Normally I would bring you the WWE Vintage Collection each and every week (The latest edition is up for your reading pleasure now), but tonight, I bring you WWE Over The Limit: In Your House. Tune in at the top of the hour for all the coverage.

Welcome to WWE Over The Limit: In Your House. The set includes various cars, to fit in with the title of the PPV, and here I was thinking 'Over The Limit' meant going over the number of jellybeans each wrestler could eat during the event.

Also, tonight marks the 11 year anniversary of the death of Owen Hart. At the Over The Edge PPV in 1999, Owen fell to his death, due to a faulty clip, holding him to a flying fox. The eerie thing is, this PPV is entitled 'Over The Limit', a very similar name to the one in which Owen lost his life. I hope nothing tragic happens tonight.

Oh, this isn't an In Your House PPV? Could've fooled me.

Let's get going with the first match.

MATCH#1: WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Kofi Kingston

I really enjoy Drew's music and video. It's one of the best in the WWE in my opinion

Kofi goes after McIntyre right from the get-go, and gets the early advantage, until both men hit the floor, where Drew gains control. Back in the ring, Kofi with a splash in the corner, and Mcintyre rolls to the outside. Here's where he gains control, sending Kofi into the apron, and then throwing him back into the ring. A gutbuster gets the champion a two count, so Drew applies a seated abdominal stretch. Kingston powers out, and nails a hip toss, but tries a leap frog which is countered by McIntyre. Both men try and get the advantage, and it's a good back and forth battle.

Kofi goes for Trouble In Paradise, Drew ducks and looks for the Double Arm DDT, but Kofi counters that, and nails the SOS! New Champion!!

YOUR WINNER AND NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: Kofi Kingston

Drew McIntyre is on the mic, and he calls out Teddy Long. Drew puts a halt to the PPV until Theodore R. comes out, and reverses the decision. Instead, he gets Matt Hardy.

A video showing how DiBiase/Truth came to be.

MATCH#2: R-Truth vs. Million Dollar Champion Ted DiBiase vs. Virgil

Tie-up, DiBiase tries to work on the arm, but it’s Truth with the arm drag. R-Truth pummels DiBiase in the corner, and then continues the assault, sending the Million Dollar champion to the outside. Virgil plays distraction, allowing Teddy Jr, to get in a cheap shot. Back in the ring, Virgil plays diversion again, allowing Ted to hit Truth with a necbreaker. DiBiase in total control, getting a near fall.

The crowd will Truth on, and he tries to fight back, but DiBiase stops the attack, and applies a sleeper hold. DiBiase heads to the second rope, but gets hit by R-Truth, so Truth looks for a superplex in the opposite corner, and nails it. Both men fight for control, DiBiase sends Truth to the mat, so Truth counters by crotching Teddy on the ropes. Truth in control, one clothesline, and another. A hip toss. The flatliner... two count! R-Truth channelling his inner Booker T, but misses with the Ax Kick, allowing the Million Dollar Champion to gain the advantage, nailing his opponent with an electric chair drop.

DiBiase looks for a punch, but Truth ducks and looks for a single leg takedown, but DiBiase makes the ropes. R-Truth nails DiBiase with a vertical suplex, into something that looked like the Stunner, but it only gets him two! R-Truth then connects with the Lie Detector, and gets three.

YOUR WINNER: R-Truth

Backstage, Teddy Long’s on the phone, when the former IC Champ, Drew McIntyre walks in. He demands the result be reversed. Teddy refuses. Drew demands that the result gets changed, and Matt Hardy gets fired. Teddy refused. McIntyre starts trashing Long’s office, until he gets to a picture of Martin Luther King. Long begged McIntyre to stop, and to not trash the picture, and McIntyre agrees, because Drew McIntyre was just like MLK.

A promo video for Punk/Mysterio plays.

MATCH#3: CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio

If Punk wins, Mysterio must join the S.E.S. If Mysterio wins, Punk must be shaved bald.

Punk comes out alone, as announcers say that everyone is banned from ringside. Mysterio enters, and Punk gestrues that Mysterio would pledge to the SES, however Rey Rey mocked it, so Punk comes after him with punches and stomps in the corner. Mysterio fires back with attacks of his own, but Punk gets behind him, and delivers a knee to the back. Punk looks for a backdrop, but Rey counters. However, Punk goes for it again, and sends Rey over the top rope. Punk looks to continue the attack, but Mysterio moves out of the way, and heads back in the ring. Rey comes back out, and hits Punk with a headscissors, before introducing Punk's arm to the chair.

Back in the ring, Mysterio with another headscissors, and Punk ends up in prime position for the 619, however he sees this coming and counters, sending Rey out of the ring right into the barber chair. A cut looks to have come on Punk's head, and the referee grabs a towel to stop the bleeding. A trainer comes to the ring, and treats the wound, as Rey still stays down on the outside. This is getting ridiculous, the match has stopped due to blood. It almost kills the match. Just because a few kids are watching, doesn't mean they should get rid of the blood. It's PPV, anything happens on PPVs, even blood. It adds to the spectacle. It's better than stopping the match completely.

We finally return to action, after we see Punk hit his head on the security wall, after a headscissors on the outside. Punk nails Rey with a baseball slide, whom has made his way to the apron. Rey meets the security wall this time, courtesy of CM Punk, then follows up with a suplex. Punk with what looked like a slingshot splash to Rey, sending him back in the ring, and then goes for the submission with a headscissors rest hold. Mysterio fights out, and starts to gain momentum. Sunset Flip gets Rey a two count, but Punk nails him with a clothesline, earning a two count of his own. Punk with strikes, trying to wound his opponent, but Rey fights back with a kick, followed by a Sunset Flip, into a Powerbomb, for a near fall.

Both men now exchanging attacks. CM Punk misses with the clothesline, Rey Rey off the ropes... springboard splash! 1...2...kick out. Mysterio connects with a springboard senton, then another, but it only gets him two. Rey continues on the attack, but Punk counters and sends him into the turnbuckle post. Punk looks for his high knee/bulldog in the corner, but Rey counters, and sets up Punk for the 619 once again. Punk counters again, this time nailing a backbreaker. 1...2...no, another near fall for CM Punk. Punk looking for the GTS, this could be over, Rey gets out, looking for the Hurracanrana, but Punk blocks it, and powerbombs Rey Rey into the corner. This time Punk gets in his bulldog from the corner, but it only brings him two. Punk in frustration, fires a series of attacks at his opponent, and again, another near fall.

Punk comes at Mysterio again, but Rey gets in an elbow, then looks for the Springboard Moonsault. Punk grabs him and looks for the GTS once again. Mysterio counters with an arm drag, sending Punk to the ropes for the 619!! Mysterio looking to finish it off with the splash from the top rope, but Punk moves, and Rey Rey crashes and burns. CM Punk looks for the cover, Rey counters into a roll , and gets the three!!

YOUR WINNER: Rey Mysterio

Punk has to get his head shaved! But, here come the rest of S.E.S, and they have handcuffs. Wait a minute, here comes KANE!? to save Mysterio! Chokeslam to Punk, and Kane leaves brawling with Gallows. Mysterio grabs the handcuffs, and cuffs Punk to the ropes for another 619. Now the cutting begins. Punk is still bleeding from earlier in the match, as Rey cuts away. He gets a fair piece off before Serena can get Punk away. She covers his head, but Mysterio comes after them with a mirror, to show Punk his new do.

What does this mean now for the S.E.S? What happened to the masked man from previous weeks? It would've been more fun if Mysterio joined Punk, but Rey is a hero for the children, which would make Maude Flanders happy that somebody is actually thinking of them.

The next time the WWE is on PPV, is for 'Fatal Four Way', in which both the World, and WWE titles will be on the line in Four-Way matches. Is it just me, or did they just run out of ideas when it came to naming PPVs?

Jericho runs into Big Show backstage, and thanked him for allowing he and the Miz to become a tag team. Y2J then said that they would walk out with the Tag Team titles, whereas Show would leave with nothing. Big Show made fun of both of them, then warned them that he could knock them out at anytime. This seemed to scare off the dynamic duo.

MATCH#4: WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith/Tyson Kidd) (c) w/Natalya vs. Chris Jericho/The Miz

A review of last week's events show, where Bret Hart defeated the Miz for the United States Title. Miz and Kidd start, and The Miz gains the upper hand early. However Kidd gains control with a series of shots, before tagging in his partner, for a stalling suplex, and a near fall. The Designated Hitter takes down Miz, then takes out Jericho. He then takes his own partner, and sends him onto their opponents on the outside.

Back in the ring, Kidd applies a front facelock, to the Miz, but he is able to make the tag to Jericho, who breaks up the hold. Jericho with a backdrop, but Kidd lands on his feet, and drops Jericho with a spinning kick. Tag to Smith, and a double legdrop brings his team two. Smith charges, but Jericho gets the foot up, and drops the son of the British Bulldog with a dropkick from the ropes. Jericho gains control, but Smith hits a slam for a near fall. Miz gets the tag, and stops DH from tagging out. Miz with a chinlock, but is countered with the second sighting of an electric chair drop for the night.

Both men make the tag, and Kidd cleans house, firing on all cylinders. Miz gets sent off the apron, then a rollup on Jericho gets him two. Tyson looks for the Hurracanrana, but Jericho counters into the Walls. Kidd somehow manages to get to the ropes, and actually attempt a springboard attack, but Jericho counters that into the CodeBreaker! 1....2.....NO! The match continues. Y2J argues with the referee, and Kidd gets a kick in. DH Smith gets the tag, and clotheslines both challengers.

Miz gets sent to the outside, but Smith runs into a Jericho elbow. DH fights back however, with a Powerslam, and a near fall. DH lifts up Jericho, but he gets out of it, and Miz trips up DH, allowing Jericho to get a near fall with a rollup. This time it's the Miz arguing with the man in the stripes, whilst Natalya gets involved, tripping up Jericho. DH whips Jericho against the ropes, but a blind tag is made. Miz nails DH with a back-neck breaker combo, and a near fall. Miz looks for the Sharpshooter, but Smith counters into a rollup for two. Miz went for a clothesline through the ropes, but Smith caught Miz in a Bearhug, tagged in Kidd, and they hit the Hart Attack to retain the gold.

YOUR WINNERS: Hart Dynasty

A great video shows for Orton vs. Edge.

MATCH#5: Randy Orton vs. Edge

Both men try to get the upper hand early, and it's Orton who does in the end, countering Edge with a clothesline. Randy pummels Edge, finishing with a catapult against the bottom rope, and a kick to the gut sends the Rated R superstar to the outside. Edge counters, sending Orton into the security wall, then dropping RKO ribs first onto the same wall. Edge sends Orton back into the ring, to get a near fall.

Edge continues in control, until Randy has a brief comeback. This is short lived as Edge clips the knee, then applies a body scissors. Edge then includes a chinlock in the hold, and Randy eventually fights out with elbows. Edge drops Orton across the ropes, and heads up top. Randy heads up as well, as they fight on top. Edge headbutts Randy to the mat, but Randy wishbones Edge on the top rope, and nails the superplex.

Both men fight for the upper hand, and Orton gets in a Powerslam for the near fall. Edge counters a whip, and looks for the advantage, but Orton gets in his DDT., Edge is able to break the count with a rope break, then rolls outside. Edge looking for the Spear, but Orton counters, and looks for the RKO. However, he is favouring his right arm. Orton kicks Edge to the outside, and the brawl continues. Edge shoves Randy, and looks for the spear, but he connects with the security wall instead. This leads to a double countout.

YOUR WINNER: No-One (Double Countout)

Randy looks to have injured his right arm, as trainers come to help him away from ringside.

Promo video for Swagger/Show airs

MATCH#6: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Jack Swagger (c) vs. Big Show

Swagger tries some wrestling moves, but Show just shrugs him away. The champ goes to regroup, so Show taunts him with push-ups. Back in the ring, and the Big Show has control. A few chops, followed by a choke on the middle rope, has the champ reeling early. Show looks for the chokeslam, but Swagger rolls out of the ring, and manages to hang Big Show up on the ropes.

Swagger with a chop block, knocking the big man down to his knees. A shoulder block sends him down, and a coouple of Vader Bombs in the corner, only gets Swagger a two count. The Champion looks for a front facelock, but Show shoves him away to the mat. Big Show hits a couple of clotheslines, then nails Swagger in the corner, and follows it up with a shoulder attack. Big Show looking for the chokeslam, but Swagger gets out of it. Show ends up pushing Jack over the ropes and onto the floor. Swagger grabs his title belt, and sees this as a good opportunity to get the DQ, and get out of this In Your House PPV.

YOUR WINNER: Big Show (via DQ)

Swagger continues the attack, using the belt again, and a steel chair to try and keep Big Show grounded. This just seemed to anger the giant, as when he finally got up, Swagger received a chokeslam, then a chair shot to the back, then a chokeslam on the chair, then the knockout punch. Let's just say that Swagger couldn't walk out on his own power.

Why is it, that every time Jack Swagger speaks, I automatically picture Dusty Rhodes?

Josh Mathews interviews Batista. Batista goes on about how Cena quit last week, and how he will again tonight.

MATCH#7: WWE DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP

Eve (c) vs. Maryse

Somebody burn the butterfly. Please. Where's Kane when you need him?

Oh Joy, a Divas match. This is sure to get the blood pumping. What are the odds that this match will become one of the true classic matches in WWE history? Not very likely is my guess. But alas, I must continue.

Maryse gets control early, sending Eve into the ringpost, and then shoving her face first onto the match for a one count. Maryse channels her inner Big Show by walking on Eve's back, then locking in a chin lock. Eve fought out of it, only to be sent back down by the French-Canadian? Canadien? Who knows. Maryse pulls Eve's hair, because there in high school, stretching her using the ropes in the process, and sending Eve to the floor with a knee. Maryse looks to attack with a kick, but Eve moves, and Maryse kicks the ringpost instead.

Back in the ring, and Eve hits a clothesline, and a couple of dropkicks. Maryse responds with a slap, because she's in high school, so Eve gives her a knee to the mid section, and slams her to the mat. A standing moonsault gets Eve two, and a Sunset Flip gets Eve another two, before Maryse responds with a kick to the face.

Both women punch the other, then Eve face plants Maryse for a two. Eve looks for a senton, but Maryse gets the knees up. Maryse looks for the French Kiss to finish, but Eve counters, driving Maryse to the mat, and getting the pinfall victory.

YOUR WINNER: Eve

Eve actually did some wrestling moves in this match, which surprised me a little. Otherwise, same old same old from the Divas.

MAIN EVENT: WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

I QUIT MATCH

John Cena (c) vs. Batista

Before I continue, I must say, my hands are near frozen right about now. It looks like we've Winter early in the Land Down Under, and it's not exactly helping my hands find warmth.

John Cena gets a huge pop from the crowd, as the championship introduction begins. Batista then grabs a mic, and gives Cena one last chance to quit. Cena decides to hit Batista with the micrphone, and our main event is underway. Batista fights back, punishing the Champion as he sends him into the ringpost. Cena comes back with two shoulder blocks, and a back suplex. He then connects with the Five-Knuckle Shuffle, and looks for the Attitude Adjustment early, but Batista fights out of the move, and uses the referee as a barricade between he and Cena. Big Dave then kicks Cena, and follows it up with a Spear.

Batista locks in his double armbar submission, and Cena refuses to quit. He escapes, and applies the STF on Batista. Batista makes it to the ropes, but that doesn't do anything in this match, and Dave ends up passing out. Is the match over that quickly? The referee tries to get a response from Batista, as Cena heads outside and grabs a bottle of water to splash in the face of the Animal. This seems to wake Batista, whom waits for Cena to come near, so he can hit a spinebuster. Dave follows this with a Batista Bomb, and Cena wants to continue.

Big Dave heads outside, and re-arranges the announce tables. I just realized the Spanish announce table is still standing... I wonder for how long. Both men try to put the other through, but it's Batista who succeeds, slamming Cena through the table. This brings out the trainer again, as Cena is busted wide open. Batista tells him that he'd better come back later and fix Cena up again, as he's gonna need it.

This match quickly becomes a Pier 13 brawl, as Batista takes Cena into the crowd. Cena refuses to quit, which causes Batista to send him over a rail. Big Dave looks to Batista Bomb him in the crowd!, but Cena fights out, and sends Batista across the other side of the rail, and onto a pile of security guards. (Damn, I wanted to see Cena get Batista bombed in the crowd, also the crowd could almost run rampant, as Batista took out security, but that didn't happen either. Sure woulda made things fun though.)

They fight all the way to the entrance way, where Batista finds a chair, and gives Cena's mid section a close-up view. Then his back twice. Then the ribs again. Then the back five times. John Cena still refuses to quit, so Batista hits him with the chair once again. Big Dave then jumps in one of the cars on the set, and starts it up. What are the odds that the person who parked it there, said to someone "Now, remember where I parked". Batista throws it into reverse, and goes after Cena, however he isnt there. Batista then parks the car in the entrance way, and takes out some lights. Remind me not to let Dave Batista reverse-park my car.

Cena comes from somewhere, and starts attacking Batista, ramming him against the car (Probably for his poor reverse-park job). Cena then nails the Attitude Adjustment on the hood of the car, and asks Batista that magical question. Where do fairies come from?.. just joking, it was if he quit of not. Batista said no, and Cena replies with " I was hoping you'd say that", before delivering another Attitude Adjustment onto the roof of the car. Finally Batista quits, and Cena retains.

YOUR WINNER: John Cena

However, Cena wasn't done, and delievered a third Attitude Adjustment. This one, sending Batista through the stage (The rumours of him leaving may have just been confirmed right here). As thr trainers scramble to help Batista, who should arrive but Sheamus, who nailed Cena with a pump kick. The Celtic Warrior stands over the Champ, as Over The Limit ends.

OVERALL: Over The Limit: In Your House was... ok. The rumours of Batista leaving look to be true, with Sheamus looking like being involved in the WWE Championship match in some form at the next PPV. The new United States Champion, Bret Hart, did not appear however. I was hoping for maybe a small speech, with it being the anniversary of Owen's death, but nothing like that occurred. The Hart Dynasty winning may have been the WWE's tribute, so to speak. Cena and Batista showed good variety from their matches previous, and the Edge/Orton match seemed to end rather quickly after Orton injury to his arm. Let's hope it's nothing serious for Mr. RKO.
