VIDEO: Hype video previewing tonight's matches for The Bash (formerly known as The Great American Bash). The Bash is coming to you live from Sacramento, California! 1, ECW Championship (Scramble Match): Christian vs."The All American American" Jack Swagger vs. Finlay vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. "World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry w. Tony Atlas: The match begins with two Superstars. Every three minutes, a new Superstars enters the ring. The match has a twenty minute time limit and the Superstar with the last pinfall. Collar and elbow tieup. Swagger unloads forearm smashes on Christian then shoves him into the corner. Swagger runs into a boot from Christian with Christian following up with punches. Standing powerslam by Swagger catches Christian by surprise. Cover on Christian for a two count. Seated abdominal stretch by Swgger. Swagger picks up Christian and gives him a stomachbreaker. Swagger pts Christian on the top rope and goes for a suplex only for Christian to somersault behind him and apply a sleeper. Swagger drives Christian into the corner, breaking the hold. Punches to Christian as Swagger puts him on the top rope. Once again, it's a bad move for Swagger as Christian lands a missile dropkick on Swagger. At the three minute mark, out comes Finlay, clotheslining Swagger and Christian. Finlay slams Christian on top of Swagger. Finlay kicks Swagger who rolls out of the ring. Forearm uppercut by Finlay stuns Christian. Cover on Christian for a two count. Finlay brawls with Christian however Christian uses his speed advantage to dive off the second rope and hit a flying elbow on Finlay. Christian backs up into the ropes only to be tripped by Swagger. The action spills out of the ring with all three men brawling. The action spills back into the ring with Swagger surprising Finlay with a pin. PINFALL: Jack Swagger Christian and Swagger go after each other with a series of nearfalls. Out comes the ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer runs at Swagger, blasting him with a right hand. Bulldog on Swagger followed by a kick to ghe gut on Christian. Christian blocks a DDT but Dreamer surprises him with a powerbomb. Cover for a two count. Dreamer places Chrisitan in the Tree of Woe and hits a hesitation dropkick. Once again, the action spills out of the ring with brawling galore. Finlay and Swagger attack each other but Finlay gets the upper hand, hitting the Celtic Cross. PINFALL: Finlay Christian goes for a surprise cover on Finlay but Finlay kicks out. "World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry enters the scent cleaning house inside the ring. Henry hits "The World's Strongest Slam" on Dreamer, pinning him. There is now just four minutes left which means Henry will be new champion unless someone else scores a pinfall. Henry is knocked out of the ring and his opponents dive out after him. Henry takes out Dreamer and Christian then returns to the ring. Henry begins climbing the ropes, possibly to jump out after Christian and Dreamer. However Swagger clips his knee, then hits a moonsault on Henry. Cover and Swagger gets the duke. PINFALL: Mark Henry Henry is doubleteamed outside the ring while back in the ring, Dreamer DDT's Christian, then covers him for the pin. PINFALL: Tommy Dreamer. Everyone is scrambling to go for a last minute pin as the clock ticks away. With just 20 seconds left, Dreamer goes for the pin on Henry but fails. Christian goes for a Sunset Flip at the last second but fails to get the three count. WINNER: Tommy Dreamer (retains ECW Championship). BACKSTAGE: Former World Champion Edge storms into SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long's office. Edge demands that tonight's World Title Match between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy be made a Triple Threat Match with him in it. Long refuses and Edge tells Long (who is on probation thanks to Mr. McMahon) he'd better reconsider or he may end up fired. 2. Intercontinental Championship (Title vs. Mask Match) Chris Jericho (Champion) vs. Rey Mysterio: This is a classic see-saw battle with both men vying to vanquish the other. Th Jericho looks to have a tained win when he covers Rey using the ropes for leverage. However Rey somehow kicks out. Jericho misses a Lionsault and Mysterio tries a rollup. The two then battle in the corner with Rey knocking Jericho off of the top rope. Dropkick sends Jericho onto the ropes and Mysterio hits the 619. When Rey goes for the West Coast Pop, Jericho counters and applies the Walls of Jericho. Jericho then goes for a rollup only to be reversed by Rey. Jericho surprises Rey with the Codebreaker. Jericho rips off the mask but there’s another mask underneath! Rey hits an enziguri and puts Jericho in position for the 619. The West Coast Pop follows and Rey gets the win.
WINNER:
Rey Mysterio New Intercontinental Champion. (by pinfall)

VIDEO: Highlights of Donald Trump’s first night as owner of Monday Night RAW. Previous owner Vince McMahon was so frustrated that the ended up buying RAW back for twice what he sold it for. BACKSTAGE: Chris Jericho storms into Teddy Long's office and demands that he be given his contractually mandated rematch. Long tells Jericho he didn't get to be the longest reigning General Manager in WWE history by caving in to Superstars who storm into his office. Long tells Jericho he'll have to wait for his rematch to which Jericho tells him he'd better reconsider.VIDEO: Hype video for tonight's Dolph Ziggler vs. The Great Khali Match. 3. No Disqualification Match: The Great Khali w. Ranjin Singh vs. Dolph Ziggler: Ziggler tries to get the early advantage by attacking Khali early on with punches and kicks. Khali easily shrugs them off and throws Ziggler out of the ring. Khali chops Ziggler. However when he goes for a second chop, Ziggler ducks and Khali chops the steel ringpost. Ziggler dropkicks Khali off of the mat apron but Khali chops him, knocking Ziggler into the ring. Still outside the ring, Ziggler chop blocks Khali. Ziggler grabs a chair and blasts Khali with it. However Khali fights back by punching the chair, knocking it out of Ziggler's hand. Ziggler tries a rear facelock but Khali escapes by suplexing Ziggler. Big boot on Ziggler as Khali signals the end is near. Just then, Kane's music plays and the Big Red Machine walks down to ringside. With Khali distracted, Ziggler grabs the chair and blasts Khali several times in the leg. Kane enters the ring and Ziggler exits. Kane grabs the chair and smashes it over Khali several times before leaving the ring. Ziggler rolls back in and scores the pin on his helpless opponent. WINNER: Dolph Ziggler (by pinfall). BACKSTAGE: Mr. McMahon meets with Teddy Long. McMahon tells Long he was kind of angry when he put Long on suspension. McMahon tells Long he began thinking of the fact that Long has been GM for nearly five years- but what has he done? McMahon tells Long the only thing he has going for him is his dance, and he doesn't even do that well. An angry McMahon tells Long he is still on probation! VIDEO: Hype video for the DVD release of Twelve Rounds. 4. Unified Tag Team Championship (Triple Threat Match): Carlito and Primo Colon (Champions) vs. Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) vs. Edge & Chris Jericho : Before the match begins, Long changes the match to a Triple Threat Match. Legacy double team Edge while the champions double team Jericho, knocking both men out of the ring. DiBiase starts off against Carlito as the match begins. Collar and elbow tieup. Both men back off then exchange punches. DiBiase whips Carlito intot the corner but Carlito backflips out, surprising DiBiase with a clothesline. Tag to Prino who hits a high cross bodyblock on DiBiase followed by a cover for a two fall. Jericho runs in without making the tag only for the referee to escort him out. DiBiase and Primo brawl with Carlito using kicks and a legsweep to get the upper hand. Legdrop on DiBiase followed by a cover for a two count. Tag to Carlito who dropkicks DiBiase, covering him for a two count. Headlock on DiBiase by Carlito. The action continues with Edge and Jericho doing nothing more than watching as Legacy battles the Primos. Legacy gains the upper hand momentarily with Rhodes working over Primo. Jawbreaker on Rhodes gives Primo the opening to escape and Rhodes tags in Edge. Edge goes for the Spear but Primo leapfrogs over him and Edge crashes into Legacy's corner. DiBiase makes the blind tag and goes after Primo. Quick tag to Rhodes who gains the upper hand on Primo, applying a chinlock. Primo counters with a rollup for a two count but Rhodes quickly rebounds, clotheslining Primo and covering him for a two count. Primo fires off punches at Primo but Rhodes kicks him, knocking him down. Rhodes lifts up Primo in a modified standing backbreaker. However Edge runs in, making the save. Rhodes talks trash with Jericho and Edge, giving Primo a chance to recover. Primo kicks Rhodes in the face but Rhodes is able to tag in DiBiase and DiBiase stops Primo from making the tag. DiBiase and Primo fight near the ropes and Primo surprises DiBiase by backdropping him over the top rope. Primo makes the hot tag as DiBiase tags in Rhodes. Series of punches to Rhodes. Carlito hits a springboard elbow on Rhodes. Cover for about a two. DiBiase runs in only for Primo to dropkick him out. Jericho runs in and hits the Codebreaker on Primo. Rhodes charges at Carlito but no one is home and Rhodes' shoulder hits the steelpost. Edge makes the blind tag on Rhodes as Carlito hits the Backstabber on Rhodes. Unaware that Edge is the legal man, Carlito turns around only to get the Spear. Cover by Edge and we have new tag team champions. WINNERS: Edge and Chris Jericho New Unified Tag Team Champions (Edge pins Carlito).

BACKSTAGE: Randy Orton tells Legacy not to worry about what just happened. Instead, they should focus on protecting Orton's title. An angry DiBiase asks Orton if all they are are Orton's henchmen. DiBiase tells Orton he even took a punt to the head so he could join Orton. An angry DiBiase storms off. Rhodes tells Orton he'll talk to DiBiase. 5. Woman's Championship Match: Melina (Champion) vs. Michelle McCool w. Alicia Fox: McCool wrestles a very aggressive style against Melina, brawling with the champion and working over Melina's knee. McCool tries a submission hold but Melina doesn't relent. Melina hits a move off the top rope and covers McCool. However Fox breaks up the pin by putting McCool's leg on the bottom rope. Melina turns to McCool but is caught offguard. McCool places Melina in the Faithbreaker and covers her for the win. WINNER: Michelle McCool New WWE Woman's Champion (by pinfall). McCool becomes the first Diva to have held the Woman's Championship and the Divas' Championship. VIDEO: Don't Try This at Home message. VIDEO: Hype video for tonight's Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk match. 6. World Championship Match: Cm Punk (Champion) vs. Jeff Hardy: The matchto begins with mat based wrestling but the pace quickly picks up. Hardy backdrops Punk over the top rope then goes out after Punk. However a dive towards Punk fails as Punk drops to the ground and Hardy crashes into the security barrier. Jeff barely makes it back to the ring before the ten count. Punk goes after Hardy with submission holds but Hardy holds out. Punk misses a charge in the corner and Hardy follows up with the Whisper in the Wind. The action spills outside briefly before returning to the ring. Back and forth action. Punk uses his martial arts skills to pepper Hardy with kicks but Hardy ducks a backhand and hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes for the Swanton but Punk rolls out of the way. Both men are battered though and slow to get up. Punk gets up before Hardy and pulls his opponent up by the hair. Out of nowhere, Hardy surprises Punk with an inside cradle, getting a nearfall. Punk tries the Go to Sleep but Hardy counters and hits the Twist of Fate. Swanton on Punk but Hardy is slow to cover. However Hardy makes the cover and pins Punk for waht looks like a three count. However the referee stops Hardy and tells him Punk's leg was under the bottom rope. A video replay confirms this. Hardy argues with the referee as it's clear the match is going to be restarted. Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate but Punk counters and goes for the Go to Sleep. Hardy elbows Punk and escapes the hold. Punk grabs his eye as if he's injured. Out of nowhere, Punk delivers a roundhouse kick to the referee, leading to a disqualification. WINNER: Jeff Hardy (by disqualification).
After the match, Jeff Hardy can't believe what happened. Neither can the fans as a "Bull Sh#t" chant breaks out. After the match, Hardy accuses Punk of intentionally getting disqualified. Hardy attacks Punk then rolls him into the ring for a beatdown. Hardy slugs away at Punk until a group of referees break things up. VIDEO: Highlights of Aranda playing a live set before The Bash. VIDEO: Hype video for tonight's Cena vs. The Miz match. 7. The Miz vs. John Cena: The match begins with Cena putting on a clinic against The Miz. Collar and elbow tieup. Cena grabs Miz' arm and powers him down to the mat. Stomp to Miz' knee. Cena begins punishing Miz with a headlock. Things are looking good for Cena until Miz catches Cena by surprise, dropping the back of Cena's neck onto the top rope. With Cena stunned, Miz does some damage to Cena. However Cena's recuperative powers shine through and he peppers Miz with punches followed by a shoulderbutt. Five Knuckle Shuffle on Miz. Cena lifts up Miz and hits the Attitude Adjustment. Cena isn't done as he places Miz in the STF. Miz quickly taps, giving Cena the win. WINNER: John Cena (by submission). 8. WWE Championship (Three Stages of Hell Match )- Randy Orton (Champion) vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley: This is a two out of three falls match. The first match is a normal match, the second a Falls Count Anywhere Match, and the third (if necessary) a Stretcher Match. Fall One: Triple H takes the fight to Orton, blasting him with punches. HHH slugs away at Orton in the corner, knocking him down. Triple H whips Orton into the corner and charges in, onl to run into a raised boot. Orton rolls outside the ring and tries to smash HHH's leg into the steel post but Helmsley kicks him off. When Orton returns to the ring, HHH is waiting to dish out more punishment. HHH goes for a Pedigree but Orton kicks him in his injured leg. Orton goes to work on Helmley's injured leg, dropping forearm smashes across it. Orton kicks HHH in the leg time after time, forcing Helmsley down to the mat. Orton grabs his opponent's leg and kicks it repeatedly. Orton drops his weight onto Helmsley's bad wheel, damaging it further. Helmsely struggles to get to his feet as Orton sizes him up for the RKO. However Helmsley counters, escaping the hold. Once again though, Orton targets HHH's bad leg, knocking him out of the ring. The referee begins counting the challenger out. When Hunter goes to climb in the ring, Orton kicks him in the head. Orton goes out after "The Cerebral Assassin" who has a chair and blasts Orton with it.
WINNER (Fall One): Randy Orton (by pinfall). After the first fall, HHH continues beating Orton with the chair. Orton rolls out of the ring as HHH follows him. FALL TWO (Falls Count Anywhere): Triple H wastes no time and attacks his fallen opponent, hitting the Pedigree on Orton. Cover and that's it. WINNER (Fall Two): Triple H (by pinfall). FALL THREE (Stretcher Match): HHH puts a near unconscious Orton on the stretcher and wheels him near the finish line. Before the stretcher crosses the line, Orton escapes it then drives the stretcher into HHH's bad knee. Orton follows up with a chop block and slowly walks towards Hunter. Hunter kicks Orton in the leg but Orton atomic drops Hunter onto the security barrier. Orton brawls with Helmsley in the crowd, dropping punches and forearms onto Helmsley's back. Orton then rams Orton's head into a security barrier near some ring equiplment. Helmsley fires off some punches of his own, sending Orton back towards the ring. Helmsley clotheslines Orton over the barrier, getting closer to the ring and stretcher. More punches by Helmsley send Orton down to the mat. HHH approaches Orton but Orton has removed the padding from the security barrier and he throws HHH into it. Orton drops HHH's leg onto the unforgiving metal of the exposed security barier. Orton grabs the stretcher and wheels it over to Helmsley. Orton puts HHH onto the stretcer but Orton gets up and punches Orton. Kick to the gut by Orton followed by an Irish Whip into the ring steps for Hunter. Helmsley rolls into the ring (not a bad move since it means Orton will have extra work to get his opponent back outside and on the stretcher). With Hunter down in the ring, Orton grabs some steel steps and throws them into the ring. Orton rolls into the ring then picks up the steps, ready to lower the boom on his foe. Hunter counters with a drop toehold and Orton falls facefirst into the steps. Helmsley grabs the steps and picks them up, blasting Orton in the head with them. Helmsley grabs the stretcher and pulls it near the ring. He then drags Orton out of the ring and rolls him onto the stretcher. HHH wheels Orton up the entrance ramp slowly but Orton kicks Helmsley in the head, slowing him down. Triple H climbs aboard and punches away, causing the stretcher to roll down the entrance ramp. Both men fall off the stretcher as it crashes. Orton puts HHH on the stretcher then gives him a DDT off of it. However Orton isn't getting up quick to capitalize on his fallen opponent. Orton finally gets up and goes for the Randy Orton Super Magic Punt Kick of Doom (TM Green Teabagger) to the head but HHH rolls aside. HHH then goes for the Pedigree on the entrance ramp. However Orton counters and backdrops Hunter onto the stretcher and begins wheeling him up the ramp. Right before the stretcher crosses the line, HHH rolls off of it. Orton prepares for the RKO but HHH counters, throwing Orton into the TitanTron. HHH then hits the Pedigree, driving Orton's skull into the metal floor. HHH picks up Orton and puts him on the stretcher. HHH is just inches away from the finish line but Cody Rhodes runs out for the save. Triple H fights off Rhodes, driving him into the TitanTron. Triple H goes to roll the stretcher over the finish line again only for Ted DiBiase to run in and attack Helmsley. Legacy doubleteam Helmsley, dropping him to the ground. Legacy go to help Orton but HHH lifts up a metal panel on the entranceway and pulls out his trusty sledgehammer. Helmsley blasts DiBiase and Rhodes with the sledgehammer. The numbers catch up with HHH as Orton kicks him in the groin then blasts him with the title belt. HHH falls onto the stretcher then rolls HHH over the finish line for the win.
WINNER (Fall Three): Randy Orton (Stretchers HHH over finish line).
MATCH WINNER: Randy Orton (Two out of three falls).
