Hot Threads: Sabin's Stop-Motion Toy Story, Hulk's All About the Real, Linda McMahon's the CEO of WCW, and More

By Mike Johns Nov 3, 2010 - 1:17 PM

Did you know that World Wrestling Insanity has a Message Board? Yep. We've done got us one of them there fancy Message Boards, where you, the random, unnamed wrestling fan can go and vent your frustrations. From WWE’s Family Friendly Direction, to ROH's Production issues, to whatever stupid stunt TNA is running with this week, the Insanity Message Boards is your place to speak your mind. You can also interact with fellow Insanity Readers, as well as the Insanity Staff. We even have an E-Fed, if you’re into that whole "Role-Playing" thing, so feel free to stop on by and join in the fun!

In the meantime though, here's a taste of what you're missing –

Hot Topic  Our Random and Insane Wrestling Pics thread continues to be one of the most popular and most viewed features on our Boards.   Why?   Because of pictures like this –

Aaron Wood

I'm guessing that that for a laugh at a house show, John Morrison wrote Steamboat on Melina's ass and they would see if anyone spotted it while they were out at ringside.

ZAH
I could be wrong, but isn't that Steamboat in the lower right-hand corner? I mean...what's the point of raising the skirt with Steamboat's name for some ringside fans?

Mike Johns
It certainly looks like Ricky's bald spot.

RYTMAN
Weird way to give a guy his "props;"   But not the worst.

Hot Topic  As you likely know, former WWE CEO, Linda McMahon, made a run for the US Senate this year.   Our own Canadian Bulldog has even been keeping track of a certain other website’s coverage of the campaign in his section of the Boards, documenting some of the outright unethical, biased attacks against her (and WWE) disguised as “wrestling journalism”.   This past Tuesday, the election was held, and…

AstonMartyn
Fox News just called the race for Blumenthal (McMahon’s opponent)

BBC News saying 1) Linda was CEO of WCW, 2) She spent $60m of her own money and 3) She was filmed "in the boxing ring".

Sigh.

James Guttman
If Chris Dodd had stayed in, she could have won, I think. These past few weeks got really tough for her and, in the end, she was outmatched in a state that leans left. If it's something she always wanted to do, good for her. At least she got involved.

Aaron Wood
The thing that's bugged me in recent days and weeks is the notion of her spedning $50 million. Now sure, that was really rather OTT, but it's her own money. The way some folks have gone on, you'd think it were WWE's money funding the whole thing.

Canadian Bulldog
Yeah, just watching the results come in now. I'm actually surprised how close the vote is.

I agree with James that she ran a smart campaign, and things may have been different due to any number of outside factors.

I'll be honest - I'm kind of hoping this thread ends soon, because it's been kind of depressing how unfair they've been to this poor woman. Not letting her off the hook for the things WWE has done, but that has SO little to do with what she was trying to accomplish. It's a shame, really. Not unexpected, but a shame.

Hot Topic  I generally try to give you some sort of witty intro for each of these segments, but, many times, there’s little to nothing I can say to prepare you for what you’re about to see.   This is one of those cases.   All I can say is that this next video really ought to be inducted into our resident Stupid TNA Video thread –

Exx
Hogan giving his "final warning" on his video blog.

Mike Johns
"If you don't draw money, you don't belong here". Okay... so... why is Hogan still here? And why is he fake evil laughing like a Bond Villain? and why....

TNA is scaring me for life. I hope you realize this. If you thought XPW was bad (and BOY HOWDY, it was), and WCW in 2000-2001 was bad (and it was), you haven't seen anything yet.

James Guttman
If ever a video deserved to be hosted on something called "Twit Vid", this is it.

ZAH
I think I'll start watching TNA again just to see how bad it can possibly get. This is ridiculous.

SABUISGOD
Imagine watching the dying days of WCW, but on some really cheap mexican LSD and swigging moonshine brewed in an old car radiator (for that extra antifreeze kick) while nursing a grade 3 concussion.....

that bad.

aliasyoshi
Remember about 5 or so years ago, after the triumphant return and Mr. America stuff, when Hulk was in WWE "part time"? And how crowds were still huge, huge, huge into the guy? And people on this site were wondering why? Did any of us think THIS would (or could) be the culmination? Really?

shooting
Don't you love it when people do that evil laugh and think its funny? And people who call themselves 'evil'.

At this current moment I care more about Mark Henry then Hulk Hogan or Hollywood Hogan (whichever one he is called now). Personally he should of retired after Brock killed him in the ring since everything he done after that is awful.

JohnnyCraze
Hogan looks just like my friend's grandfather in that video minus the stache. Pretty pathetic, even for him. What does interesting mean? I really can't wait until I see Hogan's meaning of interesting.

Hot Topic Speaking of Stupid TNA Videos, look what ZAH found –

ZAH

This is just a taste of what you're missing on the Boards. Why don't you come by sometime and check it out for yourself, eh?   You never know when something you post may end up being the next Hot Thread.
