Welcome to tonights ECW recap. I've been playing Mass Effect 2 for a few hours now and am very impressed so far. I was not a fan of the first one because it felt more like work than it did playing a video game. The sequel which hit store shelves today is much better in terms of storytelling, action and graphics from what I can tell already after playing it for a little while. If you liked Assasin's Creed 2 and hated the first one then I can say this is the same example of how much Mass Effect 2 has improved compared to the first. Not the best game of all time, but a solid choice if you are into playing LONG decision making action RPG's.

Anyways, this is a WRESTLING report not a game review so I will move on from that piece of pie and go straight into tonight's show.

-

Number one contender Ezekial Jackson and William Regal come out to the ring for a promo. Big Zeke is very well spoken for a new comer, he tells Christian the normal stuff like he will beat him and take his title until Christian's music hits and he comes out to the ramp to talk to Zeke. Christian quotes some passages from the book of Ezekial in the bible. Zeke tells him he hasn't faced anyone like him yet. Christian agrees but then tells him how he has beaten everyone that has tried him so far including his pal Bill Regal. Christian tells them that he has a partner for his tag team match tonight and it's Kane from Smackdown.

Christian and Kane v.s. William Regal and Ezekial Jackson

I gotta say I am really impressed with Ezekial Jackson and think if WWE uses him correctly he can be a top level heel. His look, verbal and mannerisms are very good for a relative newcomer. I hope that WWE gives him the win over Christian at the Rumble match so he can be the guy that ECW's new direction is built around. Looking at him begs you to wonder who could actually stop him if he is unleashed.

Jackson tagged himself while Christian was setting up and hitting the Killswitch on Regal. Zeke hit his Uranage Slam on Christian to pick up the win for his team. He put his foot on Christian's head and posed signifying that he would soon be wearing the ECW title around his waist.

A nice use of Jackson in this match, he didn't look weak or out of place against the normally dominant Kane and he actually picked up a clean pinfall win over the ECW champ Christian to make his statement for Sunday's PPV.

Winners: William Regal and Ezekial Jackson

-

Vance Archer attacked Shelton Benjamin backstage as he spoke about his dream of winning the Royal Rumble and main eventing Wrestlemania.

-

Zack Ryder/Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta v.s. The Hurricane/Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust

Ryder should lead a stable with Croft and Baretta, they are so similiar that it's funny. I bet they would be successful maybe even leading to a mid card singles title for Ryder and tag team gold for the Dudebusters later this year.

It's good to see Goldust and The Hurricane in the main event for a change too as both are very fun to watch. Yoshi is exciting too but still needs to pace himself better to avoid being sloppy on some of his exchanges.

Croft and Barretta have some serious potential in my opinion as they really seem to have their characters down. Working with Goldust like this can really pay off in the long run. Just look at Sheamus for proof on that.

I have to say, this is quite the colorful match with Goldust sporting his gold, Hurrican sporting his green, Yoshi sporting white, Croft sporting yellow, Barretta sporting blue and finally Ryder sporting purple. It's like a damn bag of Skittles match.

All the men got into the ring and took turns dumping each other to the outside until Yoshi hit his right high kick to the head of Barretta to pick up the win for his team of Halloweeners.

Winners: Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust and The Hurricane
