Welcome to tonights ECW report on SyFy. This will be a quick recap because tonight is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 night at the RDLee household. I will be playing along side the master and ruler of this site and possibly the world, Mr. James Guttman and hopefully some other people that I have met on here at some point.
Our very own Aaron Wood is in attendence at tonight's ECW tapings and should be popping by here later with a more in depth and detailed recap of the show since he was there live. Hopefully he will throw some pictures up as well so be on the look out for that later on.
Anyways, here is a quick rundown of what happened tonight in the land of extreme...
-
We opened with a Abraham Washington Show featuring guest Yoshi Tatsu. Same routine as usual with Abe making jokes no one laughes at except WWE Hall of Famer, Tony Atlas. Nothing really special to say here except they seem to be building Yoshi into a comedic character that can turn the volume up and be serious at any given time.

Goldust v.s. Paul Birchill
Goldust got the win in this quick match after the Hurricane came out and distracted Bichill allowing The Bizarre One to capitilize and steal a pinfall over the former Pirate. They announced that next week on ECW it would be Hurricane v.s. Birchill in a mask v.s. ECW career match.
Winner: Goldust
-
Vance Archer (TNA's Lance Hoyt) v.s. Random Jobber of the Week
Vance cut a promo before his match informing everyone that he is here to dominate ECW. Vance then proceeded to destroy the poor jobber in mere seconds with a reverse DDT like finisher similiar to what Kozlov used to do.
Winner: Vance Archer

ECW Championship Match -
Christian v.s. William Regal
Both men recieved nice pops from the crowd. The match was a fairly back and forth encounter with plenty of action and positive responses from the audience. Christian picked up the win following a Killswitch on Regal to retain the title. The announcers seemed to wonder if things would have been different had the Ruthless Roundtable not been banned from ringside.
Winner and STILL ECW Champion: Christian
