JG's Insanity Notebook: Ashley Mastaken, Slap You Like a Hurricane, TNA's Sacrifice, Hogan Knows Court, Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, Coach Bags New Job, Awesome Triple H Closer, and More

...

(JG Note: Hey guys, ZAH's Shakin' His Head will return next week.  In the meantime, his new audio goes up on ClubWWI.com today and I present an all new Insanity notebook.  What's insane about wrestling you ask?  Plenty.)

- Apparently the Coach is on his way from WWE to ESPN. The former announcer decided it was time to leave the company once he no longer sucked at calling matches.

- Nick Hogan pleads no contest in court today after his car accident last year that left his friend in a terrible state. The tragedy isn't taken lightly by the family. The Hogans have expressed sadness and regret over the fact that VH1 wasn't there to videotape it.

- Ashley Massaro is denying reports that she was the "Ashely Massaro" named in Rolling Stone's big escort service article. The story goes that Ashley was part of a high priced service that provided Playboy models and other semi-celebrities as escorts for rich clientele. There may be some credence to Massaro's claims that she's been named unfairly. After all, I heard she was supposedly on Survivor too, but no one saw her on that show either.

- Come to think of it, she's supposed to be on WWE too, right?

- TNA has been presenting fans with their "Deuces Wild" tournament over the past few weeks. As a follow up, the company has planned the "Domino's Pretty Crazy Too" tournament.

- Bret Hart spoke to WWE's developmental talent down in Florida recently. His speech was short and to the point - "Get the hell out of here! RUN!"

- Torrie Wilson was released from WWE this week. When reached for comment, a spokesman said, "We have Mae Young. How many old ladies we need around here?"

- A friend of Smackdown Star Greg Helms was arrested this past week after slapping Greg in the face outside a bar. If you can think of anything to add to that sentence to make it funnier, then I applaud you.

- Terry Funk is on ClubWWI.com this week talking about his big return at the XPW show May 24th. I can't tell you enough how great Terry is on interviews like these. His Dusty Rhodes impression alone was worth the price of admission.

- THQ announced this week that they will be releasing a WWE Legends of WrestleMania video game. When critics expressed worry that it might take away from next year's "Smackdown vs. Raw 2009" game, THQ put them at ease and promised that they'd follow the same path to success that they've done since the series started - putting the previous year's game, minus some of its features, in a new box and selling it for $60.

- The Great Khali returned to India recently. Our heart goes out to the guy who had to sit next to him on the plane. Talk about having ZERO chance of using your armrest.

- TNA presents Sacrifice this Sunday on pay-per-view. No word yet on who the company plans to sacrifice at the show, but fans are hopeful it'll be Eric Young. Rumor has it that TNA President Dixie Carter is a firm believer in this practice as Vince Russo has convinced her that the God of Orlando needs human blood in order to grant them special powers.

- He also convinced her to put suitcases above the ring and parody a game show. Which one shocks you more?

- Triple H this past week decided to game game game game game game game gamegame game game game game game game gamegame game game game game game game gamegame game game game game game game game.

(William Regal declared that fans don't deserve to read the end of this article. Sorry.)
