William Regal comes out to the ring with his "Ruthless Roundtable" stable of Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekial Jackson. He talks about how ECW will never be the same due to the group that he formed. Christian interupts his promo and comes out to the ring to a pretty big pop. He tells Regal that if he keeps talking the ratings will go down to zero. Christian rips on Regal by reminding him of the victory he earned over him at Summerslam in only 8 seconds! Regal demands his rematch. Christian calls him "Bill" which pisses Regal off, the crowd chants "Bill" at him as ECW General Manager Tiffany comes out to set the record straight, she tells "Billiam" Regal if he wants a rematch for the title he must first defeat Christian in a non title match and that match is our main event for tonight!

Sheamus v.s. Goldust

These two have had quite the rivaly the past few weeks on both ECW and Superstars where they have traded wins. I am a big fan of both men and think they have great entrance music and unique looks. Goldust seems to be rejuvinated since working with the Celtic Warrior which is good to see as he is a valuable asset to the ECW roster at this point in his career. Sheamus is proving that he is a sure fire future superstar by working such good matches with a veteran in Goldust. They fought on the outside of the ring and neither man made it back into the ring before the countout making this match a double countout.

We had another cringe worthy backstage segment with Shelton Benjamin and The Bella Twins where they had Shelton sing a song which sucked. Zack Ryder walked up and got involved to which Shelton reminded him of why he should mind his own buisness before he embarres him again. ECW GM Tiffany shows up and tells them to get ready because tonight the team of Yoshi Tatsu and Tyler Reks will be wrestling the team of Zack Ryder and.... Shelton Benjamin!

We also saw the recap of The Hurricane's in ring return last week when he beat Paul Birchill who has a rematch with him on this weeks Superstars. Paul and Katie Lea were being interviewed by the new backstage announcer woman who Birchill asked if she was actually Wonder Woman in disguise. Nothing more after this other than the Birchills' walking off in anger.

Shelton Benjamin & Zack Ryder v.s. Yoshi Tatsu & Tyler Reks

It appears that Tatsu and Reks are going to be a new thrown together tag team for some reason. Why not bring back Tajiri or simply throw Funaki with Tatsu instead and reform Kiantie! Anyway, This was a short match in which Reks was barely in the ring. The end came after Shelton grabbed Ryder on the apron and threw him in confusion arose to which Yoshi took advantage and plastered Ryder with a high right kick KO for the win. After the match Shelton slid back in the ring and hit Zack with the Paydirt for losing the match for them.

Winners: Yoshi Tatsu & Tyler Reks

William Regal v.s. ECW Champion Christian - Non-Title Match

Well, Regal did last more than 8 seconds. This is the match Summerslam should have had as far as in ring. You shouldn't give people that pay 40 bucks a 8 second match and then give away a 15 minute match for free. Regal got the win after Kozlov interefered hitting Christian with a headbutt after Christian slapped Kozlov outside the ring. Regal finished him off with a running knee to the head. Now at Breaking Point it will be Christian v.s. Regal for the ECW championship.
