RDLee's ECW Report - Who Will ECW Champion Christian Defend His Title Against Next?

By RDLee Oct 6, 2009 - 9:22 PM

Welcome to tonight's ECW report on SyFy. Be sure to check out James Guttman's latest audio "Mega Watts" with co-host Eric Watts as they welcomed one of the most talked about and wanted guests ever in the history of WWI, "The Total Package" Lex Luger! This is an audio event you NEED to hear to believe. So head over to the Club and sign up for only $5 a month to start listening to JG's unreal Radio Free Insanities and MUCH MORE!

-

We began tonights show with William Regal coming out to the ring with his Ruthless Roundtable stablemates Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekial Jackson. Regal begins pleading his case for why he should be wrestling for the ECW title tonight as Zack Ryder's music interupts Regal. Ryder basically tells Regal that he is the rightful number one contender and was screwed out of getting his rematch last week when William was GM for the night. As they are verbally fighting over who should get a title shot, ECW champion Christian comes out on the ramp with Yoshi Tatsu, Tony Atlas, and some random guy dressed like a janitor. Then he basically tells Ryder and Regal that each person he brought out with him is more worthy of a title shot than either of them. ECW GM Tiffany made her return and says that she isn't sure who the number one contender is yet but in the mean time Zack Ryder will get his rematch promised last week tonight and Regal will be wrestling against Yoshi Tatsu!

Ezekial Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov v.s. Tommy Dreamer and Goldust

Team Regal picks up the win over The Bizarre One and the ECW original when Big Zeke planted Tommy Dreamer with his Uranage Slam for the 3 count.

Winners: Ezekial Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov

-

ECW GM Tiffany was backstage talking to Regal about how ECW might be able to snag John Cena for their roster if he loses his Iron Man match to Randy Orton at Bragging Rights. Regal kissed her butt most of the segment to no reaction.

-

William Regal v.s. Yoshi Tatsu

Tatsu hit many of his unique offense during the match but the veteran Regal kept Tatsu at bay most of the match. Regal charged for his running Knee however a suprise counter of the High Right Kick was planted on Williams head by Yoshi and spelled the end of the match although Regal's foot was under the ropes which should set the scene for some drama on next weeks show.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu

-

ECW Championship - Champion Christian v.s. Challenger Zack Ryder

This match never had a clear cut winner as Regal Roundtable attacked Christian causing him to win by DQ but also costing Ryder his chance at becoming champ. Kozlov and Jackson decided to beat down Ryder as well to end the show standing tall over their demolished rivals.

Winner by DQ and STILL ECW Champion: Christian
