RDLee's ECW Real-Time Report - Can William Regal Survive a Hurricane Before The Number One Contender's Main Event Battle Royal?

By RDLee Sep 15, 2009 - 10:04 PM

Welcome to tonights real-time of ECW on Syfy. Be on the lookout tommorrow afternoon for an ALL NEW Radio Free Insanity as JG scores a interview with a former WWF superstar in his first uncut shoot ever! And he's so elusive that the Internet doesn't even know his real name. So be sure to check that out when it hits the site tommorrow.

Also on tap for tommorrow will be my coverage of Gamespot.com's WWE Smackdown v.s. Raw 2010 live uncovering of this years much talked about roster. Apparently alot of rumors have been floating around about who will be in the game so all will be revealed tommorrow, so be sure to check it out around 4 P.M. or shortly after.

-

We begin ECW with GM Tiffany in the ring claiming how proud she is of her current champion. William Regal with Kozlov and Jackson in tow, come out and interrupt her. Regal asks why she banned his allies from ringside at the PPV and she told him that he should understand as a former GM that the fans deserve a fair one on one title match. He asks for another championship rematch and she denies it telling him he has a match right now.

William Regal v.s. The Hurricane

Regal in street clothes gets his arse handed to him the entire match and then tries to exit the ring only for Hurricane to throw him back in the ring. However Regal was ready for him when he crawled into the ring and Regal hit Hurricane with his Knee Trembler finisher to pick up the win. After the match Paul Birchill attacks the weakened Hurricane and hits him with a modified Jackhammer to leave him laying.

Winner: William Regal

Goldust is backstage with Yoshi Tatsu teaching him how to say things in English. Zack Ryder approaches and asks Yoshi if he knows how to say the word "loser" to which Tatsu responds with "Zack Ryder"!!!! Their one on one match is next!

-

Back from commercial break we see new backstage announcer Angela Fong talk to Paul Birchill who asked where on earth Gregory Helms was??? He also said he would not stop beating down The Hurricane until he exposes his identity. He said he had a battle royale to win tonight.

Yoshi Tatsu v.s. Zack Ryder

The Bella Twins were the special guest announcers for the match for some reason. Yoshi is sporting some cool looking new tights with a nice green color in them. Yoshi utilized a variety of unique moves such as a roaring elbom and rolling snapmare to try and gain a pinfall with the crowd on his side however it was Ryder that started making a comeback by hitting his Leg Lariat and getting a 2 count. Yoshi suprised Ryder out of nowhere with a High Right Kick to the skull to score the win.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu
