Welcome to tonights ECW on SyFy report. I am your host, RDLee and I want to mention right off the bat that there seems to be rumors floating around online that WWE may be considering halting ECW as a brand and instead might go in the Superstars tv show direction format for showcasing new stars before they get onto Raw or Smackdown. Personally, I have no problem with this happening as long as Goldust, Christian, Regal and other veterans get off the show entirely and let only the new talent shine. ECW really isn't ECW without the people that MADE ECW like RVD, Sabu, Sandman, Paul Heyman, and my 2 good friends Stevie Richards and Judge Jeff Jones! I think moving to a FCW type format with occasional big Raw or Smackdown guest superstars on the show would be good. I guess we will wait and see what happens next year.

Also, after tonight's recap be sure to check back on the main site as JG returns with a brand new edition of "Mega-Watts" with guest Eric Watts. They always provide great audios together and I highly suggest you sigining up on ClubWWI.com to listen to them if you haven't already. Without any further adu, on with tonight's report...

We opened ECW with another LAME edition of the Abraham Washington Show with guests Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes. I am tired of these segments with a passion and they continue wasting mine and your time each week. They are NOT funny, NOT entertaining and NOT worth watching when there are better things to do like take a crap or clip your toenails. Anyways, this segment ended up with Zack reading lame love poems he wrote to Rosa and vice versa which made them hot for each other and they started making out on the couch to Abe and Tony's strange enjoyment to end the skit.

Goldust v.s. William Regal
Regal had a pep talk before the match with Ezekiel Jackson who apparently is still with the group some some strange damn reason after last weeks beatdown of both Regal and Kozlov. Regal told Zeke to get ready because tonight he has to team with Kozlov and take on Christian and Shelton Benjamin in the main event. Goldust and Regal wrestled a slow paced match with Regal appearing to be in control most of the time until Kozlov and Jackson began bickering at ringside causing Regal to be distracted and Goldust to slip in, roll him up and get the win.
Winner: Goldust

Backstage we had Paul Birchill beg GM Tiffany to let him back into ECW to which she told him NO. He should have won his Career v.s. Mask match against the Hurricane a few weeks ago if he wanted to still be there. Birchill stormed out past 2 new faces to the ECW brand. The Dudebusters from FCW walked into Tiffany's office to discuss their debut match coming up next!

The Dudebusters (Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta) v.s. 2 Random Jobbers
So filling the squash random jobbers segment this week is the debuting tag team known as the Dudebusters from FCW. They took over Vance Archers spot and did him justice by dismantling the jobber team for an easy win in their debut match. Nothing special based off this performance though as the crowd seemed to care less. I say give them time and hopefully they will change peoples minds.
Winner: Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta

ECW Champion Christian and Shelton Benjamin v.s. Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson
Shelton and Christain appeared to be on the same page by pulling off the upset after Zeke walked out on Kozlov who fell victim to the number one contenders finisher the "Paydirt". I am hoping that Zeke goes out on his own and becomes the dominating bad ass he appears to be. I just hope he stays away from Cena and Triple H for a while before they ruin his career like they did with Kennedy and Umaga before him.
Winners: Shelton Benjamin and Christian
