In the back, Hogan is talking to Bischoff about Abyss.
Madison Rayne is talking to Velvet Sky about Angelina Love and Velvet looks worried.
The first match of the night is Angelina Love against the lovely Velvet Sky. Raise your hands if you love you some Velvet Sky! You best believe both my hands are up way high. Velvet hits the Skyliner but doesn't go for the pin. She picks Angelina up and Love hits a big boot and goes for a chair on the outside. She hits a big boot again as Velvet gets up and places the chair on the mat. Velvet gets up and rakes Angelina's eyes and throws her down. She realizes the chair is in the ring and picks up Angelina for a DDT, but it is reversed and Angelina hits the DDT. Velvet Sky gets the win via DQ. Madison Rayne makes her way to the ramp and taunts Angelina with the Knockout Title.
In the locker room, Jay Lethal gets a surprise visit from his brother.
In the hallway, Nash is telling EY that he had to distance himself from Hall and Kid. They end their partnership and go their seperate ways.
The Blueprint Matt Morgan makes his way to the ring for some face time. He says that he doesn't sweat Hernandez and calls him out. Taz tells us that Hernandez is in Mexico doing PR work for TNA. Morgan then says Hernandez sweats Morgan. He hypes the cage match at Victory Road between the two of them. Homicide makes his way through the crowd and attacks Morgan. The Blueprint quickly gains the upperhand and lays out Homicide with a Carbon Footprint against the ring post.
AJ catches up to Flair and asks him about a package, but Flair tells him to forget about the package.
Kazarian makes his way to the ring for action. Jay Lethal then makes his way out. He needs a different big screen graphic and entrance music. It is way too generic. This match is very high impact and quick. I love watching the X-Division style. I know it's a little gimmicky, but I don't care. They cut to the backstage area, where Flair and AJ are beating down Lethal's brother. Back in the ring, Lethal is catching fire without the knowledge of what's happening in the back. He hits the Lethal Injection for the win and climbs into the crowd to celebrate. Flair then comes on the big screen and shows AJ beating up his brother. Lethal then sprints up the ramp and to the back.
Jeff Jarrett is shown walking in the back toward the Impact Zone. His music hits and he makes his way down the ramp. Out next is "The Icon" Sting, but he doesn't appear on the stage. Jarrett looks around the arena and the spotlights pans the rafters and finds him starring down. Jarrett makes his way to the rafter stairs and ascends to meet the Stinger. He catches up to him and beats him up on the way down the stairs. In the ring, the real Sting is waiting, but Jarrett doesn't realize he is attacking a fake Sting. The real Sting chokes Double J with the baseball bat and then beats him down with it. Didn't WCW do something like this about 10 years ago? Ok...just checking. He grabs a mic and tells Jarrett that if he's going to walk with them, then he's going to go down with them.
In the ring, Desmond Wolfe is yelling at Chelsea. He awaits Kurt Angle for this one on one contest. These two had a good feud at the end of last year and this match should be very good. Kurt Angle is attempting to work his way up the TNA Top 10, and Wolfe is Number 9. Chelsea is shown on the outside continuously shaking her head at Desmond. When Wolfe goes to yell at her some more, she yells back at him. As they argue back and forth, Kurt Angle takes advantage of a distracted Desmond Wolfe and gains control. He nails the Angle Slam and applies the Ankle Lock and gets the tap out. Chelsea has a big smile on her face. Next up is Number 8, which at this point is The Pope.
Mr. Anderson is in the back lacing up his boots and talking about tonight's Falls Count Anywhere match with Abyss.
Douglas Williams is in the ring talking about Brian Kendrick's attack last week. He says that he needs to re-educate the X-Division wrestlers on professionalism. He calls out Brian Kendrick, and out comes Kendrick. He grabs a microphone and says he will be facing Williams in an Ultimate X match that can also end in submission at Victory Road. As Kendrick is walking away, Williams goes for a cheap shot, but Kendrick ducks it and puts Williams in a submission hold.
Abyss is talking to himself in the back about "Them" telling him to destroy everybody in his path.
In the back, Shannon Moore is brawling with Brother Ray as Jesse Neal is laid out. Security is trying to break it up and Devon come into the picture and gets in Ray's face about making a fool out of him.
Out comes Beer Money to the ring for the finals of the Tag Team tournament. The Machine Guns are doing guest commentary. Next, Shannon Moore makes his way to the ring for the match by himself. As the match starts, Moore uses his quickness to take out both members of Beer Money. Tommy Dreamer is shown walking amongst the crowd, but this time he has Raven and Steven Richards with him. Beer Money gains the upper hand as they wear down the solo Shannon Moore. Jesse Neal stumbles his way down the ramp to join his tag team partner. Shannon fights his way back into the match and makes the tag. Neal comes in and catches fire until James Storm sneaks a swig of beer and spits it in his face. Beer Money hits the DWI for the win. Beer Money advances to Victory Road to face the Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Team Titles.
AJ and Kazarian are shown talking in the locker room area about who is better. AJ sees that his package has come in and he tears into it. He pulls out the new AJ Styles action figure and gets super excited about playing with himself.
Out first for the Falls Count Anywhere main event is Abyss. Out next is Miiiiiiiiiiissssstttttteeeeerrrrrrr Andersooooooonnnnnn. He hits the ring hard and jumps on Abyss at the opening bell. Abyss rolls out and Anderson follows him. He grabs a chair from a fan at ringside, but Abyss punches the chair back into Anderson's face. Back in the ring, Abyss sets up the chair. He pounds on Anderson and attemps to throw him into the chair, but Anderson reverses in and drop toe holds him face first into the chair. Anderson grabs the chair and lays Abyss out. He then sets up the chair between the turnbuckles. As he tries to toss Abyss into the corner, Abyss reverses it and Anderson ducks the chair and slides to the outside and under the ring. He emerges with a kendo stick and begins to attack Abyss on the outside of the ring. Abyss ducks one of the shots and tosses Anderson into the the side of the ramp. He exposes the concrete at ringside and goes for a chokeslam, but Anderson breaks it up and and rolls back into the ring. Abyss grabs the chair and slams it down on Anderson as he gets back in the ring. As Abyss tries to stomp on Anderson, he gets a chair to the crotchal region. He quickly regains as Anderson goes for the Swanton Bomb and hits the Shock Treatment for the win. As Anderson is crawling back up the ramp, Abyss stalks him and grabs him on the stage. He picks up Anderson for a body slam, but Anderson fights out of it. Anderson goes for the Mic Check off the stage, but Abyss turns it around and chokeslams Anderson off the stage. Hogan sneaks up behind and hits Abyss with a chair, but it doesn't phase him. Security runs out, but Abyss tosses them down the ramp and points at Hogan as we go off the air.
That's it for this week. Thanks for joining me and I'll see you for next week's TNA Impact.
