...

After winning an ECW World Championship title shot at last Sunday's One Night Stand PPV, what does the Big Show have planned for ECW champion Kane?  Also, the four men who competed with Kane last Sunday will square off in a Fatal Fourway with the winner facing Kane tonight

ECW is coming to you live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California

BACKSTAGE:  ECW crew members are taking down ECW General Manager Armando Estrada's office.  Armando screams that he is the General Manager.  Or is he?  Teddy Long shows up and tells Estrada "Not any more!"

VIDEO:  Highlights of the Big Show winning the Singapore Cane Match at One Night Stand.  The Big Show suffered a serious laceration (along with a broken orbital bone and a concussion) when his head struck the steel steps but he won the match (and an ECW title shot) nonetheless.  The Big Show will face ECW champion Kane at the Night of Champions PPV.

1.  Fatal Fourway Match (Winner to face Kane tonight): CM Punk vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. John Morrison: ECW announcers Mike Adamle and Tazz wonder how beat up each man is after wrestling in the Singapore Cane Match.  Punk squares off with Chavo while Morrison tangles with Dreamer.  Side kick and a snapmare knock Dreamer down but Morrison misses an elbowdrop.  Meanwhile, Punk and Guerrero are grappling in the corner until Punk gains some leverage and suplexes Guerrero onto Morrison.  Dreamer and Punk begin exchanging fisticuffs as Guerrero goes after Morrison with a series of kicks.  Punk rolls up Chavo in a surprise pin attempt but Chavo kicks out.  Meanwhile, Morrison goes after Dreamer then Chavo, knocking him down with forearm uppercuts.  Dreamer reverses an Irish whip and Morrison grabs ahold of the ropes, slowing his momentum but Dreamer clotheslines him, knocking him out of the ring.  Dreamer follows Morrison and is tackled by Chavo who dives through the ropes.  Punk sees a good thing going and follows suit.  However Morrison blindsides Punk then throws him into the ring (after making time to take down Chavo).  Punk throws Morrison into the corner then follows up with a running kneelift.  However Morrison rebounds with  as springboard kick.  Cover on Punk but Dreamer breaks it up.  Dreamer puts Morrison in a Boston Crab until Chavo breaks the hold.  Three Amigos from Chavo on Dreamer as the crowd boos him.  Chavo goes to the top rope but Morrison cuts him off at the pass, chopping him and smashing him with  a forearm.  Morrison grabs Chavo and looks like he's going for a Superplex.  However Punk trips up Morrison and he falls into the Tree of Woe.  Dreamer capitalizes by hitting a hesitation dropkick on Morrison.  Punk tries to steal a win on Dreamer with a springboard kick.  Chavo hits a Frog Splash on Dreamer but he's caught by Punk and Punk hits the Go to Sleep.  Cover on Chavo for the pin.

WINNER:  CM Punk (pins Chavo).

BACKSTAGE:  Teddy Long hands Armando a letter and informs him that the WWE Board has appointed him (Long) as the new General Manager.  Long tells Estrada not to worry as he's still a WWE Superstar.  However Long feels Estrada is making too much money.  Estrada asks Long to work with him and Long agrees, telling him he's got a match against a good friend of his from SmackDown!  Long tells Estrada to get stepping as he's got a match against U.S. champion Matt Hardy.

2.  "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin vs.  Matt Sydal: Collar and elbow tieup but Shelton quickly subdues Sydal with a pump handle slam.  Sydal tries to surprise Benjamin with an early pin that fails to get the job down.  However Sydal stuns Benjamin with a flying head scissors followed by a high cross bodyblock.  Benjamin quickly realizes Sydal shouldn't be taken lately and refocuses, taking Sydal down with brawling tactics.  Press slam by Benjamin that "The Gold Standard" turns into a backbreaker.  Benjamin stomps at Sydal's ribs before tossing him into the corner.  Benjamin applies a hammerlock top Sydal, keeping the rookie WWE star on the mat.  Sydal gets to his feet and punches at Benjamin.  Sydal charges into a fist from Benjamin and soon finds himself tosses out of the ring.  Benjamin tries to stare down Kofi Kingston and Kofi gets to his feet, asking Benjamin what he's going to do about it.  As the referee counts Sydal and Benjamin out, Benjamin picks up Sydal and tosses him into Kofi, knocking Kofi out of his chair.  The referee counts Sydal out as Benjamin gets back into the ring.

WINNER:  Shelton Benjamin (by count out).

After the match, an angry Kofi Kingston charges into the ring after Benjamin.  The action spills outside the ring where Benjamin whips Kofi into the steel steps.  Referee Scott Armstrong keeps Benjamin at bay as Kofi lies outside the ring.

3.  United States Champion Matt Hardy vs. Armando Estrada (Non-title match): Before the match, Mike Adamle points out that Estrada looks hesitant to get in the ring.  Adamle calls Estrada "The sharp dressed man with the island tan".  Estrada tries to kick Hardy but Hardy grabs the leg and slams Estrada down.  Estrada charges Hardy into the corner and begins punching at Hardy but Hardy gains the upper hand with punches on Estrada.  Matt drops an elbow off of the second rope as Estrada tries to get his bearings back.  Twist of Fate by the U.S. champion and that's all she wrote.

WINNER:  Matt Hardy (by pinfall).

After the match ECW General Manager Teddy Long comes out and tells Estrada he's going to get a chance to prove he's worth all the money he's being paid.  Long announces a match between Estrada and Delaney.

4.  Armando Estrada vs. Colin Delaney: Victory roll by Delaney for a two count.  Delaney gets caught with punches and forearms from Estrada.  Estrada tries a lifting falling reverse DDT but Delaney counters and rolls Estrada up for the pin.

WINNER:  Colin Delaney (by pinfall).

After his win, Delaney is congratulated by Matt Hardy.

BACKSTAGE:  Teddy Long tells Armando Estrada that he's got to reconsider his contract given the fact he's lost two matches straight tonight.  Estrada begs to be kept on and Long tells him he'll have to renegotiate his contract.  Long informs Estrada that he's going to have to earn his contract in ECW, just like he made Colin Delaney do.  Turnabout is fair play Long tells Estrada before Ron Simmons shows up to say "DAMN!"

5.  Kane (ECW World Champion) vs. CM Punk (Non-title match): Tazz talks about what a great opportunity this is for Punk to face Kane without using his Money in the Bank briefcase and get an idea how he'll fare against Kane (as well as put him at the top of the title contender's list).  Punk tries to keep away from Kane but Kane grabs ahold of him and powers him down to the mat.  Arm bar by Punk but Kane powers his way out, knocking Punk down ot the mat.  Kane smirks as he sees Punk down on the mat.  Kane forces Punk into the corner and punches at him in the corner, beating Punk down until referee Scott Armstrong forces a break.  Punk fights his way out of the corner, punching at Kane then hitting a spin kick.  Punk clotheslines Kane over the top rope but Kane grabs Punk and pulls him out of the ring, dropping Punk with a kick.  Once both men are back in the ring, Kane continues working over Punk, battering him in the corner.  Kane wears Punk down with a reverse chicken wing but Punk slips out and tries to fight back.  Unfortunately Kane is on his "A" game and he knocks Punk out of the ring with a big boot.

After the break, CM Punk is seen in an abdominal stretch.  Punk slips out and applies an abdominal stretch but Kane rakes Punk's eyes and hiptosses him down.  Kane dropkicks Punk before covering him for a two count.  Kane continues beating down Punk, hammering him with forearms.  Kane then applies a bodyscissors, wearing Punk down.  Punk breaks out but Kane quickly gets back on track, laying Punk out with a clothesline.  Kane goes back to the bodyscissors as Punk writhes on the mat.  Punk struggles to escape and finally manages to break out.  Punk surprises Kane with a series of kicks before whipping him into the ropes.  Kane counters but Punk slides between Kane's legs.  Unfortunately Kane catches him and knocks him down to the mat.  The two continue brawling until Punk catches Kane with a running kneelift.  Punk hits the move two more times before trying to bulldog Kane.  Kane grabs Punk and gives him a sideslam.  Punk catches Kane by bouncing out of the corner and DDTing Kane.  Kane kicks out of a pin and goes after Punk.  Kane climbs the top rope and hits the flying clothesline.  Kane covers Punk but Punk somehow kicks out.  Kane signals the chokeslam as Punk struggles to get to his feet.  Punk surprises Kane with an enziguri.  Kane throws Punk over the ropes but Punk skins the cat and tries the GTS on Kane.   Kane blocks the hold and finally manages to hit the chokeslam.  That's it for Punk!

WINNER:  Kane (by pinfall).

After the match, WWE Tag Team champions John Morrison and the Miz run in to the ring, laying Kane out with a brutal two on one attack.
