Crocker! Zombie Hall's Last Call, Flair Names The Girls, Bryan Daniel-san, Austin Green With Envy, and More
This week zombie Junkyard Dog returned to RAW as its general manager, and zombie Hall and Nash did whatever it is that they do on TNA. Really, that's all the news worth reporting this week. But since tradition dictates I write a full length article, the rest will be filler. For example, did you know that Brian Austin Green--yeah they guy from Beverly Hills 90210--is engaged to Megan Fox? This is an outrage. He's the same age as me, and he's engaged to Megan Fox.
Yes, this douche!
TNA can't catch a break. Tonight they have to go up against game seven of the NBA finals. Not only has there not been a game seven in awhile, but it's the freakin' Celtics and Lakers. It's going to do huge ratings and that can't be good for TNA. They're definitely going to need more zombie Hall and Nash to keep those rating up to a respectable 1.0. Too bad zombie Hall has been released and replaced with zombie Dreamer.
Honestly, I think TNA has been better than RAW for about a month now. They've been putting on some pretty good shows. RVD/Sting at the last PPV was about what I expected, but at least now they can possibly put RVD into a real feud. I'm not even upset about them giving Sting this main event. Even if we knew the match wasn't going to be a classic at this point in Sting's career, this is how he should be used. He put over RVD and the build up was pretty good. Now, however, is the time to put RVD into a feud with someone who can wrestle.
Kurt Angle working his way back up to the top has been good TV. Seriously, if you're not watching TNA you should be. They're sort of clicking right now. Plus, if you tune in tonight you'll get to hear Flair's "major announcement." He's finally named his man-boobies. I swear, those things look like a couple of deflated beach balls. One good thing about TNA though, they never fail to have a "major announcement." This has been true since the very first TNA Wednesday night PVP seven years ago.
John Cena says he thinks that Danielson (image below) was released from WWE for breaking the PG 13 rating. I'm not sure who this John Cena is, but he may be on to something. Otherwise, why get rid of Danielson when we know he can make money? He's a proven commodity.
He's grossed millions of dollars.
In all honesty, this Bryan Danielson thing is either a swerve or WWE is a bunch of pansies. It could go either way. Cena said that WWE has to do what its sponsors want, etc. As a fan of Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, and even good old Neil Young, this doesn't sit right with me. I know wrestling is a business, but part of me has also always looked at it like an art. Back in my day, when I was a kid, people were busted up all the time and it was considered family entertainment. This is America, damn it!
Watch this:
That's really one of the most awesome things I've ever seen on a wrestling program.
So, I went back to work as a short order cook last night. The same job I had before I went back to school. My back is killing me. I'm not in restaurant shape, friends. Your uncle Cracker is pretty fat and smokes about seven packs of cigarettes a day--while on the patch and Chantix.
Well, that's it for me. Catch me next week for a "major announcement."
