Sorry about the lack of preview tonight people. You find your real-timer not at his best. High School reunion last night and all that. Still hurting. Particularly a sore neck and a mild headache, but in one particular spot at the side. Rather annoying, especially when your pill-popping days and fatness mean aspirin doesn't do the trick. And yes, it is at this point I'd like to apologise wholeheartedly to CM Punk. Anyway, HERE WE GO!
Our opening video tonight is looking back at Survivor Series over the years since the beginning. Well at least until 1990 when they tangent off to Undertaker. They give up on the retrospective entirely to make mention of the 2 male 5 vs. 5 matches, Rey vs. Batista and finally the WWE Title match. The women still get no respect. But then again, the apparent collective hysteria over "Piggy James" would send people into a rabies-like lather.
Basic set tonights with some cylindrical stuff at the side. Cole welcomes us to the show.
Team JoMo (John Morrison, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy & Finlay) vs. Team Miz (The Miz, Jack Swagger, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler) in a "If Shelton Benjamin can get a spot in this match, where's Zack Ryder, damn it???" Traditional Survivor Series match
In his introduction, J-Ro noted that the people who win the match will be declared the "Sole Survivors". How do you have a plural in singlular? Jerry Lawler finally pipes up, but so does Matt Striker out of nowhere when Dolph Ziggler comes out after The Miz so I'm guessing they're going with the open mics. Swagger is out next, followed by MA BOY~! Drew McIntyre. Sheamus finishes his team, and it's NOT Open All Mics. It's just Cole, Lawler & Striker.
Evan Bourne comes out first for his team, oddly enough, since Miz led out his team. Finlay is next, and yet again, he's still happy-go-lucky despite what happened on Friday. Matt hardy is next and they wonder if Matt Hardy is 100% after his beating by Batista. I'm also noting a distinct lack of pyro thus far from the people who should have had it. It's Benjamin and then finally Morrison. Cole says Morrison is still pissed at losing to Miz at Bragging Rights. And it has to be said, Sheamus sticks out a country -mile alongside his comparitively leather-coloured teammates. Swagger & Bourne start off. Bourne uses his early and gets an early rollup for 2. Swagger powers Evan with a suplex and tags in Ziggler. Rolling necksnap by Dolph. Cole says we're looking at the future of the WWE with ten great young superstars. FINLAY IS IN THIS MATCH. Ziggler hits his elbow drops, but it only gets 2. Swagger comes back in and puts on a front chancery. Evan tries to fight out and kinda does, but Ziggler tags in. Evan didn't notice and hit the knees to Swagger, but Ziggler got the drop on bourne and lock on a nice looking Single leg crab. Bourne kicked Dolph off and hit an awesome reverse-hurricanrana for 2. He managed to tag in Matt Hardy, and the pair hit a double standing elbow from the second rope. Side Effect by Hardy. Evan tags back in and hits Air Bourne for the three count.
DOLPH ZIGGLER IS ELIMINATED
Drew comes in and hits the DDT for three.
EVAN BOURNE IS ELIMINATED
Finlay comes in and the pair start fighting. Finlay hit the rolling Samoan Drop, but Drew managed ot tag Sheamus. NORTHERN IRELAND vs. REPUBLIC OF IRELAND!
Sheamus hits a massive boot after a staredown for three
FINLAY IS ELIMINATED
Matt Hardy comes in and gets shots in on Finlay. The Side Effect is blocked and Sheamus hits a powerslam for a 2 count.
Sheamus takes control and works Hardy over before tagging in The Miz. Miz takes the ref and the heels get a shot in on Hardy before Miz picks up 2. Miz puts on a chinlock with a knee in the back. Hardy fights out, but Miz hits a backbreaker for a 2 count. Front Chancery by Miz as he heads back towards his corner. Hardy gets back up and hits a Side Russian Leg Sweep to create seperation.Swagger gets the tag and he easily cuts Hardy off. He drives a shoulder into Hardy in the corner. A charge is blocked though. Hardy is swivelled round and clubbed in the back before being slammed down. Swagger locks in a chinlock, but Hardy is up quick, and he locks in a sleeper before dropping down for a neckbreaker. Again, both teams look to tag and Morrison gets in and he cuts Swagger off. Morrison hit the running kick to the seated Swagger for a 2 count. Whip is reversed and Morrison is sent in hard. The Vader bomb misses though and Morrison looks for Starship Pain. Miz distracted him though but Swagger's slam was blocked and he hit the Flying Chuck. The match broke down a bit as the othersa came in and in the melee the ref was downed. Swagger looked to finish, but Morrison blocked again and downed Swagger, hitting Starship Pain for the three.
JACK SWAGGER IS ELIMINATED
The Miz comes in and attacks Morrison. Miz sets Morrison up and hits the corner clothesline. Miz goes up top with an axehandle for a 2 count. Miz locks in a chinlock with a knee in the back. Morrison is up quick and he elbows out. Benjamin gets the blind tag and rolls Miz up for 2. Shelton hits a back suplex and leaps over Miz to the top and comes back with a press. Sintger Splash by Shelton and a Northern Lights gets a 2 count. Apparently the ref that went down is legit out. Benjamin hits a German with a bridge for a 2 count. The ref that's down is Scott Armstrong and it looks like an accident. Suffice to say, Sheamus was the culprit. And Sheamus got a shot in on Benjamin allowing Miz to hit his finisher for the elimination.
SHELTON BENJAMIN IS ELIMINATED
Matt Hardy came in as Drew McIntyre tagged in. Drew took control and hit a headbutt , but a charge after a whip was avoided by Matt. He hit a neckbreaker on Drew before heading to the second rope for the leg drop, whcih connected. That only scored 2. He hit another neckbreaker and went up again, but Sheamus cut off the moonsault, and when he went for it, Drew moved before hitting the Kobashi DDT for another elimination.
MATT HARDY IS ELIMINATED
My prediction came true. JoMo vs. Drew, Sheamus & Miz. Morrison takes control on McIntyre, but drew comes back quickly and works Morrison over. Sheamus tags in and pounds on Morrison. Miz is loving it, and he tags in. He kicks Morrison down and trash talks. They engage in something of a slugfest, which Morrison wins with a jumping heel kick. Miz is able to tag out though, to Sheamus. He drives Morrison into his corner, allowing Drew & Miz to gets their licks in. Morrison fights out the corner though and hits the Pele on Miz when his hair is grabbed. The Flying Chuck is blocked with a kick though and Sheamus looks for the Cruifix Bomb though which he hits for the win!
SURVIVORS: THE MIZ, DREW McINTYRE & SHEAMUS
We see some of the National Guard in the front row. I hope they're booing the heels win. We then cut back to Kofi's team. Christian doesn't seem involved. He's on the same page, but something was bugging him. He's different to MVP, Kofi, Henry & Truth. You get me? But Christian was still worried. He was the only one from ECW... Al;l the black guys breathe a sign of relief. But Christian thought that was because he's the only Canadian. But Cage could relate to Truth, since Canadian's made great rappers too. And yes, while Tomko wasn't there to not provide a beat, be bust a small rhyme. However, the other's didn't seem entirely impressed. But it was in fun as they all started laughing.

Cole mentions the healthcare biull before pluuging their theme by THE ART OF DYING. You think Vince is a Republican?
Apparently Batista vs. Rey is up next as they send it to a video of the hype.
Rey Mysterio vs. Batista in a "Only one of these men signed an indemnity waiver..." match
I know I should be writing "Hold harmless agreement", but it sounds silly to me. The words don't really scan right. Plus, Indemnity waiver is shorter. And speaking of shorter, here comes Rey! It's also a nice touch that they've taken out Batista's pyro, since it was one to get the crowd excited. That said, given that they are in his hometown, the pop is still pretty babyface out of the blocks. Rey used his speed early and cut out the legs putting Batista in 619 position, but Batista was out the way well in time. He pulled Rey out the ring and slammed his back into the corner of the apron. Rey continued to use his speed to tick and move, but Batista ducked under a springboard and came back with a clothesline. Crowd is pretty much on Batista's side here, at least right now. Batista sets to finish, but Rey gets out. He runs into a Batista but goes for a sunset flip Dave powers out and looks to slam again, btu again Rey slips out, but this time chop blocks Dave down. He again looks for the 619, but Batista catches him. Dave again looks for the powerbomb, but Rey headscissors him out of the ring. He then hits a baseball slide, sending Batista into the guardrail. Rey hits the apron and hits a seated senton on the floor. Batista puts on somehting of a claw, but back in the ring, Rey manageds to hit a 619 to the back. He then hits one to the gut befoe hitting a normal one to the head. Rey then hits a seated senton of the springboard. Rey goes up top and channels Eddie and his mannerisms TO BOOING, but his frog splash met with knees.
Batista comes out of the blocks with a big spear. Spinebuster. Batista Bomb. But no pin. Crowd is eating this up. Some indeed chant for more. Batista takes off his elbowpads and hits a second Batista Bomb. Still no pin, and the crowd, MUCH louder this time, want another. Batista picks up a limp Rey and hits a third Bomb to a huge pop. The referee stops the match.
WINNER: BATISTA
The trainers check on Rey, but Batista comes back into the ring with a chair. However, instead of getting to whacking, he hits down over Rey as the crowd goes nuts for their hometown boy. He folds the chair and puts it down. He picks up Rey, and despite Rey's pleading, hits a big spinebuster right onto the chair. Again, the crowd want more, but Batista takes his leave properly this time, as they now bring in a backboard.
We sit on Rey being put on the backboard all the time, other than a replay of the finishes and spinebuster on the chair. Striker awesomely reasons that given the way Rey's feet are pointing, there may be hip displacement.
We cut backstage to see Randy Orton's team, and he expected more from them. He expected Regal to be ECW Champion. He expected Priceless to be the 2 guys he handpicked to be the future and he expected to be with the current Straight Edge Champion. Punk said he expected Randy to be Champ and not embarrassed by Kofi on Monday. Orton said they can erase these things by dominating tonight. They head out, interestingly with Punk and Regal bringing up a definite rear.
RAW Commerical for a Thanksgiving episode. I'll be covering that for Mallory as well as doing this tonight, so really, I'm just as worked as the WWE Creative team.
Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry, Christian & R-Truth) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, William Regal & CM Punk) in a "I wonder how many will complain that Kofi will have been buried if he gets anything but all 5 eliminations on the heels..." Traditional Survivor Series match
Punk comes out first and Cole tries to out-geek Striekr by saying that Punk is "The Elliot Ness Of Smackdown". Suffice to say, even Jerry Lawler was like "WAT~!?" Regal is next followed by Legacy and then Orton. Well, if Kofi leads his team out, I'm immediately taking it as to mean his team is winning, since Morrison was last for his team and lost, while Miz was a proper leader and won. As Orton came out, they pimped TLC next month, with it having a vaguely Modern Warfare 2 graphic. And indeed, Kofi comes out first for his team. So yeah, you have your winning team as far as I'm concerned. As Kofi came out, we went back to Monday night and the AWESOME brawl that the pair had.
MVP and Henry were out next, but seperately, which isn't normal for them these days. Cole said that Henry and MVP like to call themselves The World's Strongest Tag Team. Okay... Christian is next as we see Regal and Punk talking. Truth and his rap round things out, much to Punk's chagrin, as he has to be held back. Unfortunately, Christian doesn't get to chant "What's Up?"...
Orton stands stoically in the ring and Kofi looks like he wants to start, but Mark Henry steps up, so he starts. A whip is blocked and Henry reversed before hitting a splash into the heel corner. However, he knocks all the heels off the apron before grabbing Orton in a bearhug. However, Regal distracts the ref, Legacy break up the bearhug and Orton hits the RKO for the elimination!
MARK HENRY IS ELIMINATED
The heels rally at ringside while MVP steps in the ring. MVP & Orton lock up and it heads back to Orton's corner where Cody tags in. He gets a few shots before Ted gets a go. Same again before Regal comes in. Same again as Punk comes in. He breaks the cycle by snapmaring MVP over into a chinlock, but MVP is out quick and he hits an overhead throw before tagging in Truth. Truth gets the upperhand, hitting pucnhes and a throw. Truth ducks Punk's offense, but Punk catches him and hits the GTS for the three count.
R-TRUTH IS ELIMINATED
Christian comes into the ring with Punk. Christian gets a rollup for a 2 count. He knocks Punk down for another quick 2 count, but Punk hits a scoop slam and tags in Ted DiBiase. A fist drop gets 2. Ted fights out of the reverse DDT and drops Christian for 2. Christian blocks DreamStreet, but Ted blocks the Killswitch. However, Christian gets the sunset flip in the corner and the three count.
TED DiBIASE IS ELIMINATED
Regal comes in and wants the Knee Trembler, but Christian blocks with a dropkick, before tagging in Kofi. Kofi gets the mounted punches in the corner, but he avoids a crossbody out of another one, tagging in Cody. Regal comes back in.
Regal and Kofi brawel a bit, but Regal gets the upperhand, although MVP gets the blind tag and hits the Chono Kick for three.
WILLIAM REGAL IS ELIMINATED
Cody comes in and gets pinned for 2 a couple of times by MVP before Christian comes in. Rhodes throws Christian off out the corner for 2 before locking in a bodyscissors. Christian fights out, but Orton comes in and downs Christian for a 2 count. He stomps Christian in the gut before bringing Rhodes back in. However, he misses a knee drop and Christian tags MVP. MVP floats over Cody in the corner and hits the facebuster off the knee. The BALLIN~! elbow follows, but Orton distracts the Playmaker and Cody hits CrossRhodes for the three count.
MVP IS ELIMINATED
Kofi comes in and gets a rollup for 2. Christian comes back in off the tag with an armwrginer. Kofi back in and he comes down on Cody's arm. He hits a leaping splash on Cody for 2. Christian back in again. Cody takes control, but after some punches, Christian leaps over a Cody charge in the corner and hits the Killswitch for three.
CODY RHODES IS ELIMINATED
Orton comes in for his team, and pulls Christian into the turnbuckle. Orton hits a big knee drop on Christian and then knock Kofi off the apron. Punk distract Christian, but the RKO is blocke.d Christian hits the Killswitch! But Punk breaks up the pin. As Christian brawls with Punk, Orton waits and hits the RKO for the pin.
CHRISTIAN IS ELIMINATED
It's down to Punk & Orton vs. Kofi. Orton decides he doesn't want anything of Kofi Kingston, so he tags Punk in. The two men have a staredown as Orton hangs around on the outside watching. They start brawling, with Kingston getting the better of it, but Punk gets Kofi up. The GTS is avoided, but so it Trouble In Paradise. Kofi hits a dropkick and the SOS but only scores 2. Punk comes back with shots before snapping Kofi over and hitting a couple of kicks to the back for a 2 count. Punk locks on a headscissors on the mat. Kofi uses his agility to kick Punk in the head to get out of it as Orton still doesn't stand on the apron. Punk gets a scoop slam for a 2 count before locking a bodyscissors on. Kingston manages to elbow out of the hold and get back to his feet, but another splash is met with knees. Punk hooks Kofi, blows a kiss and hits a sitout suplex for a 2 count. Punk sets himself in the corner and waits for Kofi so he can hit the high knee in the dcorner, but the bulldog is countered with a back suplex. Kofi heads out and up top. However, Punk is up quick and he cuts Kofi off. Punk looks for the superplex, but Kofi fights him off. Punk cuts him off again though. But again Kofi blocks and knocks Punk down. Kingston hits a flying crossbody for a close 2 count. Jumping heel kick by Kofi is followed by a leaping clothesline. Kofi looks for the Boom Drop, but Orton causes the ditraction. Puink gets a rollup and Kofi reversed for three.
CM PUNK IS ELIMINATED
ORTON RUNS IN AND IS HIT WITH TROUBLE IN PARADISE! KOFI WINS!
SURVIVOR: KOFI KINGSTON
Cole notes that Kofi beat 2 former World Champions in six seconds.
We see a shot of Washington before the announcers talk about the World Title match, sending it back to Smackdown as we saw the end of the Brothers Of Destruction vs. JeriShow as, well, you read my Smackdown review right? RIGHT?
The Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho in a "A Champion vs. A Tag Team?" match for the WWE World Title
JeriShow come out, but seperately, while Lawler sells out John Morrison's entrance by changing his mind from earlier and deciding that Taker's entrance is the best. Cole, naturally, notes this was the event Taker debuted at, quoting Gorilla Monsoon. TONY THE CHIM~! gives it the main event introductions. The tag champs surround Taker to begin with and work him over in the corner. Taker fights out, but JeriShow stick with their stratwegy with Jericho holding Taker and Show punching away. They down Taker in the corner, but Show picks him up and whips him across hard before clotheslining him. Jericho runs in and clotheslines Taker out. However, Taker landed on his feet and pulled Jericho for a brawl at ringside. Show joins them, but Taker puts some shots in of his own. However a splahs on Jericho at the guardrail misses and Taker's croched on the timekeepers section. Jericho holds Taker for Show to hit a big blow to the gut. Jericho grabbed a mic and hit Taker in the head with it, Triple Threat's being ostensibly No DQ of course. Back in the ring, Jericho stomps on Taker in the corner before allowing Big Show to stand on Taker. Jericho chokes from the outside, but Taker fights him off, but Show picks him up and downs him again. The champs whipped Taker across, but Show whipped Jericho across only for Chris to miss. Taker came off the ropes and hit the flying clothesline to Show. Show was stomped out the ring and Taker hit a couple of splashes. Snake Eyes, but the boot was cut off by Big Show who pulled Taker out. However, Taker slipped out of Show's grasp and sent him into the steps. Jericho went for the springboard dropkick, but Taker punched out a counter. Taker wrung the arm and went up for Old School, but Jericho took out the legs and to crotch him. Jericho headed up and looked for the superplex, but Taker knocked him down. Jericho was up again quick, and this time scored with the superplex.#
Striker begged Jericho to make a cover, which prompted Lawler to get Striker to confirm he was pulling for Jericho, whcih he was. Jericho looked for the Walls Of Jericho, which he got on. Taker started trying to drag himself to the ropes, but Jericho inched Taker back to the centre. However, Big Show reappeared and he grabbed Jericho to hit a chokeslam. He then grabbed Taker, but Taker countered with a DDT. This left all three men down. Jericho was the first to stir and he covered Taker, but only scored a 2 count. He pinned Show, but Show kicked out with MASSIVE authority at 2. This left Show & Taker in the ring as Y2J spilled out. Slugfest with the giants, but Show went for another chokeslam. Taker countered with a choke of his own. Jericho ran in with the belt, but Taker moved and Jericho whacked Big Show with the title. Taker downed Jericho and scored a 2 count. Taker stomped Show out the ring. He then looked for The Last Ride on Jericho, but Jericho used the title on Taker's head this time to counter. Jericho slowly went for the cover, and thusly only scored 2. He made another cover, but again for just 2. Much like Friday, Jericho mocked Taker's throat slit, but the Tombstone was countered by Taker. However, Big Show came back in with the KO Punch to Taker. Show covered, but Jericho broke the pin. Jericho covered, but Big Show broke. The Codebreaker to Show was blocked, and Show hit the KO punch. Show pondered who he should go after, and chose Undertaker, taking down his straps. However, he taunted Taker while in the choke, allowing Taker to grab the arm and lock in Hells gate, forcing Big Show to tap out.
WINNER & STILL CHAMPION: THE UNDERTAKER
Taker is bleeding from the mouth/lip. Not badly, but you can see it. We follow Taker posing with the belt before he leaves and holds the title up on the stage as he is want to do.
We cut backstage to The Miz, Drew McIntyre & Sheamus for reactions. Miz said they witnessed tonight a TINY bit of the greatness the three of them had. Miz said he's proved he's the talent of his former team with Morrison. When some have to get out of their mother's basement and go to their crappy jobs, the three fo them are revolutionising the industry. Drew said we saw what Vince McMahon said when he brought him to Smackdown. Sheamus said it was too easy. Since downing Jamie Noble, he's found it hard to find decent opponents, just like tonight. Miz said HE WAS THE MIZ AND HE WAS AWESOME! That's obviously not a direct quote, but it makes grammatical sense.
Team Mickie (Mickie James, Melina, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim) vs. Team Michelle (Michelle McCool, Layla, Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall & Alicia Fox) in a "Over/Under on botched spots???" Traditional Survivor Series match
Yeah, like this was main eventing... Team M.C.Cool make their way out, en masse. You know, because they're not men and thusly are somehow not important enough for seperate entrances. Mickie's team out together too, all bouncing on their way down. Yay for boobies! Striker picks up on the sprightlyness of the entrance as well. Kelly and Layla start off. Layla takes Kelly down before hitting a couple of shots for a quick 2 count. Layla hits a spinning kick in the corner before making another cover for a 2 count. Kelly floats over a cover and hits a clothesline before hitting the leg drop to the back of the head for three.
LAYLA IS ELIMINATED
Michelle comes in and sends Kelly into her corner, bringing Gail in. Gail scores a slingshot sunset flip, but they're too close to the ropes. A headscissors is blocked into the Faith Breaker for three.
GAIL KIM IS ELIMINATED
Eve comes in and gets a roll up for 2 on Michelle. Jillian Hall comes in off the tag with the cartwheel elbow for a 2 count. Hairmare by Jillian. Eve flips out of a slam, but Jillian avoids a dropkick. Jillian with a bridge pin for 2. Eve is set in the corner, but the handsrping elbow is block. Eve goes up and gets a sunset flip for three.
JILLIAN HALL IS ELIMINATED
Peth Phoenix comes in and hit the Glam Slam for three
EVE IS ELIMINATED
Kelly runs in, gets downed and hit with the Glam Slam.
KELLY KELLY IS ELIMINATED
Mickie James comes in and takes out Beth's leg on a low dropkick. Mickie gets a cruifix pin for three on Beth.
BETH PHOENIX IS ELIMINATED
Beth, before leaving, downs Mickie with a big clothesline. Alicia comes in and stomps on Mickie and gets a pin for 1. Hairmare by Alicia. NICE Northern Lights suplex by Alicia, but Mickie rolls through. She looks for her DDT, but Alicia dumps Mickie in the corner. Mickie fights Fox off and comes off the top with a Thesz Press for a three count.
ALICIA FOX IS ELIMINATED
Michelle mauls Mickie as Fox leaves. She hits a leg drop for a 2 count. Mickie looks to tag, but Michelle gets a chinlock on. My left wrist is locking up. FROM TYPING. Melina gets the crowd into it to rally Mickie, and Mickie gets out the hold, but is downed by Michelle. Uppercut by McCool. However, Mickie manages to reverse a whip and slam Michelle down to create seperation. Mickie is first to rise, but is far from Melina, which allows Michelle to cut her off and then kncok Melina off the apron. However, Mickie kicks McCool off and finally tags in Melina. Melina comes in strong, hitting a spear. Melina hit a tilt a whirl kick before dropping Michelle into the ropes. Pair of knees to the back and a slam down scores 2. Michelle goes goes a boot. Melina matrixes out, but Michelle catches her. Belly to Belly by Michelle scores a 2 count. Michelle goes for the Faith Breaker, but Melina counters with the Code Red for three!
SURVIVORS: MICKIE JAMES & MELINA
TLC PPV commerical. Literally full of Table, Ladder and Chair shots. Pure violence. Me likey. They say Todd Grisham has caught up with Batista, before shwoing us how Batista destoryed Rey Rey earlier. We send it to that interview. We see Batista is dressed and ready to leave. Todd gets cut off by Dave. Dave asks Todd if Rey was embarrassed tonight. Girsdham didn't know, but Batista said he was embarrassed for Rey.
John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a "A Champion vs. A Tag Team? Hang on a minute!" match for the WWE Heavyweight Title
We kick off with the DX music, and indeed, HHH & HBK come out together. In a way that's a little less homosexual as it scans. HHH tosses out some glowsticks, and for once, they come right back. No promo here, but they do their pyro thing. Cena is out next and he has yet ANOTHER new shirt and colour scheme. Blue & Orange this time. that's make Glasgow Rangers (and thusly I believe our own Jamie Kennedy) fans happy. Good thing I went for DX sweatbands this time (including one for the neck like HBK has had) and not Cena again, because they'd be out of date now. Main event Introductions for this one again, as we see some early adopters of the new Cena merch. Suffice to say, DX are beloved, Cena gets his usual mix.
Cena starts himself in the corner as the bell rings, and he expects a 2 on 1. However, OUT OF NOWHERE HBK HITS SWEET CHIN MUSIC ON HH!!!! Cena is COMPLETELY aghast! However, HHH is sent out by it, leaving us with Michaels & Cena. Michaels takes control, and hits a Thesz Press. HBK takes Cena into the corner for some chopping action. Striker notes HBK's history at Survivor Series, but neglects Montreal, leaving Cole to clean up there. Cena hits the Fisherman's Suplex, but HBK comes back with another chop int he corner. Cena reversed a whip and then whipped HBK hard onto the top of the corner, hitting a couple of punts to the chest. He grabbed HBK looking to finish, but HBK countered the Attitude Adjustment with a DDT for a 2 count. HBK chop blocks each of the legs. He locked in a Figure Four on Cena in the middle of the ring. Cena tried to turn it over and did do at the second time of asking.
Both men back up and they have a chop/punch fest. Cena wins and hits the shoulderblock, but a second is avoided and Cena crashes outside the ring. Shawn pescadoes out onto Cena. He then clears the announce desk as Coel notes this HBK is like the one of old. However, Cena picks HBK up for the Attitude Adjustment. HHH breaks that up, but HHH then gives Shawn Michaels a spinebuster through the announce desk!
Hunter chooses to go after Cena as we replay DX's impact moves on each other. We come back as HHH rolls Cena in the ring. HHH hits Cena with a spinebuster, but only gets a deuce. Hard whip into the corner by Helmsley. HHH slows things down and waits for Cena to get back up before whipping him across into the opposite corner hard again for a 2 count. Neckbreaker by HHH scores another 2 count. We cut back to HBK who hasn't moved while Matt Striker HIDES BEHIND HIS CHAIR. HHH telegrpahs a backdrop and looks for the Pedigree, but Cena counters with a slingshot into the corner. HHH explodes with a clothesline though as Cena gets back up. That scored another 2 count. HHH & Cena have a slugfest. Cena is whipped off the ropes, but he hits the shoudlerblocks and then the ProtoBomb. Cena calls for and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. He waits for HHH, but as he looks to finish, HBK cuts Cena off and sends him into the ringpost in the corner. DX have a staredown. HHH shoves HBK, but Cena charges only to get tossed out. HHH scores with the high knee. He then hits the facebuster. However, Shawn hit the flying clothesline. HHH gets up first, but HBK kips up. However, he runs into the AA spinebuster. HHH looks to finish, but HBK counters with a backdrop. Michaels headed up top but was so wearied, he almost slipped off. and certainyl took long enough for Cena to crotch him. Cena went up in another corner, but missed the leg drop. HBK got back up and hit the flying elbow to Cena. HHH tossed Shawn out, but he turned into the STF! However, while fighting the hold, HBK came back in and locked Cena in a Crossface! However, he fought and Cena was able to lift Michaels on his back. HBK elbowed out the Atttitude Adjustment though. However, Cena caught Michaels in the STF! HBK fought for the ropes, and eventually made them after teasing tapping.
As both men get to their feet, HBK hits Sweet Chin Music. HHH came in and got superkicked too ONTO Cena. HBK fell out the ring and the ref counted HHH's inadvertent pin on Cena but it only scored two!!! If the ref had seen it earlier, it'd have been three. As everyone in the arena expressed their opinion on Cena, Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on HHH! However, Cena collapsed down. HBK stirred on the outside and he crawled back into the ring. The race to pin HHH was on as they both crawled towards Hunter. They both laid an arm on HHH and the ref counted, but HHH kicked out at 2 to avoid a sticky situation. HBK pawed for Cenaand they pulled each other up. The Superkick was blocked. HBK went for a piledriver on HHH, but HHH countered with a backdrop onto Cena's shoulders. HHH cut that off looking for the Pedigree, btu HBK superkicked HHH again. However, Cena hit the Attidue Adjustment on HBK ONTO Hunter. Cena then pinned HHH for the three count.
WINNER & STILL CHAMPION: JOHN CENA
Wow. Great match and AWESOME last period.
After Cena celebrates, he heads for the soldiers at ringside and signs one of his new shirts for them. We then hit replays of DX's implosion for the evening (you never know, it might be it entirely), with some of the wacky spots, including the brilliantly done, yet intricate, finish.
