Hello WWI Readers. Enjoy WWE RAW last night? I sure did...cuz I was there! Yes, a whole 2 hour trip down to DC I can now honestly say isn't the stupidest thing I've done (spending as much money as I did on T-Shirts and a replica title belt...maybe).

Before RAW went on the air...we were treated to...Saturday Night's Main Event! That was a swerve for me even. But before we began taping SNME, we had a dark match with Paul London taking on Charlie Haas. London has a decent pop, Haas had plenty of boo's. Paul London picked up the win after doing 1,000 flippy tricks and a shooting star press.

Immediately followingt, The King Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross were brought out for commentary as we got prepared for SNME. CM Punk came out (to a huge pop) to join King and JR on commentary. JBL, Kane & Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase (Jr.) all came out to mad boos, and they took on John Cena, Cryme Tyme and Batista (All got hot pops, and while Cena did get boo's, from what I could tell, there were more cheers). JBL picked up the win for his team when he pinned one of the members of Cryme Tyme (JTG...I think).

The following match was Jimmy Wayne Yang being squashed by The Great Khali. Yang got a decent pop and Khali was that kinda "Snitsky" quiet...mixed with boo's, though. Khali won the match in roughly less than a minute.

The entire time we saw random celeb videos talking about Jenny McCarthy "stepping into the ring to fight autism at SNME". Jenny comes out on a carpeted area on the main stage and talked about putting the smackdown on autism. The crowd reaction felt as if we were mildly interested...no booing...but certainly not screaming our lungs out.

...And finally, Edge took on Jeff Hardy. Edge picked up the win in a great match, after MVP came out and clocked Hardy while he was down, and Edge hit the spear.

Now for RAW notes:

-Cena came out to a typical mixed reaction.

-Batista, when he came out for that first promo, got a very hot pop.

-Shane O'Mac got a decent pop even...

-Kelly Kelly got a decent pop (...no idea why)

-D-Lo got a good pop

-Santino got a decent pop from my side at least

-Glamazon got a "meh".

-Hacksaw got a typical "why the hell are these people cheering for him" reaction

-The crowd, while they booed Michael Cole earlier, acxtually got behind him for the match.

-Rhodes and DiBiase got a lot of boos.

-People love Kofi Kingston and hate Jamie Noble.

-CM Punk came out to another hot pop, and the crowd was shocked by Regal's appearance.

-At somepoint, and I think it may have been after this match, Mae Young came out to do the kiss-cam. Featured were 2 girls kissing, two guys who refused...and then Mae Young said "Lemme show you how it's done" and smooched the referee that was in the ring.

-Chris Jericho grabbed some serious heat. The crowd loved the video package...but when heel Jericho began speaking...yeah. By the way, the Jeritron, probably as you could tell...was very crooked.

-Mickie James got a hot pop...and when I saw her hug someone at ringside I got jealous...then I got home and read it was her dad.

-People hate The Burchills.

-The crowd was somewhat upset to see Shawn Michaels would be live...next week.

-The crowd remained pretty hot through the main event. When Mike Adamle was announced as the new GM, the generally reaction was "whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhat!?". I read up Mallory's real-time report...and she pretty much hits the nail on the head...it was silent.

-After RAW went off the air Batista got to address the home crowd. I honestly wasn't interested, so I was walking out...though I did catch him saying "Y'know...I hate talking on this thing...and you guys...you can boo me if you want". The crowd, indeed...boo'd their asses off. I didn't catch anything else, though.

It was an awesome time and I have a ton of pics and...maybe some other stuff...to mess through and get on my main computer. I'll pass them around to you guys asap.
