WWE United States Championship Match

Kofi Kingston (Champion) v.s. Dolph Ziggler (with Vickie Guerrero)

The ring ropes were decked out in red, white and blue for the presidential theme. Dolph debuted some new attire with the word "Perfection" on the backside. The announcers put over the fact that both men are future full time main eventers. Good back and forth match like these two always have against each other. The finish saw both men miss their finishers and Vickie raked the eyes of Kingston which allowed Ziggler to lock on the Sleeper Hold. The referee stopped the match once he saw that Kofi was unconscious giving Ziggler the win and title.

Winner and NEW United States Champion: Dolph Ziggler

R-Truth arrived backstage and was still carrying the WWE Championship that he took with him after RAW this past Monday night. He ran into Eve Torres and the two had words. Truth basically told her that she didn't know him and she needed to mind her own business.

Next we saw the Miz get interviewed. He said that he was tired of hearing that the only reason he won and retained the WWE title is because of Alex Riley. Tonight he was going to prove that he was nothing compared to him.

-

The Miz v.s. Alex Riley

Miz was wearing his special PPV only leather jacket and was also carrying the metal briefcase with him as well for some reason. The crowd gave A-Ry a nice pop which is always nice. Miz took the fight to Riley in the beginning of the match and seemed to be trying to prove that the teacher is indeed better than the student. The announcers kept insisting that Riley stays down since the Miz was putting the boots to him for much of the fight. Miz continued to stalk Alex but made a mistake and Riley gained control for a brief moment until Michael Cole stood up from the table. Riley tossed Cole on the ground and then turned his attention back to the Miz. A-Ry followed up with his momentum by ducking a briefcase shot that Miz went for and hitting a jumping DDT pinning the Miz clean in the process.

Winner: Alex Riley

-

Backstage we saw a stupid segment where a President Obama look-a-like arrived and was greeted by WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter. Vickie Guerrero approached and attempted to sing a "Happy Father's Day" song to him in a flirtatious way until the fake Obama's security team dragged her away screaming.

-

Albeto Del Rio v.s. The Big Show

There was no Ricardo the ring announcer tonight due to selling the assualt Big Show performed on his this past Monday night on RAW. Big Show didn't do his entrance but instead decided to attack Del Rio from behind on the ramp during ADR's own entrance. Mark Henry showed up and began beating down the Big Show for what he did to him on Friday Night Smackdown. Henry hit the World's Strongest Slam on Show thru the announcer's table to make a statement. All of this happened before the match officially started. The referee decided it was time to begin the bout so he started to count the Big Show out. At the last minute the giant made it in the ring and Del Rio pounced on his injured leg. After a couple of minutes the referee decided that Show couldn't compete so he stopped the match and awarded it to ADR.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

-

Backstage R-Truth spoke to some random guy who pointed out that the name plate on the WWE title said John Cena and not him. Truth bullied him for his words and stated that tonight he will officially win the belt.

-

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Wade Barrett (Champion) v.s. Ezekiel Jackson

Instead of an entrance we had Barrett walk his way out to the ring from backstage while talking crap about the country and the crowd. He got some cheap heat before he began trashing his opponent. He finished by telling everyone that he knew exactly how to defeat Jackson and we would all be surprised at the result when the match was over. The match was pretty even with both men getting a chance to shine. A weak "USA" chant broke out for some reason even though neither Barrett or Jackson are American. A short, but sweet, "We Want Ryder" chant broke out as well. Barrett hit the Wasteland but Zeke kicked out at 2. Jackson eventually made a comeback and did 5 bodyslams in a row before locking on the Touture Rack for the submission win.

Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Ezekiel Jackson

-

Backstage we saw Santino try to teach the fake Obama the Cobra but as it appeared he was about to strike the security team stepped in and took him down as the wannabe President ran away. Another lame segment.

Next we saw CM Punk chat with Josh Matthews about how Rey Mysterio was fake because he hides under a mask. Punk said that he was the only guy in the WWE that tells people the truth. Tonight after he beats Rey he promised to do the most honest thing the WWE Universe has ever seen.

-

Rey Mysterio v.s. CM Punk

Punk came out for this match alone. No Mason Ryan and no Nexus. This was a very pro-Punk crowd according to the chants. This was hailed as a wrestling clinic by the announcers but I just saw it as another decent match between two talented guys. Mysterio hit a unique 619 that drove Punk to the outside of the ring and nearly won with a roll up. Punk recovered and hit a roundhouse kick followed by the Go To Sleep after one last exchange to pick up the clean win.

Winner: CM Punk

-

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match

Randy Orton (Champion) v.s. Christian

Orton passed his tests yesterday so he is medically cleared to compete in this match following a concussion. I really hate the lame and goofy smiling gimmick he now has when walking to the ring. The whole story of this match was the injured head angle with Orton. Christain hit a massive spear and only got a two and half count. Seconds later Orton nailed an RKO out of nowhere and picked up the win... again...  Good match, anticlimatic ending in my opinion. After the match Christian tried to convince the referee that his foot was under the bottom rope during the pin. Orton nailed Christian in the head with the title belt to get his revenge. Hopefully Christian can win next month at Money in the Bank and cash in on Orton to win the belt back. He deserves to hold on to it for at least a couple of months.

Winner and STILL WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton

-

The Bella Twins came out with Keith Stone from the Keystone Light beer commercials for no apparent reason.

-

Jack Swagger v.s. Evan Bourne

This was billed as a special attraction match. These two have faced off dozens of times on RAW over the years and it was nothing special then so why is it now? This is obviously PPV filler and the crowd knew it. Booker T dropped a Hugh Morris reference during the match. How cute. The crowd was dead for this match probably because they've seen it so many times before. This bout went on for way too long and finally ended with Bourne rolling up Swagger when he went for the Ankle Lock submission. The announcers acted surprised that Bourne pulled this win off even though he's done it three times this month. Decent match but a waste of time really.

Winner: Evan Bourne

-

The fake Obama came out to literally no reaction at all. To his credit he really does look just like the real guy. He did a speech in which the crowd shit all over. This was some really lame and weak material. It's segments like these that make me wonder why I still watch this shit. No point at all to this. Booker T stopped him before he could leave and asked him to please join him in the ring. Booker asked him if he could do the Spinaroonie. Booker demonstrated and then the fake Obama did a "Barackaroonie". This was FRIGGING AWFUL!

-

WWE Championship Match

John Cena (Champion) v.s. R-Truth

Truth came out with the WWE title on his shoulder. The crowd exploded for Cena as you would expect. The crowd did the normal dueling "Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks" chant. Truth did some showboating with a dancing leg drop. At the midway point I can safely say this has not been an exciting match at all. Cena started to do his normal boring offense and almost hit an Attitude Adjustment but R-Truth reversed and hit a neckbreaker to keep the fight going. Cena caught Truth in the STFU but R made it to the ropes. Killings rebounded and hit the scissors kick for a two count. Cena went for another A.A. but Truth slipped out and hit his finisher, the jumping facebuster which caused John to fall out of the ring. Truth took a kids John Cena hat off and put it on then took his drink and sipped it. The kid grabbed the cup and splashed the drink into Truth's face. Cena threw Truth back in the ring and gave him the Attitude Adjustment to pick up the win and retain the title. He brought the kid in the ring to celebrate with him and end the show.

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: John Cena
