The Heat Report: Carlito vs. York, London vs. Haas, Maria vs. Jillian

...

Welcome, WWI readers, to another week, and another HEAT!

Paul London is flying solo tonight, he'll be taking on Charlie Haas, mano-e-mano. Lillian Garcia announces Haas as ½ of the World's Greatest Tag Team, and John Coachmen pretty much calls her stupid , because she doesn't know apparently that Shelton Benjamin went ECW on 'em (I don't see how that affects a Webshow that lacks an actual defined roster, but I'll play along Coach).

Haas and London lock-up in the middle, but Paul is taken to the corner. ½ of Londrick shoves ½ of the worlds greatest away, they lock up again and Haas is taken to the opposite corner. Another lock-up, and Lodnon makes an interesting flip while holding a headlock. He then is sent off the ropes by Haas, London slides under his legs, jumps up and hits another flip on Haas. Haas gets a suplex in, but Paul slaps on a choke with his legs. Haas tries to get a headlock on, but it's London who manages to break it off. Off the top rope and London MISSES what could have been a match ender. He does, however, get that same flip move on Charles again. Haas whips London into the corner, charges at him and London leaps over Haas and takes Charlie down. Twice in a row, does Haas get the better of Kendricks Tag Team Partner, managing to miss London's assault off the ropes.

Haas HAD control until Paul gets in a group of hip-tosses. He also gets a kick to Haas' face in, and Charlie rolls outside. The High Flying London almost dives outside the ring, but catches himself on the apron as Haas sprints back into the ring. Paul does fly back into the ring, taking down Charlie and scores a 2-count. London gets whipped to the corner, but when Haas charges at him, he finds an elbow to the face from Paul. ½ Londrick Goes up quick to fly high, and it BACKFIRES, Haas grabs his ARM mid-air, and goes into a submission move! Charles keeps the pressure on London's shoulder, slams London down to the mat and gets a 2-count. London has lost all his momentum, and Haas keeps wearing down Paul's arm and shoulder. London does get up, tries to fight off The Worlds Greatest Tag Partner, but Paul will be shoved into the corner. Haas continues the work-down, wearing down the shoulder in various ways. Paul gets to his feet, shoves Haas to the corner and gets some hits in but Haas is still in control. Haas goes for a big move, London slides off, drops Haas neck-first across the top rope. Atomic drop from London, and Paul starts using his speed, dropkicks, and various flips to get back in the match. He only gets a 2 count. The crowd is DEAD, not for the 2-count, but I mean, during that whole, slowly regaining control, where the crowd usually is screaming, nothing. Charlie Haas goes for a Suplex, and London lands on his feet, roll-up and a 2-count. London gets a kick to the mid-section, jumps to the tope rope, but botches it! He gets tripped up, falls flat on his arm, and Haas scores the 3-count. Two refs and a trainer are over Paul London, checking him arm. I'm wondering if Paul really screwed up something…do you need to sell this kinda stuff on the Webshow?

That was a LONG match, especially for HEAT. It was an okay match in my view, Haas was doing a whole lot of working down the shoulder and arm of London, and that sort of dragged it down a notch. Still decent, though.

Carlito makes his way to the ring. Carly is taking on Christian... I can't even be sure what his last name is. It almost sounded like Dark? Maybe Dork? Dorke? I think it was York. Coachmen confirms, Christian "Not Cage" York.

Carlito shoves Christian York to the corner, York shoves him off and the actually go into some real back and forth hits. The action is taken to the outside, not for long though, Lito shoves York back into the ring, goes to the apron, hits a missle dropkick and scores a 2-count. Carly with a head-lock, York powers out, gets hits to Lito's stomach. Carlito then gets violent, starts hitting the kid all over the ring, but wow, York fights out, shoves Carlito to the corner, kicks him down, rams into Carly shoulder first, and scores a two-count. York sends Carlito up, Lito fights out into the Backstabber, and scores the 3-count.

Wow. I'm gonna say this, that was actually good, just because it didn't feel like a squash. Carlito got cocky in area's and Christian York cashed in during those moments, and hit some impressive moves. I can't believe it, but I hope we see him around in the future.

Oh my god, HEAT's Main Event is Jillian Hall vs. Maria. Jillian makes her way to the ring, she won't sing though (Thank you God). Maria, oh yes. The only reason to even continue watching at this point, is just to see Maria, right? Jillian goes right to work on Maria's arm. NOTE: Maria is wearing short leopard tights, WATCH HEAT!

Jillian hits a backbreaker , smacks the beautiful Maria's head into the corner, and slams her face to the mat. Kick to the face, a scream from Jillian, but Maria isn't down yet. She gets a few hits in…and…now she's down. Jillian shoved her. Jillian working on the arms again. Maria fights it off, clotheslines Ms. Hall, whips her into the corner, hits a monkey flip from. Sends her flying into the other corner, Bronco Buster, picks up Jillian and drops her, grabs a 2-count. Jillian sends Maria head first into the mat and scores the 3-count.

This match w---who cares, all you wanna see is Maria in short leopard tights.

Overall…HEAT was ok. A really long opener which, should have been the main event, had some decent action. Carlito vs. Christian York should have been made longer and the main event, but I guess, yeah, there's just not enough story there. I really enjoyed that match, for as short as it was. The Main Event was surprisingly the DIVAs match, and I'm not sure I could call the outing decent. While Maria is sexier than hell, that's about all you take from that match.

And that, my friends, is it. As always, I appreciate comments and criticisms. You know the drill, I'm on the forums (as the_nWo), or you can get me by e-mail ( BrothaFritz@gmail.com ). Thanks for reading, cya next HEAT.
