Did you know that World Wrestling Insanity has a Message Board?Yep. We’ve done got us one of them there fancy Message Boards, where you, the random, unnamed wrestling fan can go and vent your frustrations. From WWE’s Family Friendly Direction, to ROH’s Production issues, to whatever stupid stunt TNA is running with this week, the Insanity Message Boards is your place to speak your mind. You can also interact with fellow Insanity Readers, as well as the Insanity Staff. We even have an E-Fed, if you’re into that whole “Role-Playing” thing, so feel free to stop on by and join in the fun!
In the meantime though, here's a taste of what you're missing –
You remember that thread our resident newbie, TheJamieNator, started up last week, trying to figure out who the Mysterious RAW GM actually is?
Yep, it's still going…
AyatollahBlassie I think it's Richard Blumenthal.
M.O.D. Never gonna happen... but it'd be cool if it were Dana White.
ZAH I still think it's actually Michael Cole. And I think he messed with Edge in order to help facilitate Edge's babyface turn that helps placate the fans after the eventual John Cena heel turn.
RDLee That's a good thought and I, too, agree that it is probably Michael Cole. Do you really think they will turn Edge back to babyface so soon though? I was thinking the stage was set for a Jericho face turn when he comes back as well so having Orton, Edge and Jericho as faces might be overkill.
Aaron Wood Yeah, I'm not sure they're going to turn Edge babyface any time soon given how badly his last run ended. I'm with RD. To me, it seems like whenever Jericho returns, he'll be a babyface again.
Anthony.Analog The "business professional" haircut Jericho has doesn't work w/ him being a face. At all. Edge's face run would've went over just fine if they didn't try and force those stupid "spear" chants and pull the plug on giving the Edge/Jericho feud actual resolution. The last time Edge was legit face on Smackdown, he was OVER... so over... in fact, if he pulled out some 5 Second Pose/Edge & Christian type Edge, he'd be MASSIVE as a face. But an angry face forcing catchphrases just doesn't cut it.
slimjames It's probably Dennis Stamp...lord knows he's not booked anywhere else.
If this were some WCW 2000 angle, the GM would be revealed as...Chris Jericho and Edge! (SWERVE!) They could claim each was emailing (and since it's 2000, the email addresses would be @aol.com's) while the other was in the ring. Oh, you say, they were in the ring at the same time when the GM emailed? Here's your explanation: Don't worry about it. Then Edge would win the US title by pinning Big Vito in a Triple threat match with Hugh G. Rection (even though Johnny the Bull started the match) and Jericho would win the WCW world title by being the first to unearth a trunk with the title in it in the first ever 'Reverse Buried Alive Treasure Match'. All in the same night. Magical times.
Canadian Bulldog Here's my question: Why the HELL would Vince McMahon make Michael Cole the General Manager.... and then keep him in that role after the GM's group attacked him?
At least with his son-in-law, it's a bit more logical that McMahon would be worried about keeping his family together or something.
They Call Me Phil Shawn Michaels?
aliasyoshi Adam West???
Theman6201 Come on, you all know it's Linda McMahon. It has to be kept a secret until November 3
The Green Teabagger Kenny Powers
Do it.
Mike Johns Once again, as long as it's not Dixie Carter, I really don't give a sh*t. it could be me for all I care.
Actually, if it were me, I'd be making some fat cash right now.
James Bullock Max Power? Maaaaax Power, it's the name you'd love to touch!
TheJamieNaytor Yes, my head hurts an I can't sleep. Its 4:30 in the morning in Louisville, Kentucky, and I just took a hydrocodone with a shot of rum. Reason this is in the WWE section, oh Mr. Admin sir or ma'am, is because of the reason my head hurts...
Raw General Manager.....apparently my head is getting to small from my brain when my brain is expanding (lol I think the pills are working, that last sentence made no sense. Anywho, my brain is trying to wrap itself around this gimmick but it feels like this:
But I digress or digest or whatever, I know who the general manager is:
MATT HARDY!!!
Think about it folks:
Not "futured endeavored " yet
Past history with Edge
Him "rick rolling" everybody on the net. HIM I mean Matt Hardy. God why did I no see this coming. Well the pills are starting to work now I guess I will see ................
The Chosen 1 The GM said "Why you gotta hate, yo?" Honestly now I'm thinking it's gotta be John Cena or Santino Marella
Squeaky I hate to say this, but what a let down if it was Santino, and that is probably who it is.
The Chosen 1 I can't be the only one who remembered that the last time we had a big WHO IS IT Angle it was the Midget Leprechaun can I?
bmartin Rikishi is doing it for the Rock
But, honestly, the best one so far has been -
RDLee
The Chosen 1 Isn't that Hulk Ho.... Isn't that Hulk--- I'm sorry... I can't do this again...
This is the part of the column where you, the faithful reader, are likely wondering, "All right, when are you getting to the Raw Thread?"
So, what stupid thing did Michael Cole say this week?
The Green Teabagger Did they just plug Mick Foley's new book?
Wow.
JT Holy Sh*t they just promoted Foley's new book.
wolfchild Did the WWE just plug Mick Foley's new book?
The Chosen 1 I'M SORRY WHATT????????? DID THEY JUST PLUG MICK FOLEY AND HIS TNA BOOK!!!!?????
Yes, Michael Cole actually plugged Mick Foley's latest book, Countdown to LockDown, on Monday Night Raw.
Mick Foley, while considered by many to be a WWE Legend, is, in fact, currently collecting a paycheck for the folks down in Orlando, and his book, Countdown to LockDown, is reported to be HIGHLY critical of Vince McMahon, including Mick's gripes with McMahon yelling at Mick when he was doing commentary on SmackDown prior to his sojourn to TNA. So, you're likely wondering, "Why would Vince allow a plug for a book that bashes him, written by someone who works for his competition, to make air?"
Turns out, T-Dog knew what was up –
T-Dog The Foley book plus was a "thank you" from Vince to Foley for defending Linda and her campaign in a recent interview. Yes, Foley is a hardcore Democrat, but he was being fair to her in the regard of being a serious candidate and how scripted wrestling angles shouldn't be used by the DNC against her.
So there's nothing to read into it about. It was just a one-time solid by Vince. Apparently in the book, Foley rips Vince big time and says he lost a lot of respect for Vince because he was screaming obscenities in his ear while announcing Smackdown. So it's not like Foley sugarcoats his last years with WWE.
So, let's see…
This past week, our own Canadian Bulldog answered some of your questions on Aaron Wood Presents Complete and Utter Bulldog, available exclusively on ClubWWI.com.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints (and the fact that Aaron Wood is a cheap bastard who isn't willing to put any money into the show whatsoever), Canadian Bulldog was not able to answer all of your questions.
So, because I have the time, and they were posted on the Message Boards, I'm taking it upon myself to answer some of the questions Bulldog didn't have the time to get to.
You lucky marks, you…
TheGreatWhiteDope Is six degrees of Kevin Bacon a true mathmatical theory? Could you prove/disprove it with the following: Subway Italian Herb and Cheese cold cut footlong, Bacon, Canadian Bacon, the tree in my front yard, Brett Farve, and latitude 68/longitude 154?
Mike's Answer: Do I look like freaking Steven Hawking to you?!?!
Jeez… who'd think Bulldog would know the answer to something like this?
I mean, hell, next some idiot is going to ask Bulldog how to build a robot or something….
Mike Johns If you were going to build a robot replica of Madison Rayne, just how would you go about replicating her voice? Is there software for that, or would you have to cut up pieces of her promos for the authentic sound?
Mike's Answer: Oh, yeah… forgot about that one… We should really be moving on, here…
Nelsolo If Michael Cole hits a gong on NXT and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Mike's Answer: I don't know.
Let's ask Michael Cole.
slimjames Which title do you secretly want to go watch old Attitude era title defenses of on Youtube more: WCW Hardcore or WWF Lightheavyweight?
Mike's Answer: WCW Hardcore.
Better material for Maverick Radio (exclusively on ClubWWI.com).
The Green Teabagger If Aaron Wood guest starred on a television show, which show would you like to see him ruin and get cancelled due to the massive amount of suck he would bring to a show that already had a massive amount of suck?
Mike's Answer: TNA Impact.
Or whatever new show they're going to have follow South Park once the new episodes start airing again…
RDLee When I erase a word with a pencil, where does it go?
Mike's Answer: The Negative Zone
TheGreatWhiteDope They've established the WWE title is more prestigious than the World title but which of these titles is more prestigious: TNA's Beer Drinking Championship or the X-Division title?
Mike's Answer: Doesn't matter.
Eric Young's held both, and once Eric Young's held the title, it no longer means a damn thing.
This is just a taste of what you're missing on the Boards. Why don't you come by sometime and check it out for yourself, eh?
You never know when something you post may end up being the next Hot Thread.
