Reader Comments:

" I HATED them at first (not in the "right" way either).  But, they totally grew on me and they proved they can not only entertain, but they proved they can work as a unit.  *Now watch WWE go and split them up* "
- Oran "Big O" Minikus

"They are the most untouchable tag team in all of wrestling. The Dirt Sheet is hilarious, they give excellent matches, and they have undeniable charisma. The Grand Mizard of Wrestling and Peanut Butta and Johnny deserve Tag Team gold and another shot to dethrone DX as the greatest tag team."
- Capncrunch

"These guys were on every WWE program (I even think I saw them make a couple of brief appearances on Impact). But that wasn't a bad thing. They held both the WWE and World Tag team titles in the same year.I used to hate these two and they grew on me and now I'm a fan."
- J.T.

"I really wanted to give it to the MCMGs...but TNA as done everything in their power to make me not like them...so yeah...guess it worked. Stay classy TNA!"
- Antoine

"Amazingly entertaining tandem, and the fact they are focused prominently on all three shows just proves their importance to the WWE."
-Zmanjets

"There is no contest, not any team comes close to the definition of a true tag team like the Miz and Morrison. They have the attitude and persona that has elevated them to the level of a lot of the great teams. Voting for any one else is a tragedy."
- Adam Airforce

Staff Comments:

"Normally, I sit back and wait to break ties.   In this case, I had it figured out beforehand who I would vote for if that happens here.   It didn't come to that though as John Morrison and The Miz blew everyone away in a landslide.   I'll tell you this much – go back.   Look at Mike the Miz reading the Diva Search sales pitch off the back of his wrist.   Listen to Morrison's promos being mocked by Jeff Hardy as paint drying.   OK.   Then watch them now…and get blown away.   I haven't seen two randomly matched guys have this much chemistry as a team in a long time.   Two Reality Show dudes rise to the top.  Alongside Hogan and Trump, they could create some bizarre top level stable."
-
James Guttman

" Sure they didn't accomplish much like winning tag title after tag title or having extremely lengthy reigns but Miz and Morrison have jelled as a tag team more so than any other team of singles wrestlers paired together since Edge and Christian in the glory years. They work like magic when they are teaming and this combination has made Miz go from obnoxious heel to very good worker obnoxious heel. He has really developed by teaming with Morrison."
- Matt Dawgs

" Now listen, this ain’t no  make-believe.   Miz and Morrison continue to entertain both in and out of the ring.  They’re not a spectacular team like the Briscoes but they are consistently good and I’m still amazed at the transformation the Miz has made from “Get off my TV” to that Douchebag you just love to hate.   Sometimes these guys are a little too cute for their own good (injuring a babyface would be a good way to cement their heel standing) but they’re the best thing going in the WWE tag team ranks"
- Mike Rickard

"I never thought I’d be voting for Miz in anything positive, but I can’t deny how much these two have gelled into a formidable and exciting team. Not only are their matches enjoyable, but they are one of the best heel teams to come around in years. Even DX burials couldn’t stop their momentum. If they stay together next year, hopefully they’ll lead the resurgence of tag team wrestling. "
- James Bullock

" Miz and Morrison are a duo that has grown on me this year.  While I never had a problem with The Miz (a standout on those Real Word/Road Rules competitions), I could never get past Tough Enough Morrison.  They've turned into a solid team and definitely deserve the title belts."
- Mallory Mahling

"For me, in terms of pure entertainment, with a pair of guys who have worked hard all year, I've got to go for Miz & Morrison.  And call them "two singles guys" all you want, but how many teams in history didn't come together as a pair of singles guys in the beginning and yet are considered as great teams?"

- Aaron Wood

"Finally a tag team (in WWE, at least) that are actually dedicated to old-school tag team wrestling... but with a 2008 spin on things. Whether it was against DX, Cryme Tyme, Jesse and Festus or whatever random team they could find to fight on ECW, these guys took the proverbial ball and ran with it. I'm not surprised at all that they're on the "main" show now with tag team gold ."
- Canadian Bulldog
