Greetings from under the New Blue Black Yankee cap I received for my birthday.

Busy week went by as on September 11, I celebrated my 29^th birthday. Thankfully, the borough of Bronx County thought it would be nice to have me celebrate my birthday in a courtroom as I was summoned for jury duty. I ended up not sitting in on a case as I was called however during lunch, the opposing attorney’s settled and I was dismissed.

So Hornswaggle is Mr. McMahon’s son. Hornswaggle. Really? HornF’Nswaggle? I don’t know what else to say.

CM Punk is the ECW champion and had his best WWE match to date defeating the now on 30 day vacation John Morrison. Both men stepped their games up and delivered. Unfortunately for Punk, he is more than likely going to lose the title back to Morrison when he returns from “vacation”

TNA finally has their 2 hour show. It begins on October 4^th. You all know what that means? I hear that the main event of that show will be Kurt Angle defending the TNA title against……KURT ANGLE!!! Should be a good one. I say Angle retains due to interference by Kurt Angle setting up a Kurt Angle vs. Kurt Angle feud. Also on the 2 hour premiere will be the debut of the biggest signing in TNA wrestling history. The signing that will turn the tides of momentum in TNA’s favor and ignite the new wrestling war, Scotty “Two Hotty” Taylor. Also debuting are Shawn Stasiak, A-Train, Nathan Jones, El Dandy, Lita, Greg the Hammer Valentine, El Gigante, Tiger Ali Singh and Lord Littlebrook. Samoa Joe might be on the show too.

Seriously, TNA’s booking is complete and utter bulldog bullsh*t. I cannot fathom why they do the things they do and if Kurt Angle has any sort of creative control, he needs to lose it ASAP. These angles he is involved in make no sense, aren’t entertaining and are actually making me hate TNA. I didn’t think that was possible. I covered TNA for this site once and enjoyed doing so. The shows were exciting and entertaining. Now, I either fast forward through 99% of it or I read something on the spoilers that I like and skip straight to that part to watch. That is now how a wrestling show should be viewed.

Britney Spears = train wreck. I feel bad for her. She isn’t well mentally and I am almost scared for how this is going to end up. I do know it won’t be a happy ending. She has problems/issues that are going to cause her to f*ck up badly.

Did you know you can find hookers using Craigslist? Neither did I.

Go Yankees!!! Have a solid 4 game lead in the wildcard chase on the Tigers and face Boston in a 3 game series this weekend at Fenway. We could, if we sweep, close the Red Sox division lead to 2 games with 16 to play.

#1 overall pick in the NBA draft, Greg Oden underwent micro fracture knee surgery and will miss the ENTIRE upcoming season.

I want to meet Shelly Martinez aka Ariel. She seriously sounds like a cool person to know and hang out with. I just want to have a conversation with her and pick her brain to see how she is. I am just so intrigued by her demeanor and attitude.

Mike Kruel is a friend/acquaintance of mine from the New York independent scene and from what I hear; he is doing AMAZING things in OVW. For those who do not know, Kruel is one of the most technically sound wrestlers in the business. When he was coming up on the Indies, he showed zero charisma but once the bell rang, he delivered. Chris Candido once said that Kruel was his most fun opponent on the Indies. Anyway, he is a heel in OVW and has his own stable called “Team America”. His stable consists of two Russians (including “I Love Double Double E” Vladimir Kosloz), two Iraqi insurgents and himself. PURE GOLD~!~!~!

Sandman was released by World Wrestling Entertainment. Sucks as I enjoyed him and it was good that he was collecting a paycheck. He lasted a lot longer than most thought he would. For the record, he is only taking bookings through former ECW owner and current PWU talent Todd Gordon. If you read he is taking bookings from anywhere else, that is a lie.

Speaking of PWU, now that I have a car, I need to check out some more PWU shows. Johnny Kashmere has found a nice little mixture of talents/angles for his promotion and it has a legendary cult following. This weekend is their 3^rd Anniversary show at the former ECW arena in South Philadelphia Pennsylvania and features: Too Cold Scorpio, Diamond Dallas Page, Joey Matthews (Mercury), Dan Severn, Nikolai Volkoff, Trent Acid, Johnny Kashmere (who will be coming to the show in the original Batmobile from the 60’s TV show), Devon Moore Blood, All Money Is Legal, Eddie Kingston, Annie Social (who is F’N HOT!!!), The SAT’s and more. The new fall television season begins next week as new shows begin to trickle in slowly. Some favorite shows also return such as Heroes but there are some new good ones that are getting solid reviews including the Sarah Conner Chronicles (based on the life of Sarah Conner between Terminator 2 and 3.) as well as the remake of the Bionic Woman. Should be interesting. I plan on DVR’ing a lot of shows so I will keep you up to date on what is good and what is bad. Stay tuned.

Adam “Pacman” Jones is one half of the TNA tag team champions. He won them by pinning Sting. By the way, that was all he contributed to his title win. He did not perform one move or one hold in anyone in the match. Just the pinfall. Funny thing is, the camera MISSED THE PIN!!!! All the hype, all the hope for a mention on Sportscenter or Entertainment Tonight was missed because they camera was focused on Karen Angle. See above for my thoughts on the Kurt Angle/Creative Control issues.

Kanye West vs. 50 Cent. Good for hip hop? I say yes. Kanye’s album is incredible. Damn good stuff. 50’s Album is good. Not great; but good. Kanye’s is great though. I am digging “Stronger” a lot and I also really like “Big Brother” but that is more because I am a huge Jay-Z fan and think it is a nice tribute to him.

Kevin Nash is lobbying to have Scott Hall brought into TNA. TNA is also interested in Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. Should be interesting if they manage to pull it off, the original nWo Wolfpac in the hizzouse. Dave Meltzer stated in his newsletter that Vince Russo will probably end up aligning them with the Voodoo Kin Mafia and call all five of them the New Generation Outlaws or the New Age Order or something similar that takes someone five seconds to think of.

Brian “American Dragon” Danielson is going to be wrestling against Takeshi Morishima this weekend for Ring of Honor. This is happen just a few weeks after Danielson had his retina detached at the hands of a stiff match with Morishima. In my eyes, I think it is way too soon for him to be wrestling again, especially at the style that both men are accustomed to. On the flip side of that coin, I smell title change. Danielson will become the first ever two time ROH Champion. I actually called it several months back stating that he would win when someone asked me in the “Ask Matt Anything” thread. Several people are going with Nigel McGuinness but I still think Danielson will be the one to take the title off Morishima. Mark my words; if not this weekend, soon.

Undertaker returns to action at Unforgiven against Mark Henry. Finally WWE gets some good news. They need star power and ASAP.

Fired, Fired, Yeah Yeah. I miss Cryme Tyme. Can’t wait till they debut in TNA as Crime Time though. Biggest signing in TNA history.

Speaking of firings and quitters, King Booker has apparently given notice to WWE and will not be coming back. He violated the Wellness Policy and got suspended for 60 days (since he was already suspended once when he was on Smackdown for 30 days. I think the term Michael Cole used was "knee surgery") Bottom line, Matt Dawgs expects you to see King Booker back on WWE TV around November.

Ric Flair also gave notice depending on who you ask. I wouldn't ask Flair though because he says it ain't true. Even though it is true. He'll be back though. WCW treated him 100 times worse than WWE does and he went back to them. TNA would push him as the biggest signing in company history and then they will have a back to back taping of Impact where he would wrestle Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Sting, AJ Styles, Abyss, Christian Cage and Black Machismo Jay Lethal thus ruining any chance of scoring a Pay Per View buyrate with his signing. Besides, he needs WWE because even though he has been wrestling for over 30 years, he barely has a pot to piss in. Also, Ric Flair Finance? Really? Finanical advice from Ric Flair?

Owen Wilson says rehab is for quitters. Instead of going to rehab, he has hired a person to follow him around, hang out with him and make sure he doesn’t relapse. Amazing.

The trailer for IRONMAN is now out and I must say, it looks pretty good. I always liked Robert Downey Jr. and thinks he pulls out a good Tony Stark. A lot of people bash some Marvel movies but with the exception of Electra, I think most Marvel movies are pretty entertaining. I even liked both Daredevil and the Hulk. Sue me.

Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore was also released. It is sad to see that. He was a very good in ring wrestler and was never ever used to his full potential. I think he has plenty of ability and would have made a damn good mid card wrestler. He was saddled with a crap gimmick that pigeonholed him for his WWE career. Now that he is free, I think he can be a force to be reckoned with in TNA and on the independent scene.

Rumor has it that Rosey Anoa’i a.k.a. Rosey the “Super Hero in Training” was offered a WWE deal. He just wrestled in OVW this week teaming with his cousin Afa Jr. as a new Samoa Tag Team. Good for Rosey. I always liked him (except for when he was the S.H.I.T.). He and Jamal (Umaga) were a cool team so hopefully him and Afa Jr. will continue where 3 Minute Warning left off.

As much as I have been bashing Total Nonstop ANGLE lately, I have got to give credit where credit is due; Karen Angle is fantastic in her role. Sure it sucks that she is taking up a roster spot of someone else but still, she is talented for someone with no performing experience and she has a great character.

Apparently Britney “Train Wreck” Spears not only made an ass of herself at the MTV awards but she disrespected one of the hottest music producers in the game. As I stated two columns ago, she was offered to make a song with her ex-beau Justin Timberlake with Timbaland producing the song. She was approached about it and the story goes is that she accepted but then at the last minute, she cancelled. Well according to Timbaland, that isn’t how it went down. She apparently received a call from Timbaland about doing a song with Justin and she was disrespectful towards him and copped an attitude by saying that she doesn’t need him or Justin to make her comeback and was basically insulted by the thought that she needed them. She also made some other comments that Timbaland refuses to divulge. However he did say that he is still willing to help salvage her career as long as she apologizes to him in private for the comments she made.

The Emmy Awards are this weekend and if the Sopranos does not win for best Drama and James Gandolfini does not win for best actor in a drama, I am going to be pissed. As much as people hate the finale, this season was Gandolfini’s best as an actor and the show was kicking ass until the finale. Good stuff.

Kid Rock b*tchslapped Tommy Lee at the MTV VMA’s. Kid Rock is cool. I always liked him and b*tchslapping that b*tch Tommy Lee just upped his cool factor. Speaking of the VMA’s, did Ashanti gain some weight? Not that I would kick her out of bed because I still think she is cute. But she put on some pounds.

Finally, Club WWI is in full steam. Orlando Jordan and Bull Buchannan audio updates last week, Kevin Kelly returned this week; an in depth Radio Free Insanity with Shawn Stasiak. James Guttman has been firing on all cylinders lately and wait until you get a load of next week’s guest if all goes through. JG, you be the man.
