Random Thoughts, Opinions, Questions and Observations.

Greetings from under the New Blue Yankee cap.

We are back folks with another edition of my random thoughts. Lots of stuff going on in wrestling so let’s get right to it.

Snitsky is undefeated. Vince McMahon actually said that on RAW. A friend of mine asked me about WWE dumbing down their audience with comments like that. My thoughts, maybe that is his nickname. You know, like “The Big Red Machine” Kane? Maybe he is “he Undefeated” Snitsky. That is the only explanation I can give for that nonsense. By the way, did you hear the “dramatic silence” from the crowd when Vince announced that Cena would fight him in the main event?

Candice Michelle seems to be busting her hot ass in order to improve in the ring. She looked damn good against Melina on RAW and that roll up was something to see.

Did anyone listen closely to the pop “Stone Cold” Steve Austin received on Saturday Night’s Main Event? I bet Vince is praying everyday that someone on the roster can get a pop close to that. It was something like I haven’t heard since the last time Austin returned. The only pop that will ever rival that one is if Rock came back to WWE.

Speaking of Austin, I was watching Summerslam 1997 on WWE 24/7 and the Austin/Owen Hart match was on it’s way to being something real special until the untimely pile driver that broke Austin’s neck. Not for nothing, but Owen should have smartened up. I know he was frightened but he should have gotten himself disqualified so that Austin won and didn’t have to kiss his ass as the stipulation stated. Austin ended up getting stripped of the IC title a few weeks later and Owen won it back so everything would have been the same rather than that lame ass finish to that match.

Michael Vick is going to jail. I am ecstatic about this and I used to be a Vick fan. Always traded for him in Madden for PS2. He was the starting QB for every franchise I had a season with. From the Giants to the Jets to the Falcons to the Raiders; Michael Vick was my guy. But not anymore. I am a dog lover and I find it not only inhumane for the way he murdered dogs because they lost fights, but I can’t figure out how a man who received a $41 million dollar signing bonus as well as $60 million last season of salary and endorsements can bet on dog fighting. The most the bets were for were $10 grand. It isn’t like he was betting for the need of money. He was betting to bet. Makes no sense to me. As I stated in a past column, how hard is it to be rich? I wish I had their money so I could be smart about it and not surround myself with f*cking idiots who don’t have my best interests in mind. So basically he is getting what he deserves for being such an assh*le. Now, his football career is most likely over since he was gambling and that is forbidden by the rules of the NFL. If he is lucky and the gambling charges don’t stick, he won’t be returning until the 2010 season at the earliest.

I was going to start discussing TNA and the Alan Wojcik situation as well however I can’t bring myself to discussing them anymore. TNA makes me sick. Not because of the Wojcik situation because that is dumb, but because TNA are idiots and make simple mistakes. Karen Angle under TNA contract? Please.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling returns on Saturday September 8th to Rahway New Jersey with a HUGE main event of L.A.X. (Homicide and Hernandez) taking on Samoa Joe and Low-Ki for the JAPW tag team titles.

Celebrity Apprentice this fall on NBC. So far Donald Trump has signed: Joan Rivers, Carmen Electra, Jim Cramer of CNBC, Naomi Judd, George Foreman, Pete Rose, Tony Hawk, Danica Patrick, and Jeff Gordon. He has reached out the representatives of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan however has not heard back from them yet.

Hayden Panettiere is officially 18 years old. REJOICE!!!!

Lot ’s have been made lately on the Insanity Message Boards about the Santino Marella Bandwagon. My personal stance on it is that I wanted to hold off until I see his in ring work as a heel before deciding whether or not to jump on. However after RAW this week, I decided to say “the heck with it”. Count me in. I am on the bandwagon. Sure I am not the first one on but I don’t mind since I am the official leader of the MVP bandwagon.

Hogan Knows Best has been utter crap this season. I am disappointed.

Just saw Mark Wahlberg’s “Shooter” on DVD over the weekend. Not a bad movie. Not a great movie either but worth your time to catch once it reaches Cable.

It appears that CM Punk is on the verge of winning the ECW title. If he does, it is a damn shame. Not for Punk, but for Samoa Joe who has “Superstar®©™” written all over him and had a huge head start on becoming a national name by signing with TNA and instead is ruined by politics and crappy booking. But good for Punk. Even if he doesn’t win the title at Summerslam, he is winning it soon. Much sooner than Joe will be winning a world title in TNA.

Brock Lesnar is negotiating with TNA about working for them. Kurt Angle is the one who brokered talks between Brock and Dixie Carter. Now this is either good news or bad news depending on why he is being signed. Brock is only 30 years old. He has a good 10 years of wrestling left in his system and hasn’t hit his prime yet. He has a good learning ability for the wrestling business and when focused, is the best in the world. If they sign him and are serious about featuring him, he can definitely make waves. Problem is, that is most likely not the reason he is being brought in. He instead is going to be brought in so he can become fodder for Kurt Angle and be ruined by sh*tty booking. TNA has a knack for booking crap with good talents and not making much sense out of anything since EVERYONE is protected from doings jobs. Everything is overbooked and rushed so that it has no impact on anything. Even if they get two hours, which I hear will be announced any day now, it will still seem rushed.

Beyonce flashed the crowd in Toronto her bare breasts while performing “déjà vu” in concert on Tuesday. There is video of it up on You Tube . It is poor quality but definitely her tata’s that were flashed. For those disappointed by the lack of quality, here is a picture of her giving Jay-Z a BJ. ENJOY!!!

Congratulations to Matt Sydal for signing a WWE contract.

Dave Meltzer is having a recall vote for next years Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame for Chris Benoit. Chris was inducted to the Observer Hall back in 2003. What do you all think about this? If 60% of voters vote to recall him, he is out; most likely never to be voted back in again. Discuss HERE.

Ron Simmons is over exposed. Plain and simple. Damn.

Where’s Marcus Cor Von? Anyone?

Kudos to James Guttman who someone amazes me with his ability to get interviews with people who are currently making news in the wrestling world such as Ricky Morton last week and his interview this week. Great job James. That’s why you the man. Too bad your site won’t last past a year. Oh yeah, it has!!!! Remember when some douche said that? Amazing.

Foxy Brown is three months pregnant; she is getting married in November and today, SHE IS GOING TO JAIL!!! A New York judge sentenced her to Rikers Island until her next court date on September 7, 2007 for violating her probation. HA! Stupid b*tch. See my Michael Vick rant above or my previous Lindsey Lohan rant a few columns back for what my thoughts on schmucks who are rich and can’t stay out of trouble.

Britney Spears continues her loco ways. The latest is that Justin Timberlake reached out to her and had written her a new song which was scheduled to be a duet with him. He even had good friend and superstar producer Timbaland clear his calendar for a week so they can record it. Knowing that they haven’t seen each other in a few years and it may be awkward, Britney was supposed to fly to Timbaland’s studio in Virginia and record the track and Justin would have recorded his half later. A few days before recording was scheduled, Britney cancelled and didn’t want to do it. The song would have been her first single off her new album. Um….excuse me, does she not know that JT and Timbaland songs are magic and this could have helped revive her career? What a moron?!?!?! Did she shave off part of her brain when she shaved her head? This girl is bi-polar and needs to be treated. There is no rationale behind her decision making. She needs a therapist and needs to get her life in order. Seriously.

Remember when people were saying that Chris Masters and Kenny Dykstra had potential to be big stars in the WWE. Ah, the good old days.

Total Nonstop Angle. Kind of fitting title for a promotion that is focused solely on Kurt Angle and his storylines. Angle of 2007 = Jeff Jarrett of 2005. If I didn’t know any better, I would think that Angle bought part of the company and is co-owner with Dixie Carter.

Cody Rhodes is getting a reaction from the fans. That is a good thing. His work isn’t that bad and he has that twinkle in his eye that his dad had. I hear he oozes charisma. I’ve seen bits and pieces of charisma in his WWE promos so if he has half of Dusty’s charisma, he is going to be huge.

A-Rod has 42 home runs.

Kristen Bell a.k.a. Veronica Mars has joined the cast of Heroes for this upcoming season.

Janeane Garafolo has joined the case of 24 for this upcoming season.

Just saw the Devil Wears Prada on cable. Not a bad movie. Anne Hathaway is weird to me. I do not find her attractive at all yet find her hot. Does that make sense?

Speaking of hot girls, the WWE Diva Search is starting soon. Hotter woman on the TV. Too bad they all get hired anyway. At least the last batch of Diva’s work for their spots and are trying hard such as Michelle McCool, Candice Michelle and even Ashley.

Speaking of Ashley, she is officially on Survivor 15: Survivor China. CBS announced it and I look forward to seeing her on the show although I don’t think she will last long. Not because I don’t think she is capable but more so because I think her peers are going to want to vote her off due to who she is.

You have to be either above the age of 35 years old or have been wrestling for 15 years. Hence why Kurt Angle was elected before the Rock was nominated. Angle was 35 when nominated. Rock just turned 35 this year.

Criteria for Induction
Votes needed for induction into the Hall of Fame:
US and Canada - 105
Japan - 82
Mexico - 58 or 60% of the votes.

Ok kiddies, classes are over for now. See you all next week.
