match featuring four World Wrestling Entertainment "divas" did not resolve anything, one fan that caught their match at a WWE live event claims.

"Bottom line is, I came here to see Mickie James and Maria end their long-standing rivalry with Melina and Jillian Hall," spat Ted McChusterleigh, who attended the 'WrestleMania Revenge Tour' event tonight.

McChusterleigh, who travelled 90 miles east from nearby Bluefield to attend the house show, claims he was led to believe this would be the final chapter in the grudge between the two teams.

"On the radio the other day, they even had this commercial that said 'Will Mickie and Maria settle the score with Melina and Jillian?'," complained McChusterleigh. "To me, that implies that shit's going to get straightened out!"

Despite following professional wrestling for the better part of 30 years, McChusterleigh truly believed that he'd brought his wife and three children to watch what would be the final time that Mickie James and Maria faced off against Melina and Jillian Hall.

The fact that the event wasn't at all televised should have served as a clue to McChusterleigh, who also participated in a 1987 mail-in petition to ban Kamala's top-rope splash. And the fact that the four women came to the ring to the same generic "Divas" entrance music should have also been a tip-off.

"I've followed the highs and the lows of this feud," McChusterleigh recalled. "I remember when Candice Michelle got dragged into this for a bit, and even (WWE Women's Champion) Beth Phoenix. Hell, I even remember them throwing ECW's Kelly Kelly and SmackDown's Michelle McCool into the mix. That didn't even make sense!"

The finish also threw McChusterleigh and his family for a loop. Instead of focusing their efforts on each other, the four women instead attacked Raw General Manager William Regal, who ran to ringside to stop the contest.

Following the multiperson beat-down, the generic "Divas" music played again, this time with all four women raising each other's arms in the air.

"What the hell is THAT?" yelled McChusterleigh from his 300-level seats. "They're not even gonna announce a winner?!?"

McChusterleigh admitted he hasn't been this disappointed since a televised 2006 match between John Cena and Carlito that began with four minutes left on Monday Night Raw, didn't produce a logical conclusion.
