...

Last week, Kane was jumped by the WWE Tag Team Champions.  Tonight, Kane picks a partner to take on John Morrison and the Miz.  Who will Kane choose and will the Big Red Machine finally get some revenge on the hosts of the Dirt Sheet?

ECW is coming to you from Fresno University in Fresno, California!

VIDEO:  Recap of Shelton Benjamin laying out Kofi Kingston.

1.  Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne vs.  Mike Knox & Shelton Benjamin: Knox knocks down Bourne before tagging in Shelton.  Shelton clotheslines Bourne before laying the boots to him.  Benjamin shoots Bourne into the ropes thinking he's going out of the ring but Bourne bounces off the ropes and kicks Benjamin.  Tag to Kofi.  Waistlock on Knox but Knox powers out.  Kofi gets Knox in the corner and peppers him with kicks and punches.  Kofi goes after Shelton Benjamin and chases him around the ring.  When he chases Benjamin into the ring, he walks into a clothesline from Knox.  Benjamin kicks Kofi down before applying a chinlock.  Benjamin whips Benjamin into the ropes and catches him with a dropkick.  Tag to Knox who runs in and applies a surfboard to Kofi.  Kofi uses his amazing flexibility to escape and kick Knox down.  Tag to Bourne who stuns Knox with a monkey flip and dropkick.  Knox shrugs off the attack and kicks Bourne out of the ring.  Knox hasn't had enough and brings Kofi into the ring.  Benjamin goes after Kofi.  Meanwhile, Bourne has recovered and he hits a missile dropkick on Knox, stunning him and covering him for the 1-2-3
.
WINNERS:  Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston (Bourne pins Knox).

BACKSTAGE:  A mysterious blonde is in ECW General Manager Teddy Long's office.  Armando Estrada shows up and introduces himself to the lovely young lady named Tiffany.  Estrada tries to romance Tiffany only to learn she's Teddy Long's new assistant.  Long shows up and tells Estrada he's surprised he showed up.  Tonight, he gets a chance to earn an ECW contract.  Tonight, he faces Finlay.

2.  Kelly Kelly vs.  Victoria: Victoria starts off strong against Kelly Kelly, knocking Kelly down with a big kick then slamming her head into the turnbuckle.  Victoria applies a hammerlock, wearing Kelly down before covering her for a pin.  Victoria applies what looks like a modified Cobra Clutch but Kelly refuses to give up.  Kelly gets to her feet and elbows her way out.  Victoria doesn't relent and goes after Kelly's arm, twisting it and applying pressure.  Victoria goes back to the Cobra Clutch but once again Kelly rises to her feet.  More elbows from Kelly as Victoria finally lets go.  Victoria whips Kelly into the ropes but Kelly catches her with a knee.  Whip into the corner and Kelly hits a flying head scissors followed by a dropkick.  Victory Roll on Victoria for a two count.  Victoria manages to throw Kelly out of the ring but Kelly fights her way back up to the mat apron.  Kelly goes for a head scissors but Victoria pushes her of of the mat apron and Kelly lands hard on the floor.  THe referee makes the count then checks on Kelly and orders the match stopped.

WINNER:  Victoria by match stoppage.

After the match, WWE officials check on the Kelly Kelly.

3. Finlay (w.  Hornswoggle) vs.  Armando Estrada: Estrada saunters out to the ring,  Estrada Pearl Harbors Finlay before the match, no doubt eager to win his ECW contract.  Estrada's offense doesn't last long with Finlay using brawling tactics to wear Estrada down quickly.  Finlay roll and a pinfall.

WINNER:  Finlay (by pinfall).

After the match, Teddy Long shows up and decides to give Estrada another shot.  Long orders a match for Estrada against a familiar opponent-Colin Delaney.  As the referee's back is turned, Finlay blasts Estrada with the shillelagh.

4.  Colin Delaney vs. Armando Estrada:  Delaney DDT's Estrada and covers him for the win.

WINNER:  Colin Delaney (by pinfall).

Teddy Long notes that Estrada lost another match.  The third time is the charm though so he gives Estrada another shot, this time against Hornswaggle.

5.  Hornswaggle vs. Armando Estrada:  Hornswaggle hits a Frogsplash off the top rope and covers Estrada. 1-2-3.

WINNER:  Hornswaggle (by pinfall).

After the match, Hornswaggle dances with Delaney.  Out of nowhere, Finlay smashes the shillelagh over Delaney's head, flooring him.  Apparently Delaney made the mistake of putting Hornswaggle's hat on Finlay's head.

Mark Henry is in the ring.  He calls out the Big Show.  The Big Show is more than happy to oblige and makes his way down the aisle.  Mike Adamle notes that Show broke his orbital bone during the Singapore Cane Match at the One Night Stand PPV.  Adamle notes that it's the World's Strongest Man and the World's Biggest Athlete.  Henry tells Show he wants to be the first to congratulate him on winning a title shot for Night of Champions.  He also wants to be the first to challenge Show should he beat Kane for the ECW title.  Show thanks Henry but doesn't let go of his hand.  Show tells Henry he knows what he's doing and warns him that if "he keeps campaigning for an ass whupping, he's going to get elected".  Big Show lets go of Henry's hand and "The World's Strongest Man" quickly leaves.  Big Show tells the fans he's going in to Night of Champions and leaving as champion.  Just then, Kane's pyro and music goes off as the Big Red Machine walks down the aisle while Show is on his way back to the dressing room.  The two engage in a staredown.  Show lets Kane pass and walks back to the dressing room.

VIDEO:  Highlights of Kane getting beat down by Morrison & The Miz after his win over CM Punk.

6.  Kane (ECW World Champion) & CM Punk vs.  John Morrison & The Miz (WWE Tag Team Champions): Morrison starts off against Punk. Collar and elbow tie up with Morrison getting the upper hand and applying an arm bar.  Punk goes down to the mat and rolls his way out of the hold, countering the arm bar into a hammerlock.  Morrison fights his way out but Punk quickly rebounds with kicks and a snapmare, covering Morrison and getting a two count.  Morrison fights back with brawling tactics, tagging in Miz.  Miz goes to whip Punk's head into the turnbuckle only for Punk to counter.  Forearm uppercut followed by a kick.  Miz fights back with punches and kicks until Punk catapults Miz over the top rope.  High cross bodyblock by Punk over the rope and onto Miz.

After the commercial break,  Kane is applying an arm bar to Miz. Kane drops a legdrop on Kane before reapplying the armbar.  Kane continues the armbar as Miz tries to fight his way out.  Miz uses some leverage to get on top of Kane and begins raining blows on the Big Red Machine.  Kane fights back and knocks Morrison off of the mat apron before flooring Miz with a big boot.  Side slam to Miz.  Cover on on Miz for a two count.  Kane goes to the air but Miz ducks out of the way and wastes no time stomping on the fallen Kane.  Tag to Morrison who jumps in and continues the stompdown on Kane.  Chinlock on Kane as Morrison turns it into a front facelock.  He's going to have to do more than that to beat Kane.  Kane rises to his feet but Morrison is able to tag in Miz.  Miz stomps and punches Kane while he's in the tag team champions' corner.  Running knee to Kane followed by another tag.  Missile dropkick to Kane by Morrison but it's only good enough to get a one and a half count.  Morrison appears frustrated and begins punching away at Kane.  Another tag to Miz who buffets Kane with punches.  Miz is whipped into the ropes and Kane sends him high into the air with a high cross body block.  That's all Kane needs to make the tag.  Punk can't wait to get in and hits a roundhouse kick on Morrison's head.  Powerslam by Punk and a slow cover for a two count.  Backslide on Morrison but Miz runs in and kicks Punk, making the save.  Miz kicks Punk in the ribs (Punk looks to have injured his ribs when he dived out after Miz earlier on in the match).  The save costs Miz though as he gets kicked out of the ring.   Morrison kicks Punk in the tender ribs.  Neckbreaker by Morrison on Punk and a cover.  Miz holds Kane's legs, preventing the save as the referee counts to three.

WINNERS:  Miz & Morrison (Morrison pins Punk).
