ECW Real Time Report: Match By Match Coverage

Tonight, Shelton Benjamin makes another try at ending Kofi Kingston's unbeaten streak. Will "The Gold Standard" finally get a win or will Kofi continue his winning ways?
After successfully defending their WWE Tag Team Championship against Kane and CM Punk at the Judgment Day PPV, what does the future hold for John Morrison and the Miz? With the One Night Stand PPV less than two weeks away, you can be sure that someone will make a statement in order to get on the big show. ECW General Manager Armando Estrada announces that in less than two weeks, the WWE presents One Night Stand, the only night in which every match is contested by Extreme Rules. In the ring with Armando are four former ECW champions (Chavo Guerrero, CM Punk, John Morrison, & Tommy Dreamer). At One Night Stand, it will be a Fatal Fourway Singapore Cane Match to determine the number one contender for the ECW title. Tonight, the fans get a preview of the match as John Morrison teams with Chavo Guerrero against Tommy Dreamer and CM Punk. ECW is coming to you live from Des Moines, Iowa. VIDEO: Highlights from the WWE Tag Team Championship Match at Judgment Day where Miz and John Morrison successfully defended Kane and CM Punk. 1. The Miz vs. Kane (ECW World Champion) (Non-title match): Before the match, Miz tells the fans to quiet down as he has a headache thanks to the chokeslam he took on Sunday night. Despite the concussion he sustained, he's still WWE Tag Team Champion. Tonight, he's going to do what his partner (John Morrison) will do after winning at One Night Stand-beat Kane. Miz runs into a punch from the Big Red Machine and soon finds himself being knocked down to the mat after a big boot. Miz tries to exchange punches with Kane but gets powered down to the mat. Kane then picks Miz up in reverse chickenwing. Kane charges Miz in the corner and gets caught with a boot to the face. Miz tries some fisticuffs to slow Kane down but soon finds himself thrown out of the ring. Kane follows him out and tries for a bodysalm but Miz counters. Kane stops Miz from throwing him into the steel post once but a second try succeeds and Kane's back crashes into the steel post. Back in the ring, Miz starts pounding away at Kane's head and neck. Running clothesline to Kane followed by a cover that goes nowhere. Miz applies a side headlock and manages to keep the hold on for a few moments until Kane picks him up. Boot to Miz' head followed by two clotheslines. Side slam and cover on Miz for a two count. Kane is going to the top rope. Kane hits a flying clothesline then goes for the chokeslam but Miz somehow manages to slip free. Kane shoves Miz into the corner and begins pounding away as the referee orders him to break. Kane puts Miz in the Tree of Woe and begins choking him from outside the ring. After ignoring several warnings from the referee, Kane is disqualified for failing to break the hold. WINNER: The Miz (by disqualification). After the match, Miz is chokeslammed by Kane. The Big Red Machine grabs a steel chair and sets Miz' neck in it, looking to possibly end his career. Fortunately for Miz, John Morrison pulls Miz to safety. VIDEO: Highlights from the previous two bouts between Kofi & Shelton. So far, Kofi is 2-0 against Shelton. 2. Kofi Kingston vs. Shelton Benjamin: Benjamin gets the early advantage, using brawling tactics to get the early advantage. However Kofi uses his speed to gain the upper hand momentarily until Shelton slams him onto the turnbuckle and Kofi's kneecap bounces off of it. Benjamin goes for the pin, getting a two count. Benjamin targets Kofi's knee, applying a leglock to the Jamaican superstar. Kofi tries to fight back with kicks and manages to hit a flying headscissors on Benjamin. Benjamin knees Kofi and bounces off of the ropes towards Kofi, walking into a dropkick. Cover on Benjamin for a one and a half count. Side Russian Leg Sweep by Kofi. Kofi tries to follow up with the Double Legdrop but Shelton counters with a Schoolboy for a near fall. Shelton goes back to work on the leg, applying a One Leg Boston Crab until Kofi reaches the ropes, forcing a break. Benjamin punches away at Kofi in the corner then goes for a Stinger Splash. Kofi ducks and goes after Benjamin with the Jamaican Buzzsaw. Unfortunately Benjamin is one step ahead and ducks the move, countering with a reverse DDT leading to the win. WINNER: Shelton Benjamin (by pinfall). After the match, Tazz ponders how Kofi will handle his first loss. Shelton Benjamin smiles on his way out of the ring as Kofi gives him an angry look. VIDEO: Hype video for Wrestlemania 24. VIDEO: Highlights of Colin Delaney's victory over Armanda Estrada, a win that earned him an ECW contract. 3. Mixed Tag Team Match: Colin Delaney & Kelly Kelly vs. Mike Knox & Layla: Layla talks trash to Kelly Kelly before the match. She boots her then thinks she has Kelly thrown over the top rope. Kelly skins the cat then gives a headscissors Layla over the top rope. Brief brawl outside before Kelly covers Layla in the ring. Knox breaks up the pin and Colin runs in to try and stop him. Knox throws Colin out of the ring.. Layla charges Kelly in the corner but there's nobody home. Kelly Kelly hits the K2 (Leg drop bulldog), covering Layla for the three count. WINNERS: Kelly Kelly & Colin Delaney (Kelly pins Layla). After the match, Mike Knox lays out Colin Delaney with the Spinning Reverse STO. Kelly Kelly goes to check on Delaney but she's interrupted by ECW General Manager Armando Estrada. 4. Colin Delaney vs. Armando Estrada: Armando hits an inverted suplex before covering Delaney for the pin. WINNER: Armando Estrada. VIDEO: Hype video for the Judgment Day PPV replay. VIDEO: Raw Rebound. Highlights of the "Loser Gets Fired" Match between "King" William Regal (Raw General Manager) and Ken Kennedy. Regal lost the match and is now gone from Raw. ECW announcers Mike Adamle and Tazz run down the matches for the June 1st PPV, One Night Stand. VIDEO: Hype video for WWE Shopzone. BUY! BUY! BUY! 5. CM Punk & Tommy Dreamer vs. John Morrison & Chavo Guerrero: Dreamer starts the match off against Morrison. Morrison grabs at Dreamer's leg but Dreamer grabs him for a side headlock. Morrison whips Dreamer into the ropes but gets slammed to the mat. Hip toss on Morrison. Blind tag to Chavo but the two fail to capitalize as Morrison and Chavo crash into each other. Tag to Punk who picks up Guerrero for a delayed vertical suplex. Cover on Guerrero for a two count. Punk begins wearing Guerrero down with kicks before he's forced into Guerrero's corner. Morrison tags and he begins working Punk over. Quick tag to Guerrero as the two begin to gel as a team. Punk knocks Morrison off the mat apron with a punch then tosses Chavo out of the ring. Punk dives out of the ring and onto Guerrero as Morrison ducks out of the way. Punk throws Guerrero into the ring and tries to get in the ring after him. Unfortunately, Morrison slams Punk in the back then puts him in the Electric Chair, slamming Punk onto the ground outside the ring. After the break, Morrison has the upper hand against Punk. Side Russian Leg Sweep on Punk followed by a tag to Chavo. Chavo dives over the top rope onto Punk's leg and continues working over Punk's left leg. Chavo talks trash to Punk, asking him if he wants to tag in Dreamer. Chavo then applies an armbar and chinlock to Punk, pressuring his neck and shoulder. Cover on Punk for a one count as Chavo prevents Punk from making the tag. Tag to Morrison. Morrison knees Punk in the back then distracts the referee, allowing Chavo a chance to get some cheap shots on Punk. Morrison stomps down Punk in the ring before covering him for about a one and a half count. Morrison starts talking trash with Dreamer and Punk surprises Morrison by rolling him up for a near fall. More punishment for Punk as Chavo tags in and dropkicks Punk. Salto by Chavo to Punk. Chavo tries to kick Punk but Punk counters with an enziguri. Punk nearly makes the tag but Morrison stops him at the last moment. Morrison tries an atomic drop but Punk counters and throws him into the corner. Running kneelift to Morrison followed by a bulldog. Both men are down as the referee begins counting them out. Both men crawl over but Punk makes the tag, allowing Dreamer to rush in and attack Morrison. Pump handle suplex on Morrison followed by a cover for a two count. Dreamer hits a DDT and covers Morrison before Chavo makes the save. Punk goes after Chavo and both men fall outside of the ring. Dreamer puts Morrison in the Tree of Woe then goes for the hesitation dropkick. However, Chavo pulls Morrison to safety and Dreamer slams into the turnbuckle. Chavo hits the Frog Splash and covers Dreamer for the three count. WINNERS: Chavo Guerrero & John Morrison (Guerrero pins Dreamer). After the match, the Big Show's music hits and the big man enters the ring, laying out all of the competitors from tonight's main event. Big Show grabs the microphone and reminds the fans that he is a former ECW champion and that he's putting himself into the Singapore Cane Match at One Night Stand.
