It's a good week for sports if you're an NBA fan like I am. Personally, I'm looking forward to the Thunder laying the smack down on the Heat again tonight, which means TNA will probably have to go in my DVR. What surprises me the most is that we have DVR out here in the hills. We may not have indoor plumbing, but we got all the TV you can shake a stick at. With the ratings the NBA has been getting, I do except TNA to suffer a bit, live or not. Maybe not. They do have Brooke Hogan after all.
Speaking of the NBA, it's my birthday today. One more year until the big 40. What does this have to do with the NBA?
Well, every year I get a hat and a basketball. Which is good. I need both a hat and a basketball--though my knees might disagree. Yeah, it's close to Father's day so the hat and basketball count for both. So it goes.
Speaking of Father's day,
ABC just called Hogan one of the worst fathers in the word.
One reason is because he re-tweeted some comment a dude sent him that said something along the lines of going balls deep in Brooke. Now, most likely Hogan just didn't read it or he didn't know what it meant. He was probably thinking it had something to do with basketball, but really, the Hulkster does make it hard to like him sometimes.
My suggestion is that he change his old mantra to, "Eat right, take your vitamins, pray, get some sleep, don't forget your pain meds, and continue to get into creepy ass situations with your daughter."
Speaking of creepy, Creepy Old Vince returned to RAW this week. Is it just me or has his head shrunk. Seriously, it looked like this dude:
Creepy little head aside, I thought his return was just all right. I mean he threatened to fire Laurinaitis, he walked to the ring like he had a broken egg in his pants, and he got knocked out by Big Show. Now, there's going to be a bit of a scuffle or some such to see if John gets to keep his job. I did sort of like Big Show's tirade about his contract. In fact, Show is better than he has been in awhile, though I still just can't bring myself to get too excited about seeing one of his matches.
Speaking of matches it's hard to get excited about, Mark Henry may not be returning to WWE. I'll be honest with you, I didn't notice he was gone. That has nothing to do with Mark Henry. I'm just not very observant. It took nearly two months to realize my wife had left me. When she finally came back, she walked in like she had a half a dozen broken eggs in her pants.
Speaking of pants, fat pants in particular, Vader came back to RAW as well. It was a nice three minutes (that's what she said). It gave me the gumption to finally go out and build my own horseshoe pit. I have never successfully built anything in my life, so I'll keep you updated, but really, if Vader can come back to RAW for what I assume is a one time match, I should be able to build a horseshoe pit.
Good stuff. I'll talk at you all next week. If you have any suggestions and building a horseshoe pit, post them below. If you don't know what a horseshoe pit is, go back to drinking your fancy coffee drinks and PBR's you bloody hipster.
