"Batista goes heel. Shawn Michaels retires. Bret Hart appears at Wrestlemania, but just waves from ringside. Lawler retires from announcing. Undertaker still won't retire, despite how fans aren't buying into the "dead-man" gimmick anymore. Chris Benoit leaves WWE. Flair will take on a Freddie Blassie role after being forced out of the ring. Matt Hardy will be fired. Kane related storyline hurts another person's career. Bischoff will return as a commentator for Heat with the fat Tony Schiavone. Another Diva Search, sadly. And finally, Vince admits he stole the whole roster split idea from the NFL, but won't admit he doesn't know what the hell he's doing."
- Ian Hunter (Insanity Trivia)

"- Randy Orton will become WWE champion.
- Samoe Joe will become NWA champion.
- Bobby Lashley will become U.S. champion.
- Chris Masters will become Intercontinental champion.
- There will be at least two more WWE wrestlers who will defect (i.e. not be fired) to TNA.
- TNA will get a weekly prime-time spot on Spike.
- ROH will lose at least five "main event" wrestlers to WWE and/or TNA."
- ZAH

"TNA’s acquisition of Sting doesn’t change the wrestling world, reliable rumors circulate that the Carters are thinking about pulling out of the venture.  HHH defeats John Cena for the Raw title at Wrestlemania.  JBL turns babyface and is very over in the role."
- Eugene Sandow

"Triple H regains the title at WM22 against John Cena. - JR comes back as commentator. - A lot of '80s icon die and we all cry. - WWE does not bring in Rick Martel as Sylvan's manager. I shake my head at their ineptitude. - WWE does nothing with the CW belt or any of the tag belts. - Samoa Joe makes Jeff Jarrett wrestle his first 4 star match in a long time. - A lot of guys leave the sinking ship that is WWE for TNA or greener pastures. - Spanky, Nunzio, Jamie Noble etc wonder why they came back. - Matt Hardy cries himself to sleep most of the year. - A pregnant Stephanie is featured prominently on TV this year. - ROH does not up its game at all in the sound or lights department and still wonder why they can't break the barrier. - Jack Evans remains a virtual unknown to everyone in the world, and that fact still remains the biggest missed opportunity for any wrestling promotion to make money. - Homicide becomes world champion. "
- Celian Varini (WWE Pay-Per-Views)

"Hunter beats Cena at WrestleMania.  Everyone who's on Velocity right now who has been with the company for a year or more will be fired.  Same thing for Heat - all except Val Venis.  He's work a mid-year tag program and then go back to the B-Show.  Maybe they'll change his trunks or something.   Steven Richards will remain with the company too.  They'll put him in a dress a few times.  Ric Flair will turn bright red and stay that way for most of the year.  WWE will release 359 DVDs.  Most of them will be about stuff a lot of people forgot, thus making it easier to lie about.   There will be a book released called "World Wrestling Insanity."  I will send a copy of it to Titan Tower."
