TNA Impact! I'm Here. Are You?
Tonight's Impact starts with Mr. Anderson walking out to the ring with a steel chair in hand. He introduces Jeff Hardy and out pops the Charismatic Enigma. Anderson tells Hardy that last week's chair shot was not on purpose. He said if it were on purpose then he would be bragging about it because he is an A**hole. He says he is going to bring a chair to the ring for tonight's match with Hardy. If he uses it, the Jeff knows he has a problem with him. If Jeff uses it, then Anderson knows he has a problem with him. AJ Styles is talking in the locker room about having to prove himself against Kazarian tonight. Commercial. Kazarian is out to the ring first for his match against AJ Styles. AJ is out next and he hurries to the ring and this match starts while AJ's pyro is still pouring in the background. Ric Flair walks out onto the ramp to watch this match in person. The match gets taken to the arena floor and ends in a countout as both men scramble to get back in the ring. Back in the ring, both guys brawl and Flair gets in the ring and tells them to get united if they want to be part of Fortune. He tells them they have a tag match at Victory Road and if they don't win, then they're out. He didn't tell them their opponents. Backstage, Angelina Love is shown changing into her ring attire. Commercial. Daffney is awaiting Angelina Love in the ring as we come back from commercial break. This match comes to an end when Angelina Love hits an odd looking Pay Dirt finisher. She grabs the mic and tells Madison Rayne that she will become the first ever 4-time TNA Knockouts Champion. Out comes Madison and she tells Angelina that if she has to put up her TNA Knockout's Title, the Angelina should put her career on the line. Angelina accepts and tells Madison that she had a meeting with the championship committee and had a stipulation added to the match. If Lacey or Velvet get involved at all, then Madison will be DQ'd and the title will go over to Angelina Love. Commercial. In the ring, Devon has a mic and calls out Brother Ray to join him and Ink Inc. Bubba takes a stroll down the ramp. Devon asks him why he has a problem with Jesse Neal. Bubba says that he doesn't answer to Devon and that he is the leader of Team 3D and that Devon answers to him. He says that both Devon and Jesse Ray are both disrespectful and unloyal. At Victory Road, Bubba will face Jesse Neal and Devon in a 3-way match. Commercial. Back from the break, we get Samoa Joe vs RVD. This is an incredibly intense matchup. Right from the start, RVD hits Joe with a kick to the face. He goes for the 5-star frogsplash, but Joe gets up and tosses RVD off the top rope and face first onto the ramp. Out comes Tommy Dreamer, Rhyno, Stevie Richards, and Raven into the crowd. This momentarily takes alot of attention away from the match and its a shame because this is a great matchup. This match ends when Samoa Joe puts RVD in a rear naked choke. RVD fights back up and flips off the turnbuckle and pins Joe down while still in the choke. RVD gets the 3-count for the win. After the match, Joe slaps the referee and gives him the Muscle Buster. Backstage, Kurt Angle is talking about fighting his way up the TNA Top 10. Commercial. In the Impact Zone, Jeremy Buck and Douglas Williams are facing off in a ladder match next. Williams plays up that he is afraid of heights and can't climb the ladder. Jeremy Buck gets the win as he is the only one able to climb the ladder. Williams goes nuts after the match and throws the ring out of the ring. Commercial. Backstage, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have a little movie about how Beer Money are a couple of tools and how parents should educate their children about them. The next match is Beer Money and Matt Morgan against The Machine Guns and Hernandez in a 6-man tag match. This match breaks down when Matt Morgan leaves the ring side area when Hernandez gets tagged in. Hernandez takes off and chases him backstage. Robert Roode gets the win after he counters a cross body pin attempt into a roll through. Backstage, The Pope talks about how he doesn't trust Mr. Anderson. Commercial. Kevin Nash is waiting for Eric Bischoff. Hogan walks in and tells Nash that he was wrong for how he brought in Hall and Waltman. Jay Lethal is in the ring for some face time. He tells Flair that he is going to rip his heart out at Victory Road. He tells his ill mother at home that he loves her very much and that she will be proud after Victory Road. Out comes Ric Flair. Flair says he doesn't care about Lethal's mother. He tells Lethal he doesn't belong in the same world as him and that he is Lethal's god. Commercial. Back from the break, Mr. Anderson makes his way to the ring for tonight's main event match with Jeff Hardy. As promised, he is carrying the steel chair to the ring with him. Out next is Jeff Hardy. The real intrigue of this match is whether or not one of these guys goes for the chair. At the end of the match, Anderson went up top for the Swanton Bomb, but missed. Hardy bounced up and hit the Twist of Fate for the win. After the match, Jeff checks on Anderson and out comes Abyss with the 2x4 full of nails. The referee takes the weapon from Abyss and Hardy and Anderson double team the monster. Abyss knocks them both down and chokeslams Hardy and nails Anderson with a big boot. He then reaches for the 2x4 and attempts to hit Anderson with it. Anderson ducks it and it gets stuck in the turnbuckle. Out comes RVD, who is immediately thrown back out of the ring by Abyss. Anderson re-emerges with the chair and hits Abyss with it. RVD then gets back in and hits the Van Daminator to knock Abyss out of the ring. RVD, Hardy, and Anderson all shake hands in the ring. That's it for this week. I won't be here next week, but somebody else will be.
