Hey everybody!  Aaron Wood here and the adverts before the show have just begun, so you can now keep checking back if you aren't buying the show.  I know I normally do a big wacky intro bit before the show, but to be honest, I've been helluva busy today, so I'll just point you in the direction of the Smackdown UnReal Time.  Many videos and much Canadian Bulldog baiting there!

Here we go!

A fairly typical opening video looking at various title wins over the decades and how important they are, before we start focusing on certain matches, such as the three-way and Punk/Hardy, but most people get a look-in by the end.

Pretty plain, but Roman-themed set.  Similar to the one they've used in the past for these shows.  Michael Cole opens things up, and there's a "Vintage Michael Cole" sign in the crowd.   Awesome.

Chris Jericho & Somebody Else vs. Legacy for the "Who exactly are the heels here?" match for the Unified Tag Titles
Well, starting off with this match just about rules out EVERYONE already set to wrestle, I think...

Legacy are out first.  Jericho is next, obviously, with one half of the tag title belts.  Lillian goes to introduce the new partner, but Jericho took the mic and introduced a video on Edge's surgery to remind us what had happened, along with Edge's promise to come back and kick Jericho's ass.  Jericho said what was wrong was for him to choose Edge as his partner and now he found out he'd frail.  And he's selfish to get injured!  What about Jericho?!?!  Left him high and dry without a partner, but his partner is worthy of being a champion.  A man worthy of holding the titles and of standing next to Jericho...

And Jericho's partner is...

***drum roll please...***

THE BIG SHOW!  Got that one wrong then...

Big Show made his way out with the other tag belts and with a brand new singlet on, with a double strap and 2 shades of blue.  Interesting that the tag champs, right now, are made of a RAW and Smackdown guy. And I think we can call Legacy the babyfaces...

Show & Cody Rhodes start the match off, and it goes about as well for Cody as you'd expect.  Big chop in the corner followed by a biel.  Show lifts Cody back to the apron, but Cody hot-shots him and manages to tag in Ted Dibiase.  Big Show re-takes control though and take him into his corner before tagging in Jericho.  Jericho with a running back elbow.  Big Show back in, with a shot to Ted's ribs.  Headbutt sees Jericho come back in, and Show pressed Jericho onto DiBiase for a 2 count.  Ted gets a shot in and tags in Cody.  Big Show elbows Rhodes in the back and Jericho rolled him up for 2.  However, while Big Show distracted the ref, DiBiase low bridged jericho out and Legacy took control.  Crowd is quiet, and I'm not surprised.  We have no babyfaces.  Legacy begin to make tags and hit the high/low on Jericho for 2 count.  Cody back in, and the crowd begin to get behind Jericho, as they recognise the heelish tactics of Legacy.  European headlock by Rhodes on Jericho.  Jericho elbows out of it, and looks for a sunset flip, btu Cody avoids it, amnages to get jericho to the apron and elbow him in the chest.  Jericho tries to come back, biut Cody tags in Ted.  Ref had to pull Dibiase out the corner and Rhodes choked Jericho.  Y2J tried to tag Big Show, but couldn't reach, and Dibiase tagged in Cody again, but he missed a corner charge.  Cody blocked a corner charge and he hit a lovely moonsault for a 2 count!  Jericho hits an enziguri and both men are down!

Dibiase tagged in and he just cut off Jericho from tagging in Show.  Jericho hit Dibiase, but Ted then hit a powerslam for 2.  Dibiase took jericho over and hit a kick to Jericho's face for 2.  Jericho looked for the Walls, but TD2 reversed it.  Ted looked for Dreamstreet but Jericho blocked and locked in the Walls for a second time.  Cody got Big Show to distract the ref and DDT'ed Jericho for a TD2 deuce!

Big Show blind-tagged in when Jericho was whipped and he looked to chokeslam Legacy.  They blocked, btu the High/Low was blocked and DiBiase was speared for 2.  Rhodes was thrown over, but skinned the cat and they hit a version of the High/low.  However, Jericho saved hitting the Codereaker on Dibiase and SHow locked him in the Colossal Clutch for the tap out!

WINNERS & STILL CHAMPIONS - CHRIS JERICHO & BIG SHOW

We cut backstage to Josh Matthews, who introduced CM Punk.  He asked abotu the match later nothign Jeff said Punk forgot what it was like to be human.  Punk said he wanted to ask a question of his own, to the audience.  After telling them the truth, they're still behind Jeff Hardy?    He heard the cheers and took Josh's mic to head into the crowd!  He climbed up on a flight case and confronted them.  Could the crowd support a man who couldn't support himself?  Hey, all you Jeff Hardy fans with his terrible merchendise, please stand up.  You, on camera.  Get some good shots of these people.  But hey, Punk didn't blame people for supporting Jeff Hardy.  The people Punk was blaming were the parents.  Well, in most case, more like PARENT.  It's obviously a single parent situation like how Hardy grew up.  You're so scared of you relationship with your kid failing, like the marriage did, it's making you an enabler...  The fact they're letting their kids look up to a guy like Jeff shows they don't care.  If you're under 17, they're young and impressionable, so Punk isn't blaming you.  He's blaming the parents.  Starts with the t-shirt.  Then it's the fags and booze.  Shots of Jack D, which gateways into weed, and you people are cheering it!  Show you Punk's telling the truth.  And soon enough, your kids will be addicted to pills and stuff.  All of this can be stopped!  All you have to is talk to your kids!  Save their lives.  It's what you don't do that makes you who you are.  Punk said he's been saying "Just say no".  But let's say yes!  Yes to a Straight Edge America, Yes to the winner of the title match and your World Champion!  HELL OF A PROMO!

Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian in a "Tommy comes home.  ECW...not so much..." match for the ECW Title

Tommy comes out first to a homecoming...well...kinda pop.  I heard a few boos in there, but it was mainly cheers, and there's some ECW shirts and signs in the crowd.  Christian gets a louder pop though.  The pair lock up, but it ends up in the corner.  They exchange slaps before locking up again and they exchange arm wringers over.  Christian got a quick cover, but not real count.  Christian avoided a corner charge, but Dreamer hit a neckbreaker while Christian was in the ropes for a qucik1 count.  EC-Dub chant.  Christian kncoks Dreamer down, and to the apron, but TOmmy blocked Christian's charge and teased a suplex out the ring.  However, Christian blocked and pulled Dreamer off before jumping back in and hitting a baseball slide.  Christian tried a double jump out onto Dreamer, but tommy moved.  Tommy then hit the apron and hit Christian with the running cannonball splash.  Running powerslam for a 2 count to Dreamer.  Tommy went up, but was cut off and swept out the corner.  Christian took Dreamer over and kicked him in the back.  Christian looked to finish, but Dreamer blocked it.  However, Christian locked in a sleeper, although Dreamer fell back in it, slamming Christian down.  Both men were down, but when they got up, Christian went back to the sleeper, this time sending them both out the ring.

NOTE:  CHRISTIAN ENDED UP WINNING WITH THE KILLSWITCH

We hung around for a bit as Tommy recovered.  The two men stared and then exchanged a hug, before Dreamer raised Christian's arm.

Summerslam advert.

Todd is backstage with Jericho & Big Show.  Show said they weren't friends.  It was about business.  And Jericho said the best business decision was choosing Big Show, and they'd be the most dominant tag team in WWE ever.  Show mentioned all the ways they rocked, before Jericho thanked Edge for making it all possible.

The Liberty Bell is shown.  You do know there's a big crack in it.  That has to affect the sound...

Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. MVP vs. Carlito vs. Big Show vs. The Miz in a "No Evan Bourne and No Primo makes Aaron a less excited boy..." Six-Pack Challenge for the US Title

The guys come out.  WHAT'S PRIMO DOING HERE???  Oh, he's replacing Big Show!  Makes sense actually.  Primo dove for Carlito but Miz rolled him up for 1 before kofi broke it up.  People are making pins, but Kofi keeps breakign them up.  Primo & Miz work each other while Kofi takes on Carlito.  Swagger in to help Miz.  Not that he needs it.  Primo however manages to deal with the pair of them, he crossbodied Miz, aiming for Swagger, for a 2 count.  Primo ran into the Gutwrench bomb by Swagger, but Carlito broke up the pin!  Carlito was dumped out, but MVP skinned the cat and threw Swagger out.  MVP dived over onto SWAGGAH~!  However, Jack reversed a whip into the guard-rail.  As Swagger talks smack, Carlito dived down, but Swagger moved and he hit MVP.  Back in the ring, Kofi at Swagger before hitting a missile dropkick.  Boom Boom double leg drop drew a 2 count when Miz broke it up.  Miz hit a clothesline to Kofi before hitting the corner clothesline on Swagger in the corner.  Miz went up but Primo cut him off.  Kofi joined them on the second rope, and swagger pulled them all off in a nice spot.  Carlito hit Swagger with a low dropkick before pinning Kofi & Miz for 2 counts.  MVP, on the outside, hotshot Carlito, but Miz got involved and pulled MVP into the corner.  The Colons got together.  Literally.  They went for crossbodies.  Swagger missed a corner charge on Kofi, but Swagger picked him out of the air on another dive and slammed him down.  Every one took each other out, leaving Carlito and Kofi.  Primo, Carlito and Kofi had a GREAT pinning sequence that I can't describe.  Carlito offered to work with his brother, but Swagger tripped Primo.  However, they tried to doubel team Swagger, but Swagger avoided it and clotheslined everyone in sight.  Except for MVP, who came form behind and hit a facebuster off the knee.  BALLIN'!  MVP looked to finish, but Miz jumped in and hit the Stroke ad MVP hit the playmmaker.  That pin was broken up, and we were left with the Colons standing.  However, Carlito sucked Primo in and have him the Backcracker.  However, Kofi came in and hit Trouble In Paradise for the three count on Carlito!

WINNER & STILL CHAMPION - KOFI KINGSTON

Backstage again with Josh, and he has the other main champion with him, Randy Orton.  Legacy failed earlier, what's Randy gonna do?  Randy said that what happened to them was unfair.  But this you can predict.  He could lose his title tonight without being pinned, but the egos of the other two could cancel the other out.  Maybe one day the people would stop disrespecting him and give him a standing ovation or the cheers, but until then, he'd remain champion...

Michelle McCool vs. Melina in a "Get used to this one..." match for the Womens Title

As Michelle came out, we went back to last month and Michelle's title win, and then last Friday when Melina noted she had invoked her rematch clause, before tossing makeup into McCool's face.  As Melina went for her entrance, Michelle baseball slid Melina where it hurt, but once the bell rang, Melina took michelle down before matrixing out of a clothesline.  Michelle kept trying to get away, but Melina stayed on top of her.  Michelle begged off, but Melina dropkicked her before hitting a tilt-a-whirl mule kick.  She missed a splash in the middle of the ropes though, with Melina crashing to the outside.  Michelle hit a running knee into the guardrail.    Back in the ring, Michelle went for a bendy single leg crab, with her knee in Melina's back, pinning her down more.  Melina managed to escape, but Michelle stayed on top.  back outside, Michelle went for a boot, but Melina moved and crotched herself.  They ended up on top of the guardrail, but Michelle reeled off a nice looking DDT on top of the guardrail!  Hit it perfectly.  Melina got back in the ring, and indeed managed to avoid a baseball slide.  Melina used a headscissors to ram Mcihelle's head into the apron before she hit a facebuster onto the mats.  Back in the ring, Melina took Michelle down into the ropes, and hit time hit a double knee to Michelle's back.  In the corner, Melina put some shoulders in.  She set Michelle up and hit a double knee drop to the stomach while McCool was set on the second rope.  Michelle reeled off a nice belly-to-belly suplex for a 2 count.  Michelle took Melina into the corner, but Melina kicked Michelle away.  Melina looked to pin, but Michelle reversed it and folded Melina up good and proper for the three count.

We cut backstage to see John Cena get ready for his match.  It's next apparently!  Punk & Hardy to close!

Randy Orton vs. HHH vs. John Cena in a "Is it really a bad thing to have a Wrestlemania match two years removed?" match for the WWE Title

Sorry for the late updates folks, my computer is being tempramental...

After Cena & HHH come out, Orton makes them wait a little before, allowing them to exchange words, before making his bow.  The usual main event inroductions.  Thankfully, Lillian doesn't screw this one up.  The bell rings and we have a Mexican standoff.  Orton slithers out of the ring to leave HHH & Cena to get to it.  However, they call him out and corner the champion.  Orton rolled back in, but again, HHH & Cena had him cornered.  We start with HHH getting in the first shots.  Orton tried to bail, but Cena was there to cover that exit with a clothesline, before feeding him back to HHH.  HHH blocked a corner charge and Cena hit Orton with the bulldog.  they teed off on Orton, sending Orton out again.  Cena & hunter gave chase to take turns on him in the aisle.  however, back at ringside, Orton managed to knock Cena into HHH.  Orton brought Cena back in the ring to work him over.  He laid in a bunch of shots before knocking HHH from the ring.  Cena came back with shoulder blocks and the ProtoBomb.  Cena took in some boos and looked for, and hit, the Five Knuckle Shuffle.  Cena looked to finish, but HHH kicked Cena in the gut and sent him into the corner and Cena dropped outside.  However, Orton attacked Hunter from behind and began to play with The Game.  A dropkick on HHH scored 2 for Orton.  Chinlock time.  HHH got back up to his knees, and finally his feet.  Slugfest, draws a Yay!/Boo! chant, but Orotn whips HHH off the ropes and hits a powerslam.  Orton got the tasty look in his eyes and slipped back and called for the RKO.  Hunter blocked, but the charge was blocked.  However Randy ran into a DDT, leaving both men down for a few moments.  Cena appeared up top and he caught both of them with the leg drop to the back of the head.  Cena laid in shots to both of them.  Orton reversed a whip into his neck and back breaker, sending Cena out to the mat again.  HHH looked to finish, but Orton reversed into a backdrop, sending HHH over the top rope and out.  Cena recovered first and pulled himself back in.  HHH got up quick, and Orton looked to DDT them both back in the ring.  However, they both climbed back in and dropped Orton over the top to the floor.

It was now time for HHH & Cena to get it on.  Not like that you freak.  They had to pound each other.  OK...I meant that one...  It was a slugfest though, with another Yay!/Boo! chant.  HHH won it, but Cena ducked a clothesline and hit another pair of shoulder blocks, but he ran into the high knee.  HHH then hit the facebuster.  However, Cena hit the Throwback.  Cena looked to Finish, but HHH reversed.  Cena reversed into the STF, but HHH kicked him off.  Attitude adjustment was again reversed, this time hitting the spinebuster.  HHH looked for the Pedigree and he hit it.  However, Orton pulled HHH off of the cover to the floor, before sending HHH into the steel steps.  Orton set up the announce table for usage.  Orton rammed HHH off the desks before setting HHH up for the RKO.  However, HHH hit a nut shot, but Cena made the save there.  He tossed Orton into the front row  HHH Looked to hit the Pedigree on the table, but Cena reversed into the STF on the table. Orton broke up that hold up, and rolled Cena back in the ring.  Another Yay/Boo slugfest, which Orotn wins in both cheers and hits.  Orton then telegraphed a backdrop with a kick to the chest.  The RKO was blocked from way up high though.  Cena set Orotn up on the top rope before joining him.  He looked for a superplex, but HHH joined them, and Orton blocked.  They traded blocked moves before Cena slingshotted HHH into Orotn, crothcing him.  Cena locked in the STF with Orton strung up on the top rope.  HHH had nowhere to go, but Orton was helpless.  However, HHH managed to power his way up, although he collapsed back down.  Cena let go to pull HHH back, but Orton had freed himself.  He went for a punt but both HHH & Cena moved.  Orton was rolled up by Cena for 2, but Randy came back with a clothesline.  Orton was the last man standing, with Cena & Hunter down.  He stomped around both guys, before hitting a bunch of knee drops onto Cena.  He went for the same thing on HHH, but he moved on the final leg drop and the babyfaces went to work on Orton's knee.  Orton was hit with the ProtoBomb.  Cena went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Orotn, but HHH low bridged him out.  HHH locked Orton in a SHARPSHOOTER!

Orton didn't have anywhere to go either, as he tried to get to the bottom rope, but HHH pulled him back in.  Cena reappeared and locked Orton in a crossface and ORTON TAPS OUT!  BUT TO WHOM???  As the ref sturggled to make a call, Legacy ran in and beat on HHH and Cena, but since triple Threats are No DQ matches, there was no end to the match there.  Cena recovered to look to hit the Attitude Adjusstment on Rhodes, but Orton got up and hit Cena with the RKO to get the three count!!!

WINNER & STILL CHAMPION - RANDY ORTON


We saw a replay of the false finish as Orton tapped to both men before Legacy ran in, with Cena shouting "He tapped ref!", before we saw Orotn hit the RKO.  Coel noted that history repeated itself, with Cena being pinned.

We cut to see Maryse stretching when Miz approached.  She cock-teased him, before noting he didn't win earlier and she doesn't date losers.  Miz took noted exception to this, noting he helped her out last week.  Miz said one day she'd lose that title and she'd beg to be with him.  But she butchered her chance with him, like she butchers the English language.  Maryse looked a bit sad.

SHAQ ON RAW TOMORROW EVERYONE!

We saw one of those former TLC members.  Not the crazy one though.

Maryse vs. Mickie James in a "Can Maryse do "The Beautiful People" better than The Beautiful People?" match for the Divas Title

As Mickie came out, we cut back to RAW on Monday as Maryse sprayed Mickie in the eyes with hairspray in Mickie's face.  Mickie here though, was showing no real sign of injury because of that.  Maryse avoided Mickie to start while preening and posing.  The pair locked up, and Mickie grabbed a waistlock.  Mickie took a slap, but Maryse tied herself up in the ropes to force a break.  Mickie got a roll up with a bridge for a 2 count.  Snapmare by Mickie and hit a low dropkick, but Maryse wouldn't keep her shoulders down.  Mickie was sent into the corner, but she blocked Maryse.  She was dumped to the apron and Maryse then kicked Mickie off the apron to the floor.  Mickie got back in at 8.  Maryse hit a knee to the face, but it only scored a 1 count.  Maryse locked in her legs akimbo camel clutch, while facewashing Mickie on the mat.  Maryse dumped Mickie to the outside, before rolling her back in.  Maryse went under the ring and grabbed more hairspray, but Maryse was caught with a kick.  On the outside, Mickie looked to spray, but the ref took it away.  Maryse tried to get the jump on her, but Mickie stayed in control, hitting a Thesz Press and then a ram into the side of the ring.  Back in, Mickie went up, but Maryse avoided her splash to pick up a 2 count.  Back to the camel clutch.  Mickie powered up and out on a falling splash.  Mickie & Maryse exchanged head rams.  Mickie began to run a head of steam, hitting a neckbreaker for another 2 count.  Mickie blocked a corner charge and hit the headscissors, but Maryse caught Mickie in a schoolgirl for a 1 count.  Mickie kicked Maryse in the corner, but was tossed off the top.  Maryse's DDT was blocked, and Mickie hit hers!  THREE COUNT!  New champion!

WINNER & NEW CHAMPION - MICKIE JAMES

So, Miz's prediction came true.  Should be interesting to see what happens there.

We're backstage with Rhodes & DiBiase, who were with Josh.  Josh said they failed, but TD2 took exception, noting that Orton was still WWE champion.  Cody said that Orton won, and HHH & Cena lost, so they had a great sense of accomplishment.  They were cementing their legacy.

We cut to JR & Todd, who talked about out next match, sending it to a package on Rey that morphed into the feud with Ziggler.

Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler in a "Hello, IC Title, my name is???" match for the Intercontinental Title

Ziggler made his way out first with Maria, with them doing the same deal as Friday, with Maria sitting sweetly at ringside.  Rey, as it goes, harked back to what I sw earlier today on Vintage Collection, and his match at Halloween Havoc with Eddie Guerrero, in so far as he was wearing the block and purple colours of the Phamtom, or whatever comic book character that is.  We start with an aggressive lock up that heads right to the corner, as JR put over Dolph's amateur background.  A dropkick scored a quick 1 count on Rey off a dropkick.  Rey schoolboyed Ziggler for a 1 count.Ziggler gets a couple of agressive shoulder blocks for quick pins before he locked in a chinlock, getting good leverage, as we saw Maria cheer her man on from ringisde.  There seems to be a dueling chant for both men going on.  Rey looked for a hurricanrana, but Ziggler powerbombed Rey into the corner.  That picked up a deuce.  Ziggler whipped Rey hard into the corner for another 2 count.  Back to a chinlock, getting in a headstand for leverage.  Mysterio managed to get back to his feet and out of the hold, before hitting a headscissors sending Ziggler through the corner into the post.  Rey dropped the dime and then hit the apringboard crossbody for 2.  Rey telegraphed a backdrop but ran into a powerslam for a 2 count.  Rey wheeled out of a suplex and sent Ziggler through the ropes to the floor.  Mysterio the dropped the dime off the apron to Dolph on the floor.  Back in, Rey looked to fly, but Ziggler cut him off.  Electric Chair was block, but Ziggler caught Rey again and looked for a Tiger Bomb, but Rey headscissored Dolph into 619 position.  Ziggler avoided it and sent Rey out to the floor and into the RAW table.

Back in the ring, Ziggler scored another near fall.  He hit a couple of shoulders to the side of Rey's neck before putting on another chinlock, which changed into a Full Nelson.  Chris Masters will be pissed...  Rey kicked at Ziggler's knee and hit a couple of elbows to break free, but again ran into a slam for a 2 count.  Ziggler scored 2 with the leaping elbow drop.  Rey threw a few shots, but Dolph ducked one and locked in the Full Nelson again.  Again, Rey kickedd at the knee to kick out.  Rey tried to roll Ziggler over on another attempt, but Ziggler countered with his own pin for 2.  A kick to the face of Ziggler scored 2 for Rey.  Ziggler avoided the wheelbarrow bulldog and hit a jawbreak for yet another 2 count.  The ref had to pull Ziggler off Rey in the corner, but after a whip acorss, Mysterio hit a drop toe hold into the corner.  Rey charged and was sent to the apron, but a ram into the ringpost was blocked.  Ziggler was knocked back, but as Rey came off the top, Ziggler hit a perfect dropkick for a pair of very close 2 counts.  Ziggler charged at Rey, but Mysterio kicked out Dolph's legs, sending him crashing into the corner.  Dolph was put up top, but Rey was caught and Ziggler hit a gutbuster off his knee from the top rope!

Dolph stalked Mysteiro before picking him up.  Rey slipped out though, but kicked Ziggler into position for the 619.  He hit that and a big splahs for the quick three count!

WINNER & STILL CHAMPION - REY MYSTERIO

He may have lost but Ziggler did exactly what he needed to do here.  A great job.

The Tag Team DVD is plugged.  Gonna have to add that one to the list...

We saw a cityscape of Philly as JR mourned the lack of getting his hands on a cheesesteak.

They moved onto talking about the main event, sending it to a video from the Bash onwards.

CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy in a "Will this effectively be Loser Leaves Town?" match for the World Heavyweight Title

JR was surprised to see Punk come out first, and being honest, he thought Punk made a lot of sense earlier.  He did his wrist thing, before encouraging Philly's chants towards him.  Taking lessons from Lesnar, I see.  Damn MMA influence creeping into the sport.  JR said that apparently, there's a message in each of Jeff's painted faces.  I think I know what it is, but I can't reprint it here for reasons of taste and decency.  We got the main event introductions here too.  Your referee...one of JG's 3:10 audio under-rated WCW workers in Scott Armstrong.  He of course, was the ref that Punk kicked last month.

Punk kicked at Hardy's leg, reeling him, before trash talking Hardy.  Punk's faces as the crowd chant for Jeff are near maniacal.  He locked in another sideheadlock, laughing as he did so to mock Jeff.  Shoulder block by Punk was followed by a duck under into GTS position.  Hardy slipped out and looked for the Twist of Fate, but Punk blocked that.  In the corner, Hardy whipped Punk across hard, but Hardy was hit with a sunset flip for 2 before Punk put on a chinlock.  Hardy got up and punched his way out of it, but he dropped down as Jeff dived, with Hardy crashing to the outside.  He waited for Jeff to get up and went for a suicide dive, but Hardy moved out of the way, Punk crashing into the guard rail.  Back in the ring, Jeff got a 2 count.  Hardy hit a reverse neckbreaker before heading up top.  However, Punk rolled out the ring.  Hardy went for a dive down to the floor, but Punk moved and Jeff crashed into the guard rail himself.  Punk encouraged the count out, but felt the ref went too slowly.  Still though, Hardy got back in at 9 and a half.  Punk thought he had won, but ended up covering Jeff for 2.  STIFF looking kicks to Hardy's back scored another near fall.  Hard whip into the corner as Punk took aim at Hardy's back.  Knee drop scored Punk another 2 count.  Punk locked Jeff in a bow and arrow, making sure to keep his shoulders off the mat.  Hardy managed to escape and flop into a cover for a 1 count.  However, Punk came back with a kick to the ribs.  More shots to Hardy's back.  Hardy was put up top, with Punk looking at a superplex, but Jeff coutnered with the sitout Gordbuster from the middle rope.

Standing 10 count saw both men.  A slapfest turned intoa slugfest.  Hardy seemed to win as he built momentum with his usual moves, such as the double leg drop for a 2 count.  Hardy looked to the Whisper In The Wind, but Punk cut him off, with Hardy landing on his back.  Punk waited for Jeff to get up, so he could hit the high knee, but the bulldog was countered and Jeff hit the Whisper In The Wind for a 2 count.  Punk's faces here are great.    Hardy hit another Gordbuster before heading up for the Swanton.  However, Punk sat up at the last minute!  Punk hit the double-underhook breackbreaker and then he locked Hardy in a nice dragon sleeper, while trapping the arm.  Hardy managed to make the ropes though.  HHH with a sharpshooter.  Punk with a Dragon sleeper.  You'd think there was a Submission PPV coming...  The Muay Tahi strikes were coutnered with a Twist Of Fate.  Hardy went up, but Punk got his knees up on the Swanton Bomb, with Punk scoring a 2 count on the pin.  Punk bailed to the apron, but his clothesline was blocked.  However, the Twist Of Fate was blocked into  a Go To Sleep.  Hardy kicks out at 2!  Two more pins only score 2 counts for Punk!!!

Punk's face has changed now.  He bails to the outside and grabs his title belt.  He put it over his shoulder before heading up the ramp.  However, Hardy gave cahse and brought Punk back in the ring.  He pounded at Punk before hitting the Twist Of Fate.  This time the Swanton Bomb connected and we have a new champion!!!!!!!!!!

WINNER & NEW WORLD CHAMPION - JEFF HARDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy cow!  If this guy is leaving the company, this is a helluva thank you before he does so.  He MUST be working Summerslam at the very least!

Well, with 2 new champions on 2 shows and RAW with Orotn having tapped out to both HHH & Cena, yet retaining the title, it's gonna be a helluva interesting week on TV!
