ECW General Manager Tiffany is in the ring and brings out Shelton Benjamin and Christian to thank them for representing ECW on the TLC ppv and stealing the show in their ladder match. The men shake hands and Shelton asks for a rematch to which William Regal, Kozlov and Ezekial Jackson come out to the ring. Regal demands to be given a title match instead of Benjamin. Tiffany says that tonight will be the start of the ECW Homecoming tournament with Zack Ryder wrestling the returning Kane and Ezekial Jackson will face off against Vladimir Kozlov, and more tournament matches will be revealed later on to find out who the new number one contender will be for the ECW title at the Royal Rumble ppv. Apparently past ECW champions and current ECW superstars are eligible for this tournament.

The Ripper (Paul Birchill) v.s. The Hurricane
Birchill gets another chance for a ECW contract under a mask as the Ripper with his sister Katie Lea under a mask too calling herself The Rippette. The Hurricane continues to prove he is the the achilles heel for the Birchills as he picks up the win following a Shining Wizard. Hurricane unmasks the Ripper to see that he is who everyone thought it was all along, Paul Birchill who is visibly upset for losing again.
Winner: The Hurricane

Backstage after the commercial we saw Gregory Helms in his interviewer outfit who stopped the Birchills in the hallway and asked them about their match. Paul screamed at him and stormed off as Helms asked "Whassup with that?" and turned around to which we saw the Hurricane cape sticking out of his shirt.

Abraham Washington Show wastes my time again with another pointless segment this time with guest and Slammy Award winner for Diva of the year Maria. I really don't want to go into detail with this chat between Abe and Maria because it was dumb. Abe made jokes about Batista doing the Kanye West interrupting thing to her last night and tells her that he voted for Michelle McCool for the Slammy instead. Maria just smiled and frowned on command the entire time. FILLER at it's worst, thanks to Abe's lack of charisma.

Vladimir Kozlov v.s. Ezekial Jackson in an ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match
Regal seemed to be in Kozlov's corner for this bout at first. The two monsters trade blows until Jackson gets the advantage. When Jackson looks over at Regal to see his reaction as Kozlov attacks him from behind and begins to beat him down. As Kozlov builds momentum Regal trips him as he runs off the ropes and he turns around into Jacksons finsher the Urange Slam. Kozlov went after Regal for costing him the match only to be throw into the announcers table by both Regal and Jackson for some reason.
Winner: Ezekial Jackson

Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta v.s. Random Jobbers
Still nothing except the squash matches for the rookie team formally known as the Dudebusters in FCW. They won tonight with a new finishing move of A powerbomb/neckbreaker combo. They announced after the match that they will be next years Slammy Award winners for Tag Team of the Year.
Winners: Croft and Baretta

Zack Ryder v.s. Kane in an ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match
Rosa Mendes came out with Ryder. Zack had a real good showing against the former ECW champion and Big Red Monster Kane but unfornately Kane's power and experience proved to be too much for Ryder to overcome even with Rosa's distraction at ringside as Kane finished him with the Chokeslam.
Winner: Kane
Next week it will be Yoshi Tatsu v.s. Jack Swagger in the next round of the ECW Homecoming Tournament to see who the number one contender will be for the ECW title match at the Royal Rumble against Christian.
