World Wrestling Insanity Breaking News: TNA To Debut 'Revolutionary' WWE Logo-Shaped Ring

Another TNA original.

(Orlando, FL) - Because people were finally starting to get used to it, Total Nonstop Action wrestling is ditching its traditional four-sided ring for one that looks suspiciously like the logo of rival promotion World Wrestling Entertainment.

The new ring will feature eight cornerposts littered throughout the platform, twenty-four turnbuckles and three sections, two of which are small and incredibly-cramped, cordoned off over on the structure's north side.

"Our ring has eight sides, but only one angle," the company is scheduled to advertise. "No, wait - several angles."

Despite the ring's uncanny resemblance to the popular "W" logo that WWE has used for nearly a decade, TNA claims the resemblance is completely coincidental.

"Have we code-named it the 'WWE Ring'? Yes," answered TNA announcer and occasional gofer Jeremy Borash. "But our WWE stands for something completely different.

When pressed for what else 'WWE' could possibly stand for, Borash stammered out "It's for.... um, We.... Want... ECW."

TNA President Dixie Carter said she's tired of hearing that the company is promoting - inadvertently or otherwise - WWE copyrights, trademarks and footage.

"It's ridiculous" Carter told World Wrestling Insanity Breaking News one night after we finished making out. "Oh, and speaking of WWE, did you realize that good tickets are still on sale for their live event next month in Queens?"
