Greetings from under the New Blue Yankee cap.

Speaking of Yankees, this message goes to all Red Sox fans out there, we are not dead yet. Do not try to bury us; do not take us for granted. We still have half a season left with a healthy Phillip Hughes returning soon.

Apparently Triple H is now bionic. He has a bionic leg put in. Hopefully that means no more quad tears.

Rey Mysterio is on the juice. No, not Juvi-juice, steroids. Can’t say I blame him, he weighs 140 pounds off of it. He was named as one of the recipients in the Dr. Astin case. Speaking of Dr. Astin, according to Meltzer, his dad was also a doctor who killed himself in 2005 after being caught illegally distributing drugs to patients. Like father like son?

Cody Rhodes is not ready for prime time. You heard it here first. He has charisma, is pretty good on the mic and has “the look” of a wrestler. But I am not too sure about his in ring work. Can he deliver when it comes time to wrestle in a main event slot at Summerslam? Time will tell.

Rumors are circulating that Nidia from Tough Enough 1 is negotiating to join Homicide and Hernandez in LAX. If this is true, believe me when I say that I will be watching TNA weekly. I have had the biggest crush on her since her Tough Enough days. Plus, she is a Puerto Rican like me. I hope she decides to do it however I do know she had a baby not too long ago and may not want to leave the baby for anything. So we will see. Second choice is Shelly Martinez aka the Diva formerly known as Ariel now known as the Koffin Kitten. She is my current favorite diva so it is all good. Either way I will be happy.

What doesn’t make me happy is the reuniting of XXX in TNA. Senshi deserves so much more. Let’s put him with Homicide already. Gangsta Shi is MAGIC~!~!~! I don’t want to see Elix Skipper in TNA. Don’t get me wrong, he is a nice guy, I’ve met him before but he just doesn’t do it for me in TNA. They don’t give him a break. It’s that simple. As for Daniels, what the hell is wrong with TNA? They pull him off TV for a few months, repackage him, feud him with Sting, he doesn’t get over nor does he get a serious push and now he is back to the old Daniels? Huh? Just leave Senshi along and give him the push he deserves. Put him with LAX!!!

So TNA has finally decided to keep Kurt Angle as a heel for more than one week straight. Good for them. Heel Angle is a gazillion times better than Face Angle. Angle in a suit is not cool however. He appears to be trying to channel Ric Flair but looks nothing like it.

Samoa Joe is still being booked like a p*ssy. Good god. It isn’t hard to book him like a monster. They did so when he debuted. Just stop making him so gullible and stop making him fall into Angle’s traps.

ECW has lost all momentum they gained in recent months. They seem to be treading water. CM Punk isn’t getting the support he once had from fans; Nitro is a poor choice as champ. He needs a bodyguard or Melina back. Nitro by himself just isn’t cutting the mustard. Bring back K-Fed to manage him.

Speaking of managers, where the hell is Armando Alejandro Estrada? He rocked. He is actually wrestling in OVW now but he definitely needs to be on the main roster.

Congratulations to Nikki Roxx who made her TNA debut at Victory Road managing VKM.

Ring of Honor debuts on In Demand PPV this weekend. I am watching it and I recommend you do too~!~!~!

Nude Pictures of Lindsey Lohan are about to be released on the internet. Someone hacked her computer (right, I believe that) and stole some files that had nude pics of her taken by her sometime boyfriend, Calum Best. Anyway, they are going to release them soon and believe me when I say, I will look at them. She is hot.

Anyone watch the General Hospital spin off GH: Nightshift? Good show. Billy Dee Williams has come out of retirement to join the cast. I recommend it. It is on Soap Net every Thursday at 11:00 pm ET.

SHAKE AND BAKE BABY, SHAKE AND BAKE!!!!

Yeah, I just saw Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby for the first time. I haven’t laughed that hard in a while. “Dear Baby Jesus, sitting in your baby diaper watching Baby Einstein videos learning about shapes and colors.”

HAHA!!!!

Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are filming a new movie together. This time they both play cops. The bad guy in the movie is being played by 50 Cent. I know, I felt the same way. I was listening to the radio when I heard Pacino and DeNiro were filming another movie together and I got excited and wanted to cream my pants. But then they finished the sentence and I was miserable. 50 Cent? Come on. Get Rich or Die Trying was ok at best and yes, I am being generous on that one.

We need Chris Jericho back in the wrestling business. Preferably WWE but I will settle for TNA. Just need him back. He is too good to be gone for so long.

Val Kilmer has gotten REAL. Extremely fat. Like if he was a kid, he would get sent to Fat Camp. I am worried for his well being. He needs to diet. ASAP.

Apparently this upcoming season of 24 was to be filmed in Africa. After shooting some scenes there, they decided that it would be too costly and tried to find somewhere in California that can pass for Africa. That didn’t work out so the writers decided to scrap the entire idea and start writing a new storyline from scratch thus delaying production of 24. The writers aren’t fooling around and vow to make this season a million times better than the last season (which shouldn’t be difficult by any means). The season is definitely going to revolve around Jack Bauer becoming a rogue agent with no alliance to any agencies. There will also be the world’s first female president.

The Good News, Hogan Knows Best returns on Sunday and the beginning of the “Hulk booking his own divorce” angle will start as he and Linda are having “marital problems”. For those of you not “in the know” like me, the show is worked. Nothing about it is real. It isn’t a reality show, producers come up with scenarios that they seem to think are funny and likely to happen in real life and go with it. So Hogan and Linda most likely aren’t having any problems at all.

The Bad News, The WWE DIVA SEARCH is returning. Yay!!! Ok, not yay. This is horrible news. I don’t understand why they continue to think this is a good idea especially after the debacle.

For goodness sakes, Dr. Tom, if you still read this, please talk to someone in WWE management and convince them that Lashley needs a manager. I can see the justification in pushing him in a main event slot. He has a good look and is halfway decent in the ring (although he still needs work) but Christ on a cracker, put a mic in front of him and it destroys any tough guy aura about him. Imagine if Brock Lesnar would have debuted without Heyman several years back and he would have cut a promo immediately? It would have flopped instantly. Same with Lashley; Turn him heel and give him a manager who can talk and you got something good. Don’t do it and you get what you currently have. CRAP!!! He can’t cut a promo. That’s the bottom line. Mediocre isn’t even a good word to use for his promo abilities and charisma. He is horrible.

Paul Wight the boxer? I doubt he can do it. Not that I doubt his abilities as an athlete because I know he is an incredible one. But at age 35, it is kind of hard to jump into the boxing field. Although with no good heavyweights around and at his size, if he is able to develop any sort of stamina and gets a half way decent trainer, he could be world champion. It isn’t a stretch. I just hope he is serious about it.

Rob Van Dam is easily one of guys I respect in wrestling the most. The guy wants to do something and he does it. He doesn’t care about politics. He doesn’t care about repercussions or retribution from people who are out to sabotage his career. He does what he wants to do and when he wants to do it. I will still respect him if he goes to TNA although I guarantee that will misuse him worse than WWE did. But if it is an easy schedule he wants, then by all means Rob, go for it. You deserve it man.

Seriously, William Regal better be in for a push on RAW. It seemed like that on Monday where he was featured prominently but they have done this in the past before taking the rug from out underneath him. So hopefully this time is for real. He can be a solid main event heel.

Speaking of main event heels, Randy Orton is developing nicely into a solid main event heel. He has finally found his niche which he hasn’t had since he was a cocky heel in Evolution. I like this feud with the Rhodes family. Sure Dusty can’t work and I was never a fan of his but……he is excellent on the microphone. Always has been. So he is selling his end of this feud to a tee.

Edge is injured. Why is it that Edge cannot seem to get a lengthy title reign? Actually, how come a Smackdown champion can’t seem to get a lengthy title reign? From Batista to Taker to Edge, everyone comes up injured. If Hulk Hogan were around, he’d probably say it was because they don’t know how to work, True story. I was watching a shoot interview and I forgot who it was but he said that Hogan, when in WCW saw Eddie Guerrero taping up his ankle because he had an injury. Hogan was walking by and actually said, “You wouldn’t have to do that if you knew how to work, brother” and walked away. How amazing is that?

Why is Victoria on Smackdown? My fear is that this is just leading to her being released. She is one of the best women’s wrestlers around and has no titles to fight for. She is basically going to be used to train divas who don’t know how to work but still, she should at least be able to compete for a title.

As of press time, Marcus Cor Von aka Monty Brown no-showed this past weeks ECW taping. No word on why or what the situation is but let’s hope it doesn’t lead to his release as he has a lot of potential on ECW.

John Morrison? Really? What in the blue hell was wrong with Johnny Nitro? Other than a slightly tweaked look and a slower, less pitchy delivery on promos, he is essentially the same character. I know he is supposed to do this gimmick where he is less of a “Paris Hilton” type star like Melina now and is trying to be artsy like Jim Morrison of the Doors but come on. Let’s be perfectly honest, someone on the WWE writing staff saw the Doors on cable and thought this was a good idea. What are the chances of them following up on it? And finally, John Morrison? Did he really say that it was his birth name or that he was known as John Morrison his whole life? Um, excuse me, but most people saw Tough Enough, they know the name is Hennigan, not Morrison. What the hell are you talking about? Just stick with Johnny Nitro and call it a day no? I am completely dumbfounded at this.

The Great Khali is the World Champion. Now I know that belt doesn’t have any real lineage since it was created for Triple H on RAW but still, physically it is still the same belt worn by Ric Flair and many legends before him. Now the Great Khali holds it. And before I start getting nasty e-mails about ruining Smackdown, it is on WWE’s main page. So they spoiled it already.

Edge is injured, out for four months with a torn pectoral muscle. He is expected back in November. Sucks a lot for him. He was on a roll as champ. At least he will hopefully be back for Survivor Series which is roughly around the same time Undertaker is due back. So Smackdown will get a nice little boost come November.

Both Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn have pulled out of the Jackass Summerslam match. Bam because he was injured in a skateboarding accident and broke some ribs. Dunn is out simply because Bam is not participating. Officially Steve O is expected to be the ringleader of the Jackass contingent however WWE officials are still negotiating to sign Johnny Knoxville for the event. Either way, Umaga is going to kill someone at Summerslam and I am going to be watching.

Teddy Hart signed a WWE developmental deal. I wonder if they signed his cats too? For those not in the know, Teddy Hart once said in an interview that he wanted to train an army of cats to walk him to the ring during his entrance. Yes, he said that. And he was serious. Teddy Hart is an interesting person to say the least. I met Teddy Hart at a USA Pro show back in 2004 (I think it was 04) anyway, he was scheduled to wrestle on the show however when he and Jack Evans arrived, he had his hand in a cast. After shooting the breeze with some of the guys, I saw him. I walked over and introduced myself and he said he was pleased to meet me. Anyway, there was a bar where the show was being held (it was in a night club) and we both walked over to get some drinks before the show began. Teddy and I began talking and he asked if I was wrestling tonight. I told him I was and I asked if he was. He said he was going to try but doubted the New York State Athletic Commission would let him. I asked him how he hurt his hand and he told me. He injured his hand knocking out a six foot seven, two hundred and fifty pound man in Canada who was beating up a homeless man in the street. He was in his car when he saw the altercation take place; he got out and yelled at the man to stop which he did. When the man turned around and told Teddy to mind his business, Teddy knocked him out and in the process broke a knuckle in his hand. Teddy then proceeded to talk to me for about fifteen minutes about how homeless people are mistreated and how he wishes he could just give money away to homeless people or open up a shelter for them. He then started talking about God and how we need to treat those less fortunate better in the world and God will accept us, etc etc. Let me just say it was probably the last discussion I ever expected to have with Teddy Hart. Now while many say he is a quirky individual and a little aloof, he did seem genuine in wanting to help homeless people. So he gets my respect for that. I hope he succeeds in WWE along with the rest of the Harts who are now under developmental deals (Harry Smith, Nattie Neidhart and T.J. Wilson.)

I recently posted a picture in my section of the message board about Amy Winehouse. Before I get into details, please note that I am not a fan of hers by any means. I am sure she is talented as I heard a rumor that Jay-Z was introducing her to people over a year before she became famous here when they went to Cipriani’s here in NYC and was telling everyone in the restaurant that she was going to become a huge star. Lo and behold, she is. That being said, the only song of hers that I know is “Rehab” which isn’t that good. Catchy song, but not good. Anyway, did anyone else know she was once decent looking? She had a full body and no tattoos. Now she is skinny and is full of tattoos. Ponderous, FN Ponderous.  

I am still behind on my summer movie schedule. I haven’t seen Transformers, Oceans 13, Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix, or Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I did see Spider-man 3 though. Not bad.

Can someone explain to me the goddamn problem with NFL people getting in trouble with the law? The guys get paid millions of dollars a year, only work 7 months a year with 5 months of vacation/free time, get paid to work at a job they love and have been doing for years and yet they can’t manage to hang out with people who aren’t going to shoot other people or beat someone half to death. Just hang out with people who aren’t murderous thugs no? Rappers too. Remy Ma shooting her friend in the stomach? No. Jay-Z said it best in a song, (don’t remember which one) but he said something to the effect that “I’ll never go to jail again, my man will shoot you” Basically saying he has people to shoot people for him while he is drinking Pina Coladas on some Caribbean island somewhere. That’s how it should be done.

Speaking of dumb decisions, how hard is it for a celebrity to hire a driver? What is with all these DWI and DUI’s for actors? F*CKING CHRIST, you people get paid several million a movie, hire a driver!!!

Abyss without a mask and then talking? WTF? Next week, back in a mask. I don’t understand TNA, please help me understand.
