A Very Crocker Thanksgiving...The Dinner Angles, Icecold Beer Parsons, Ralphie Shooting His Eye Out, and Thanksgiving Songs
I'm keeping this short and sweet today and very little to do with wrestling. It's Thanksgiving, after all, and Kurt Angle just showed up. He's crying and it's making Karen nervous. Truth be told, I think I'm going to have to dump that girl. Send her back to Jeff. Here are some of the things I'm happy for. To be back home in Missouri with my family, if only for a few days. I'm thankful I don't cry like some former Olympians I know. I'm thankful for turkey. Seriously, have you seen A Christmas Story? Of course you have. I'm just like the old man in that when it comes to turkey. I wait for it all year. Damn those Bumpeses' dogs! I'm thankful for Sweet Chin Music. I'm thankful that Lady Gaga is usually mostly naked. I'm glad Linda McMahon is running for Senate...or Congress, or the school board—whichever one she is doing. I feel safer as an American. I'm thankful that Iceman King Parsons still comes over for a beer now and again.
I'm thankful for these Thanksgiving songs:
Again, I'm sorry this is so short this week, but we all start early around here. I imagine you all are going to be busy getting ready for your families, eating, watching football, etc. Unless you're from one of those countries like Canada that doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving. In that case, go eat some turkey. It's good. And really, isn't Turkey the point of it all. Damn, Super Porky just arrived and it's about time to put him in the oven and start marinading him. One more thing. I'm also Thankful for World Wrestling Insanity. The chance to make some cheap jokes at other people's expense every week and talk a little bit about professional wrestling—something that has made me happy for most of my life. I'm also thankful for you, readers, even if you ungrateful sumbitches don't post enough in my section on the World Wrestling Insanity Forums. I'll be back next week with a more typical column, until then, stay safe friends. blog comments powered by Disqus
