Mallory's Thoughts on WrestleMania: To Order or Not to Order--That is the Question

You've probably been around WWE long enough to know that bunnies are a lot like puppies--they bear no resemblance to cute little animals. When most people think of bunnies this time of year, their thoughts turn to Cadbury Crème Eggs, Peeps and Easter baskets.

But you know there is another kind of bunny as far Divas and WWE are concerned. These bunnies were invented about a century ago by Hugh Hefner to grace his magazines.  Since Divas usually appear on the covers of these magazines during WrestleMania season, there is always some "clever" publicity tie-in.

This year is no exception and the festive Bunny Mania Match at The Biggest Show on Earth (with apologies to Barnum & Bailey) will feature lumberjacks. (Come to think of it, maybe the circus and WWE have something in common after all.)  But Bunnies and lumberjacks? Who thought that up?  I suppose it really doesn't matter what they call it, though, since it will turn into a hair-pulling match before all is said and done anyway.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the WrestleMania card about as much as I'm looking forward to the aforementioned Bunny match, which is to say, not much.

I will say I'm looking forward to the Ric Flair/Shawn Michaels match, but even that dimmed a bit after Monday's Raw. Two grandpas putting each other through tables was ridiculous.  They're lucky they didn't break a hip.

There is one more Monday night before WrestleMania. One more Monday night to persuade consumers to part with their money.  What could they possibly come up with to entertain viewers whose patience has worn thin in recent weeks?

Well, whatever it is, they'd better come up with something good or I'm going to take my $55 and spend it on shoes.

Thanks for reading and see ya next week.
