I wasn't expecting perfection. I'd have settled for a few moments of nostalgia, a warm fuzzy, and some good new matches. Instead, I've had to hit the bottle of migraine pills just to get through the rest of this review.
I am tired of these segments with a passion and they continue wasting mine and your time each week. They are NOT funny, NOT entertaining and NOT worth watching when there are better things to do like take a crap or clip your toenails...
"The Abraham Washington Show" with guest Matt Hardy was another waste of my time... I grew tired of these segments nearly 2 weeks after he debuted and Matt Hardy proved that he can make a already bad segment even worse by sucking it up on the microphone.
Gregory Helms takes a break from killing zombies on Left 4 Dead to put on the costume once again, this time to take on his arch rival on ECW known as Pirate.... I mean Paul Birchill with his sister Ariel... I mean Katie Lea.
The part time ECW backstage announcer made his return tonight as the masked superhero we all knew and loved. He once again put the mask back on to triumph over the evil Paul Birchill with the Eye of The Hurricane finisher.
We get a new face on ECW post "rape" as Jason pointed out on the boards... Shelton Benjamin took him lightly and began mocking his Japanese lineage and started bowing down to him.... And as soon as he stood up Yoshi kicked him in the head with a high kick and pinned him for the win in his ECW debut match! Yoshi was incredibly happy after he got the 3 count and ran around the ring in shock.
I thought Strikers commentary for this match was great, he even called Tyson "Dynamite" Kidd, which I agree about the comparison. A lot of great action after the referee ejected DH and Nattie from ringside. The match went back and forth with Bourne selling his injured ribs. Eventually Evan hit his Shooting Star Press for the clean win.
