It's no secret that I've been enjoying the reign of Bret Hart as Raw's General Manager, so when Mr. "No Chance in Hell" came out mid-way through Bret's monologue Monday night, I got a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Why?

Because it would be just like Mister McMahon to appoint Bret as GM, then yank it out from under him with a wicked laugh. But surprisingly, as the segment played out, it seemed more like Mister McMahon was giving Bret his blessing.

I sincerely hope so, since a good long run with Bret Hart as General Manager would be extraordinary.  Bret looked happy, Mister McMahon looked happy, and it would make this fan very happy!

Can't say that a three-hour Raw next Monday was the best news I ever heard, but matches chosen by "the people" could be a novel idea. I'm assuming that the "fans'" choices will be exactly the same as the choices of the people who usually make the matches, but it's an interesting concept.

People's Choice is a good idea and one I wouldn't mind seeing on a regular basis, but three hours is a long time to sit in front of the TV on a long summer night.

How about a shorter version?

Have you taken a good look at Ted DiBiase these days? It seems when we weren't looking, young Ted became star material. It's easy enough to buy into the storyline he has going with his trust fund, etc., but wrestlers are not always the best actors. However, DiBiase is, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him starring in another movie soon.
