Happy Holidays Everyone! This is gonna be a short recap of tonight's ECW show on SyFy due to having some last minute holiday plans this evening. Please be sure to check out my good friend and new World Wrestling Insanity contributor B-Boy's new passion filled column on the main page. Please be sure to leave B-Boy some feedback both at his Facebook and Twitter page and also on the WWI message boards. He is a really nice guy and a great asset wherever he goes in the buisness.

Jack Swagger opens the show by giving us a video package of his accomplishments in ECW when he was there. He talked about how he was gonna win the tournament and take his place back on top of ECW where he belonged. I would hope that ECW will snag him back up for their roster seeing that he is getting his ass kicked on Raw since he went there. He holds alot more value in ECW than anywhere else right now.

Tommy Dreamer v.s. Zack Ryder
Ryder came out with Rosa Mendes once again and defeated Dreamer with his Zack Attack finisher in what could be Tommy Dreamers last match ever on ECW. Time will tell if this is the way he goes out or not. If Dreamer ends up in TNA then it will be official that TNA has or could have the ENTIRE original ECW roster on their show. They could sign RVD and Paul Heyman in an attempt to start an inside war between the TNA guys and ECW. It could be great if done correctly.
Winner: Zack Ryder

Another HORRIBLE Abraham Washington show was up next with his guests the new ECW tag team Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft aka The Dudebusters. They made lame Tiger Woods jokes to which no one laughed except Tony Atlas. WASTE OF TIME!

Goldust v.s. Vance Archer (ECW Homecoming tournament match)
I wish Goldust would be given more TV time again. If Booker T ends up coming back to WWE next year than I would hope that WWE pairs the two up again seeing as they were my favorite odd couple since Snitsky and Heidenreich. Vance Archer gets the win after hitting his Reverse DDT.
Winner: Vance Archer

Yoshi Tatsu v.s. Jack Swagger (ECW Homecoming tournament match)
Swagger used his All American wrestling ability to control Yoshi for most of the match. Jack dominated the majority of the match until Yoshi suprised him with his High Kick of death finisher to take the win and move on in the tourney. I was really hoping for Swagger to win and eventually make it to the finals because I think he would be best suited to be moved back to ECW at this moment in time since Raw is not helping his career right now.
Winner: Yoshi Tatsu
All in all a decent show. Next week we will see the return to ECW of both Evan Bourne and Matt Hardy which should be interesting. Until then have a Merry Christmas everyone!
