"Had Cena not been injured, I would have voted for him, despite the fact that the fans either love him or hate him. However, I am voting for Jeff Hardy, because people truly pop for the "Rainbow Haired Warrior" every time he comes out. He is truly amazing to watch in the ring, and I am always shocked at the innovative ways he comes up with to do damage to his opponent (and to his own body as well.) I hope he has finally put his personal problems with addiction aside and continue entertaining wrestling fans for years to come."

"You could have everyone on the roster come out and beat the hell out of Jeff Hardy each week and he’d still get cheered. It doesn’t matter what you do, Jeff hardy will be loved forever. And his matches are getting better and better as well. You can see a renewed strength in his eyes, and watching him is breathtaking still. Hell, even I’m staring to like him."

"John Cena wasn't as divisive a wrestler in 2007 as he was in 2006, but he still isn't a complete babyface. Jeff Hardy, on the other hand, remains consistently over as a babyface no matter what he does and no matter how he is booked. Now, Hardy looks to be on the verge of a major push. We'll see if he finally lives up to the promise many have always seen in him and makes the most of how over he is as a babyface."

"WWE really wasn't ready for the ridiculous injuries, but Jeff Hardy managed to steer clear of trouble (I think at least) and hell...anytime he walks out, the crowd goes nuts."

"You can cheer as much as you like for anyone, but there is an element out there that will boo you if you are up against Jeff Hardy right now. And the WWE have noticed it by giving him this push now. And according to reports it would have happened in the summer if not for a wellness violation. The guy beat a wellness depush, he's THAT over!"

"I can't really explain it. Why in the world is Hardy getting multiple Intercontinental title reigns? Why is Hardy getting PPV victories over Triple H? Why is Hardy defeating the world champion in an effort to set-up his PPV world title match?
The fans.
You cannot deny how "over" Hardy has been all year. The only reason...the ONLY reason...Hardy has been given this mind-boggling singles push is because the fans have demanded it, making him the most popular wrestler on any WWE program.
Cena gets booed almost as much as he's cheered. Triple H still draws the ire of those who hate his lame DX persona. Shawn Michaels is popular, but not like he used to be. Not even the Undertaker can get a crowd to respond once his entrance is over quite like Hardy can.
2007 has been the year of Jeff Hardy. Enjoy it while you can cause it ain't gonna last."
