THE GREEN TEABAGGER
Jeff Hardy. Jeff freakin Hardy.
This past Sunday night TNA hosted their Failure Road pay-per-view. Excuse me, I mean Victory Road pay-per-view. And if TNA thinks Victory means making a pay-per-view that makes the disaster that was WWE's December to Dismember look like Wrestlemania, then yeah I guess that was a victory. If the event itself wasn't bad enough it was capped off by a main event that has been called the worst event in TNA history, and THAT'S saying something.
Thanks to T-Dog for finding the match on YouTube and posting it on the boards. The main event and last ten minutes or so of TNA's Failure Road between Sting and Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
Spoiler alert: It really sucked.
Jeff Hardy was wasted. Pure and simple. TNA could have done about 100 different things and it would have been better than this schlock. I could go on forever myself about this mess but then I'd be ignoring the masses on the
World Wrestling Insanity Message Boards
---which hopefully you'll be signing up for after you're finishing reading The All New Hot Threads with me, Squeaky, and The GreatWhiteDope---and the masses had a LOT to say on the subject.
RowdyRodimus: TNA knows his history, so why on f***ing earth do you put him on PPV,
let alone the main event picture?
RDLee:
It was such a horrible show that even the people that watched free streams were demanding a refund of their time.
James Guttman: The fact that Hardy was too f**ked up to wrestle wasn't a TNA creative issue. The fact that there was no back up plan in place was a TNA creative issue. There is no reason they couldn't have RVD or Mr. Anderson challenge the winner of this before it started - end it quick and then roll into a follow up match. Anything would have been better than this. They have no writers.
The Chosen 1: WWE WOULD NEVER, EVER Send him out to wrestle if they thought he was messed up.
The Chosen 1: I wonder how Sting must have felt in there... He isn't exactly an RVD or an Anderson in that he is Hardy's peer, Sting is an old school kind of guy that could very well come away from this hating a lot of people/the whole place he works for. The point that really came across to me was when Sting punched Bischoff and Hardy did nothing.. then the bell rings and Hardy just tries to throw his shirt alot.. i was expecting him to put a snake between his legs at this point.... I can't imagine Sting would feel anything short of disgraced.....
squirrelz:
I feel bad for Sting on this one. He clearly was pissed at the situation and sure, he's lost a few steps but he still seems to want to but a genuinely good show out there for the fans. I'm guessing there's a lot of disgust going on in the head of the Stinger.
Coolhand74: Looks to me like the only person who realized the match shouldn't be happening was Sting. It looks a lot like he ended the match early himself realizing Hardy was in no shape to wrestle. Hit the finisher and then legit hold him down for the 3 and walk away. Better than risking injury to himself or others when management doesn't know enough to do the right thing.
Aaron Wood: I think the actual reality of last night was that Jeff Hardy was too f***ed up to wrestle, and the people in charge of TNA were too retarded to call any sort of audible, and so their grand plan was a 90 second main event. Get it over and done with and worry about the fallout in the morning. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Bundorama: According to Prowrestling.net, they did have an alternative main event planned last night, but after talking with Jeff Hardy, Dixie Carter made the decision to go ahead with the match as planned. Creative had nothing to do with it....
JohnnyCraze:
And why didn't Dixie go with the alternative main event?
Aaron Wood:
Because in a wrestling sense, she has the mental capacity of a 4 year old.
Markus Ramius: With a blunder like that Dixie should stick with what she does best and work in PR and stay as far away from creative and the ring as possible.
Mike Johns:
It's an ego thing, though. TNA was FAR better with jeff running the wrestling part, and two years later, she still hasn't realized that. Yes, Jeff Jarrett has used TNA to feed his ego, but nowhere near on the level Dixie, Hogan, and Bischoff have.
sprout1883: The whole thing is a shambles. How can TNA continue to employ Jeff to the detriment of their company no matter how bad any of us think TNA sucks. The best thing is for the court to make TNA's decision for them and send Jeff to do some time and rehab or whatever. How must guys like A.J and Joe feel to see this f*cktard in main events.
And that was just the tip of the iceberg on Jeff Hardy's "performance" at TNA Failure Road.
To add to Jeff's troubles...
James Bullock: According to Pwinsider.com, TNA has made the decision to send Jeff Hardy home from this week's set of Impact tapings.
Aaron Wood: Also noted is that Jeff's next court date is Wednesday (writer note: today). I wonder if you can get a continuance by showing up wasted off your ass? Maybe that's what he's going for?
RDLee: They should just fire him and move on. He's had plenty of chances to grow up and be an adult and he fails every time. I really don't care about him or his excuses anymore. It's funny how a drugged up loser like Jeff Hardy still has a job in TNA while guys who are CLEAN, in great shape and work hard like Stevie Richards and Val Venis are unemployed. TNA fucking sucks.
James Guttman: I just find it insane that they had to have a meeting to decide whether or not to send the guy who ruined their pay-per-view home from TV the next day. Stuff like that just blows my mind. You'd think anyone in charge with half a brain would have told him not to bother coming back until he gets a phone call before he left the arena last night. Instead he shows up today with his gym bag and make up? It's just so stupid.
And to further confirm Jeff Hardy is a colossal f***-up.
James Bullock: I'm shocked no one's posted this. Jeff Hardy posted the following on his Twitter page: "I just gotMarried..........&Ruby just pooped." He married his longtime girlfriend Beth.
Squeaky: He's treating it with the respect and seriousness that I would expect from Jeff Hardy.
So yeah, Jeff Hardy's a colossal f***-up. In other news, the sun came up this morning. Fire is still hot. Water is still wet, and TNA is still a trainwreck.
Good grief.
SQUEAKY
Remember when it was ok to hate Justin Beiber? He was a pre-pubescent little teen punk getting way too much attention, and would fizzle out like a bad fart ala the Jonas Brothers and every other gimmick musical act that ever existed.
Inexplicably, Beiber released a movie and people, like our own Matt Dawgs, were throwing words like RESPECT around when talking about him.
It was so cool to hate Justin Beiber for so long that now it has swung back in the other direction, making it ok to admire his talent and success even if you don't like his music.
I won't relent on hating him just because he made an amusing super bowl commercial and is able to make fun of himself.
It is with this admitted bias in mind that Avatar of the Week is awarded to
RDLee
!
(Note: I had this written three weeks ago, patiently waiting my turn to award Avatar of the Week, and yesterday RDLee CHANGES HIS EXPLITIVING AVATAR.
So while, technically, this should be disqualified from contention, in reality it's my 800 words and I'll do whatever I want.)

The tragedy in Japan has and will continue to effect the entire world.
Our forums
weighed in
on the crisis.
TheGreatWhiteDope:
"Headline News this morning as a major earthquake and tsunami strikes Japan. But first big news as Lindsey Lohan is offered a plea deal. With more on this we go to John Chambers." *five minutes later* "And now for more on Charlie Sheen we go to Jenny (lastname)" ....You stay classy CNN
James Bullock:
Giving the people what they want. They would rather go crazy with debate over wether Lohan deserves to go to jail rather than inform the public that a catastrophe just happened on the other side of the Pacific.
Squeaky:
On a semi-related note, where does everyone here go for their news? No right or wrong answers, just where you get your news and why you've chosen that source, right or wrong.
I don't have television, so I get my news from month old magazines in waiting rooms before I shill myself out doing two and a half hours of bread taste tests for $85 a pop. (Don't judge me)
Aaron Wood:
Principally, the BBC. Also, one of our main "Quality" newspapers, the Independent, has recently come out with an off-shoot called "The I Paper", which is cheap and condensed, but still a quality eel a read.
Twitter's become a good stopping off point as well, since news usually trends for a while, so you click on something that takes your eye and you can go from there.
Also, The Onion.
JT:
Stewart & Colbert
squirrelz!:
Depends on what the genre of news it is. For something like this (disaster related/big non-political news), usually CNN, BBC, The Toronto Sun newspaper and Al-Jazeera. I like to read things from different perspectives, makes life more interesting
The Chosen 1:
Opie & Anthony
Mike Johns:
it's varied. the major news networks, daily show, BBC online, and a couple YouTubers who vlog and often bring up stuff and give links and whatnot.
I find that you trust any one source too long, it'll eventually f*** you.
Finally, a peculiar incident happened involving former WWE Diva Tiffany and Chavo Guerrero.
Tiffany posted some interesting pictures of a text conversation between her and Chavo that Aaron Wood had enough foresight to take screen grabs of before she deleted them.
I'm still very confused by the whole thing, but it segues (I can't believe that's how the word is spelled) perfectly into our
Aaron Wood and Canadian Bulldog Hate Each Other POST OF THE WEEK!
Aaron Wood:
Let's play a game of "What's up with Tiffany?"!
So, I woke up this morning, and I see that Tiffany has uploaded a bunch of pictures to YFrog. They are all of iPhone conversations someone has seemingly been having with "Chavo".

She then soon deleted that tweet and replaced it with something like "I can't do this anymore". She had since posted:
And now the whole account has been deleted.
Me thinks her and Drew are finito, to say the least...
Canadian Bulldog:
Maybe now you can finally take your crush on Drew to the next level.
THE GREAT WHITE DOPE
As always one of the most active threads on in all of the WWI Galaxy (make it a thing, Guttman) is the weekly Raw thread. It's so important people try to consistently give it a snazzy, albeit usually bad, punned name. With this past week there was no exception at all. Regret? Maybe. Exception? No.
Before jumping into the action let us view the brilliant, bad pun thread title for Raw…..
JohnnyCraze
Raw Thread for 3/14/11
Well……****
Anyways,

Last week Stone Cold returned. Tonight Trish Stratus will return to face Vickie Guerrero. If Vickie doesn't win, she's fired. But wait, isn't Trish retired? Is this a one night thing? I have no idea.
What will Miz do tonight to piss off Cena? Will Cena make a poop joke?
Markus Ramius
what are the Vegas Odds that we will get one match without Cole burying it by
being a complete douchebag and putting himself over?
The Green Teabagger
THE COLE MINE!
YES!
The Chosen 1
Noooooooo Nooooooo NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WWE PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME LIKE SNOOKI... PLEASE.... I CAN'T
Markus Ramius
HA HA HA!!! I love Snooki now LMAO
The Chosen 1
It's ALWAYS GrandMasta Sexay
Aaaaand there ya go....
And I BELIEVE This is ACTUALLY (Amazingly) the VERY FIRST TIME WWE Has openly on-air admitted that Sexay is Lawler's son.
Average
Dang, I don't think anyone in the arena knew who Grandmaster Sexay is. It was like crickets! People used to go mental for 2Cool.
RDLee
(chipping in, in the middle of writing the real time raw report, cheap plug, about Cole/Lawler segment)
That was a great segment in my opinion.
The Green Teabagger
Well there ya go, whoever asked, you got your three second segment with Snooki and Zach Ryder
T-Dog

"Welcome to Whose Line is it Anyway, the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter; that's right, the points are just like the WWE Hall of Fame!"
While some of the other biggest talk of the past week in our WWE section has been regulated to some twitter comments from Tiffany possibly about Chavo, you can go look yourself for them. Join the forums, enjoy a conversation, play the WWI Fantasy Wrestling Game, but I'm just not going to repost TMZ-esk stuff.
The other big, big, gigantic story of the week was a much somber one in Japan as the earthquake and tsunami did major damage to the country. Something of the magnitude would bring conversation from anywhere, including the WWI Galaxy. Also, I would just like to state that while I see CNN as a viable news source I truly feel slightly sickened in how they handled the order of coverage that morning.

I'm not surprised. From what I believe, the Earth is like that, although by much
smaller (miniscule) amounts, but 8 feet is a prewtty staggering amount.
TheGreatWhiteDope
Sucks to wake up and see the news like this. Hopefully anyone there now, or has family or friends there are ok.
On a personal note and suggestion I would just like to give the following recommendation. The effects of what happened in Japan will be felt by that country for years to come. They need a lot of help. Anyone on the forum here at worldwrestlinginsanity.com or anyone who is a member of clubwwi.com, take some time to donate what you can. Even just one donation can help. Ignore a McDonalds just once this month and donate the five dollars to help. Anyone whose subscription to Club WWI is coming up, get the 3 month option instead of the 6 month and donate the five dollar difference to help Japan.
They need it.
What happened was a natural disaster and it ruined a lot of people's lives. Using that five or ten dollars to help aid Japan in rebuilding its towns or feeding its citizens will give you a pretty good feeling afterwards.
