Welcome to tonights ECW report on SyFy. Tonight we will be seeing Mask v.s. Career when Paul Birchill puts his ECW career on the line versus the Hurricane who will be forced to unmask should he lose. Let's get this show on the road because for me, tonight is Left 4 Dead 2 night and I can't wait to play thru it some more... and maybe toss in a hour or two of the AWESOME new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360 in which site master, James Guttman can agree that this game in unbelievably addictiing!

We started off the show with Zack Ryder talking in ring with Rosa Mendes. Ryder pleads his case and begs her to be in his corner from now on. He then calls out Shelton Benjamin who hits the ring. They begin talking smack back and forth until Ryder cheap shotted Shelton across the face and exited the ring with Rosa. This should lead to a match between the 2 next week on ECW.

Mask v.s. Career -
The Hurricane v.s. Paul Birchill
These two have had quite the rivaly over the last few months. Each time they faced off Hurricane would have the last laugh and continue to taunt Birchill by refusing to admit his true identity was the backstage reporter Gregory Helms. After Paul finally layed down the challenge by putting his ECW career on the line to have a match with Hurricane where if he lost he must unmask and reveal himself. The match was alot longer than their previous clashes and the finish came when the Hurricane hit a wicked top rope flying neckbreaker on Paul for the 3 count and win. Paul is now a free agent and no longer part of ECW, one would assume that Smackdown will be his next home so his sister Katie Lea can join the women's division. Time will tell what happens but for now the Hurricane is safe from losing his mask.
Winner: The Hurricane

Vance Archer v.s. Random Jobber Of The Week
Lance Hoyt... I mean Vance Archer is making a name for himself each week in ECW by destoying locals to show off his incredible agression. The fans still are unsure whether or not to give him any heat even though he is in the same boat the Raw's Sheamus was in when he debuted earlier in the year. If Archer continues showcasing himself with these easy matches then hopefully he will appear to be a favorite in a fued with someone like Tommy Dreamer, Goldust or The Hurricane. Archer picked up the win after hitting his nice Reverse DDT.
Winner: Vance Archer

CM Punk and William Regal v.s. ECW Champion Christian and R-Truth
In an effort to put over this Sunday's Survivor Series PPV, ECW went ahead and borrowed CM Punk and R-Truth from Smackdown to help enhance their 5 on 5 match coming up. A very back and forth match in which the babyfaces actually appeared to be heading towards picking up the win when suddenly all 4 men began brawling and Regal hit a Knee Trembler to the head of the ECW champ, Christian and CM Punk being the legal man followed up with a Go 2 Sleep to win the match for the heel tandem. It was a fun match in the same veign of Raw's triple threat team main event in which further pushes the matches on the PPV to seem more important. I still don't know if it's enough to convince me to order but I will wait and see what Smackdown has to offer this Friday.
Winners: William Regal and CM Punk

And also as promised... the following is a super funny pic and is from my mom who was being brave and funny at the same time by asking him to do this. The whole story is that my Mom watched a football game at a local place in Florida and happened to see former ECW star and current Smackdown star Mike Knox sitting there watching the game. She said he was very kind and friendly and took both a personal picture with her, signed an autograph to my daughter Tori and then actually laughed out loud when my Mom asked him to hold an RDLee = Ratings sign so she could take a picture for me. So low and behold, the latest known fan of RDLee has finally appeared and I am so happy that he was cool enough to make my weekend with this picture...
Thanks to Mike Knox for being such a class act and also thanks to my Mom whom I love dearly!
