Random Thoughts, Opinions, Questions and Observations.

Greetings from under the New Blue Yankee cap.

Randy Orton getting the big push now huh? I don’t doubt that he is going to be the one to finally dethrone John Cena. It will be interesting to see how long before he gets dethroned by Triple H though.

Way to debut Cody Rhodes huh? Two quick losses to Randy Orton and presto, you have a huge star on your hands.

That was sarcasm by the way.

Randy Orton, “Legend Destroyer?” WWE is sure shying away from calling him a "Legend Killer." I wonder why?

Drew Carey is replacing Bob Barker on the Price is Right. I don’t know how I feel about that. I certainly don’t hate Drew Carey but his comedy is hit and miss for me sometimes. I didn’t really watch his show religiously but sometimes I did and sometimes it was funny. I did dig “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” though. Hopefully he will be successful and this is a good gig for him as Barker did it forever and Drew is only in his 40’s so he can make some bank for this show.

Jeff Hardy almost killed himself on RAW. Seriously, he should be dead. That was a scary sight to see and I have no idea what WWE would have done had he broken his neck. I am glad to see he walked away from that unscathed.

Coach needs to go as GM. He really does. He is an effective “second in command” type guy playing someone’s lackey. Not sure who can be GM but it definitely shouldn’t be Coach.

Anyone else notice that some of the roster has different “physiques” since the Benoit tragedy? Interesting huh? I wonder why that is.

I don’t care what anyone says but Lindsey Lohan is FN HOT!!!!

Apparently the WWE and Jackass crew couldn’t come to an agreement on terms and the Cast of Jackass will no longer be participating at Summerslam. WWE mainly wanted Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera on the show as they are the two biggest stars of Jackass however Bam is injured from a skateboarding accident and after the Benoit incident, Knoxville decided to separate himself from WWE and not go ahead as planned. Once he scrapped it, that killed the deal and Jackass at Summerslam is off.

As I type this, I get some breaking news that Lindsey Lohan, the hot and sexy Lindsey Lohan has just been arrested again for driving under the influence. Her blood alcohol content was .14 (well over the .08 legal limit) and she was also found to have cocaine in her pocket. Seriously? Didn’t I just write last week that it isn’t hard to hire a driver? Especially when you are a millionaire? WTF? This is just ridiculous. Now more than likely, she is going to do time in the slammer. Dumb b*tch.

Melina looked hot on Monday. So did Candice Michelle. WWE Divas have been doing a good job of looking like ladies lately. I admire that.

My son made a Derek Zoolander “Le Tigre” face the other day. So funny.

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch have improved by leaps and bounds and are a damn good tag team. I wish WWE would continue to push tag teams.

Speaking of tag teams, As much as I LOVE LAX, doesn’t a Homicide and Senshi team facing off against The Motor City Machine Guns sound a lot better than Homicide and Hernandez vs. the MCMG’s? If the Briscoe Brothers were available, imagine a three way dance between them? I would order TNA every month if that were the case.

Hey people, visit my section on the message board and discuss your thoughts on the ROH PPV. Let me know what you first time ROH viewers thought. I am curious to see reactions fromt hose of you who have never seen the product.

Just caught up on the ESPN Original Series, “The Bronx is Burning” and I must say, I like it a lot. It is the story of the 1977 New York Yankees and how the Bronx handled that (with the turmoil between Reggie Jackson and Billy Martin) as well as the Son of Sam murders and the Bronx blackout that caused riots. Good show so far.

Where is Marc Mero? He seems to have disappeared from all of the cable news casts without a peep. Coincidently, once the toxicology report on the Benoit family came in as well as the new Michael Vick dog fighting scandal, I don’t see many wrestlers on TV outside of regular wrestling programming at all. Interesting, no?

I refuse to discuss Michael Vick any further as I am disgusted by dog fighting. I own a dog and love him as if he was my flesh and blood. Seeing pictures on the news of these dogs disgusts me.

Ted DiBiase Jr. has just been signed to a WWE developmental deal. Congrats Ted. WWE is really stacking up on the second and third generation stars. In several years, we are going to have some damn good, ready to go wrestlers on the roster.

Speaking of 2nd and 3rd generation stars, Hart Foundation V-3 debuted in OVW wrestling and apparently Nattie, Teddy and Harry all had matching outfits. While I think that is great, Harry should really distinguish himself as a British Bulldog and wear Davey Boy Smith-like tights. Teddy, Nattie and TJ Wilson should wear traditional pink and black tights.

And they need to sign Jack Evans. Sure he didn’t train in the dungeon but still, he would make a great addition to the team and he is tight with Teddy.

Beyonce got mad skills yo. Don’t believe me? Check out her "Ring the Alarm" performance.

Jason Bourne comes home in the Bourne Ultimatum on August 3rd. Not for nothing, I think he is my favorite spy. The first two movies were surprisingly entertaining.

The “Rated R Superstar” Edge is out with a pectoral injury that is worse than originally thought. He may not be back until 2008 which sucks mightily for him and for Smackdown in general. I wonder if he will get cool vignettes when he returns.

Kurt Angle looks a lot healthier, I must admit. I didn’t enjoy the skit when he was destroying people while in his underwear but physically, he looks like he is rested and in good shape again rather than the way he looked during his WWECW run when he looked run down, tired and physically ill. I hope he is healthy and happy.

The New York Yankees continue to chip, chip, and chip away at both the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians. Alex Rodriquez is chasing history as he is one home run away from 500 career at the time this article is typed and possibly may have 500 by the time you read this column. Once he hits it, he will be the youngest player in history to reach that milestone at age 32. He is also on record pace to smash whatever home run record, “The Juicer” Barry Bonds is chasing as he is very capable of smashing both Hank Aaron and Barry Bonds all time record should he stay healthy.

Across the Whitestone Bridge in the Bronx, Tom Glavine of the New York Mets is chasing victory number 300 for his career. While I don’t like the Mets (I can’t because I am a Yankee fan), it is still history and I tip my hat to him. Due to the shorter shelf life of starting pitchers and due to the increase of use in relief pitchers, Glavine may actually be the final major leaguer to reach 300 wins so he will forever be enshrined in baseball history. His next chance to 300 is on Tuesday July 31st.

WWE needs to bring back Vladimir Koslov. He is the “I LOVE DOUBLE DOUBLE E” guy. Just keep him around for promos if he sucks.

Am I the only one excited to see the Dalton’s debut? If “Jesse Dalton” is half the athlete his dad was, he is going to be something to watch. He is 27 years old though, his dad started at 16.

Whatever happened to Ken Doane? He had so much promise. I actually thought he had the potential to beat Randy Orton’s record of becoming the youngest WWE champion ever. Silly me, you need a push in order for that to happen.

Candice Michelle is working hard to improve in the ring and it shows. She gets mad props from me for studying hard and trying to improve. She is only 28 which is a double edged sword if you ask me. On one hand, that is good that she is so young because she has the chance to have a long career. On the other hand, she looks A LOT OLDER than 28 which means she isn’t aging as well as she should. Not that I would kick her out of bed because she is FN hot.

R.I.P. John Kronus. Just finished reading his OBIT by Meltzer and never knew he was really mentally handicapped. He also didn’t know how to wrestle. Saturn lied to promoters to get them booked on shows and he would then train Kronus before the shows.

James Guttman does it again. This weeks RFI is with Dory Funk Jr. A true legend and class act in this business and definitely should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame along with his brother Terry Funk. You go JG!!!

Britney Spears is one crazy S.O.B. That’s all I got to say about that ya’ll.

Ok kiddies, classes are over for now. See you all next week.

Feel free to discuss whatever you’d like in the Anger Management section of the message board or whichever section you see fit.
