VIDEO:  Hype video for Slammiversary.  Congratulations to TNA on their latest success (6 years of Total Nonstop Action!) Who would have thought that the promotion that started with the Johnsons and the Dupp Cup would be here so long.

Mike Tenay reminds the fans that Kaz won a title shot by escaping the Terrordome at the last TNA PPV.

1.  X Division Championship Match:  Kaz vs. "Maple Leaf Muscle" Petey Williams (Champion) w. Scott Steiner & Rhaka Khan: Petey Williams is wearing protective facewear after suffering a broken orbital bone.  That doesn't stop Petey from applying an arm bar and keeping Kaz trapped in it.  Kaz rolls his way out, reversing the hold until Petey escapes.  Petey charges Kaz and gets a arm drag takedown for his trouble.  Petey and Kaz exchange pin attempts but neither man is successful.  Kaz clotheslines Williams then kicks him in the corner.  Williams bails out of the ring to regroup where Scott Steiner encourages him.  Williams charges Kaz only to get hip tossed and kcicked.  Springboard legdrop by Kaz.  Cover on Williams for a two count.  Williams bails out again.  The pressure is getting to him.  Kaz follows Williams outside and throws Williams in the ring.  Rhaka Khan gets in Kaz' face, distracting him.  This sets up Kaz for Williams to hit a Tornado DDT off the mat apron.  Williams throws Kaz into the ring.    Kaz poses over over Kaz.  Williams does some push-ups, playing mind games.  Kaz catches Williams charging him and goes for a roll-up, getting a two count.  Williams knocks Kaz out of the ring then hits a hurricarana on Williams.  Williams gives Kaz the paintbrush treatment outside the ring before tossing him back in the ring.  Williams kicks away at Kaz' arm.  Over the knee backbreaker followed by a neckbreaker to Kaz.  Cover for a two count.  Williams gets on top of Kaz and unloads with punches.  Williams vontinues a varied offense, going for an armbreaker on Kaz.  After hitting the move, Kaz tries to punch his way back onto the offensive but Williams stops him cold with an eyerake.  Kaz is taken down to the mat as Williams applies a headlock to Ka.  Kaz fires off some punches but Williams kicks him.  Williams and Kaz bounce off the ropes.  Kaz flips over Williams' back and catches him square with a kick to the head.  The referee begins counting both men out but Williams beats the count.  Exchange of blows between Kaz and Williams but only Kaz is hitting.  Kaz  hits a high cross bodyblock.  Cover on Williams for a two count. After the match, Steiner and Khan give Kaz the stomp-down. "Big Poppa Pump" gets on the stick and wants to know why he isn't on the PPV.  Steiner tells Kaz he knows he has a world title shot this week on Impact.  Apparently Steiner is going to make sure Kaz won't be in any shape to make it.  Just then, the lights go out and Abyss shows up.  Steiner throws Williams into Abyss who gets Black Hole Slammed for his trouble.  Steiner gets the same treatment.  Abyss goes after Khan and delivers the Black Hole Slam to Ms. Khan.  Abyss is back!
