Insanity Readers and Staff Choose: 2005's Tag Team of the Year
Well, the votes are in. This one was very close on the Staff side, but pretty decisive on the reader side. So who takes it? Who's cuisine reigns supreme? Let's check the Reader's Choice first:
2005 Reader's Choice for Tag Team of the Year... MNM
2nd Place: America's Most Wanted 3rd Place: Kane and Big Show Reader Comments: "Slim pickings here, but they have done the modt with the least push. All the Jarrett fan boys will crawl out of the walls to vote for America's Most Wanted, but the only thing cool about them is their name and they are totally stale. MNM get jobbed all the time and over shadowed by their piece of ass manager, but they stay over and have avoided McMahon's hatchet unlike every other tag team that gets slapped together 1 week and split up the next week (can you say Cade and Murdoch?)" - Matthew Roberts "I'll go with they only REAL team...MNM." - Antoine Quintal-Léonard "They have good chemistry together, something lacking in most of today's tag teams." - Ric Carnahan From there, we go to... 2005 Insanity Staff's Choice for Tag Team of the Year... America's Most Wanted

3rd Place: Team 3D Staff Comments: "WWE doesn't believe in tag teams anymore and the recent man-handling of MNM proves that. AMW went from beloved "good ol' boys" to Double J's stooges and have done so with ease. Plus, they can actually wrestle." - ZAH "WWE doesn’t respect its division enough for any of its teams to win this award. MNM should be a contender, but they’ve been booked into oblivion. AMW has consistently delivered good to great matches in TNA, all year long. They’re also excellent in their role as heels during the last part of the year" - Eugene Sandow "I really wanted to vote for Cade & Murdoch. They could've done so much with these guys, but as usual, when they have something good, WWE screws it up and breaks them up after almost nothing. AMW wins for being one of the only real tag teams left. The tag division is the worst thing to think about if you are a wrestling fan, it makes you realize how much is missing from today's wrestling landscape. And the enjoyment you will never get as a fan anymore." - Celian Varini (WWE Pay-Per-Views) Check back for the results of the rest of our Reader and Staff Awards (Wrestler of the Year and Match of the Year).
