"As for what 2008 will bring, I fully predict that TNA will continue to flounder with people constantly being unhappy about their positions and TNA will continue to do nothing about it. They will still bring in former WWE names and push them as stars while the good workers will be misused. Many of them will leave for ROH, Mexico, Japan and WWE and become successes outside of TNA.

Meanwhile, over in WWE, John Cena will come back and be super over with the fans, recapture his title and main event as if he never left. Hulk Hogan will wrestle in a WWE ring. At least one major TNA name will be in WWE. CM Punk will be moved to RAW and pushed as a mid carder. Someone who has recently left WWE in the past two years will come back full time (either Trish Stratus, Lita, Steve Austin). WWE will gain back some of the audience that bailed the past few years. Chris Benoit's name will be mentioned on TV again."
- Matt Dawgs

"1.  TNA will do the same 1.1 rating every week they have done for years.  TNA management will blame the lack of ratings growth on not having 3 hours for Impact.  Despite losing tons of money TNA will still continue to hire every washed up, drugged out, has been that Vince McMahon fires (see Booker T).  Gimmick matches will be over used on every show and nothing will pop a rating or buy rate.

2.  Ric Flair will retire without dignity for the 20th time after Wrestlemania.  Internet smarks will whine and cry that Flair's 20th and final retirement was sabotaged by the usual suspects (Michaels / Hunter / Vince / Stephanie) because Flair is not put over everybody clean on his way out.  Flair's financial consulting business will go broke like all his other businesses have and the IRS (not Mike Rotundo) will come chasing after Flair.  Flair will be back wrestling with in 6 months of his retirement, so way too young trophy wife number 10 does not dump him for going broke.

3.  ECW will finally be put out of its misery on Sci Fi at the end of 2008.  ECW ratings will continue to decline until they are lower than TNA's ratings.  ECW will be broadcast on WWE.com for a while afterwards to fulfill international programming commitments.  Once ECW dies for good with a whimper instead of a bang, Tazz will be back with Cole on Smackdown commentary and Joey Styles will be wished well in his future endeavors after having thrown away his credibility and real world career for McMahon's abortion of a rip off of ECW.

4.  Hunter will squash Orton at Wrestlemania to get his World title back.  We will then endure a 2002 like Hunter reign of terror as he puts himself over everybody and dominates the show.  Hunter will beat Jeff Hardy 20 times on free television to get his job back from Hardy.  Finally in 2009 Cena will beat Hunter to get the title back and another boring Cena reign of terror will ensue, but that is for next year's predictions."

- Matthew Alan Roberts

--It will be discovered that RAW's WWE Title belt, Smackdown's World Heavyweight Title belt, and ECW's World Title belt are actually engraved with Triple H's name on there. Whenever someone else holds that belt, their names are put on there using gold colored stickers.

--Samoa Joe will NOT win the TNA World Title

--ROH will get financial backing and a TV deal from someone who will keep their egos out of the product. TNA will quickly become a distant third best promotion in the country (if they're not already).

--Kurt Angle will claim that TNA is beating RAW in the ratings.

--Torrie Wilson will improve in the ring to the point where she can actually carry someone to a 1/2-star match. It only took her nine years to get there. dry.gif

--WWE will FINALLY realize the gold mine they have in Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, and stop banking on Candice Michelle to become the next Trish Stratus because NONE of these three will be the next Trish Stratus. They will be the first Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, and Candice Michelle.

--Triple H will win the Royal Rumble and devour Randy Orton for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania 24.

--At some point in 2008, MVP will be Smackdown's World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley will be RAW's WWE Champion, and Shelton Benjamin will be the ECW Champion at the same time. In an unrelated note, Triple H will often be found sobbing uncontrollably.

--Ric Flair will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. His final match will be at Wrestlemania 24 when he is defeated by Mr. Kennedy.....Kennedy.

--WWE will stop treating the tag team titles as jokes. At least the RAW Tag Team Titles anyway.

--WWE will finally stop skipping around the subject and say Trips and Steph are married with a kid. Of course, the reason they do this is because there will be a storyline that results in Aurora McMahon (trust me, she's not gonna be a Levesque or a Helmsley upon her debut) pinning someone for either the Intercontinental Title, the US Title, the Women's Title, the ECW Title, or any combination of the above.

--Chris Jericho will retire in June and on his last day in WWE say something along the lines of, "Why in the hell did I come back just to be a A-talent B-teamer again? Damn...."

--Jeff Jarrett will return to the ring in TNA

--The main event at Bound for Glory 2008 will be Kurt Angle versus Jeff Jarrett.

--Maria will dump Santino Marella.........for Mickie James or Beth Phoenix. (ok, I just want that one to happen)

--Mr. Kennedy will be well on his way to another monster push when he either screws it up or gets injured again.

--They will not explain how Vickie Guerrero went from interim General Manager to permanent GM while Teddy Long went from GM to Assistant General Manager.

--WWE will bring back the Crusierweight Title. It will still be a joke, and Jimmy Wang Yang still won't win it.

--WWE will remember that The Boogeyman is still on the ECW roster, and be released.

--Booker T will win the TNA World Heavyweight Title."

- Green Teabagger

"TNA will bring in Lex Luger as a heel manager.  Scott Steiner will join Team Angle along with Jeff Jarrett and try to recreate the NWO 2000.  John Cena will return.  People will like him more than they did before his injury.  Hornswoggle's mother will be revealed as Sable.  There will be no explanation as to his age.  Brock Lesnar will have a bad year."
