TNA Hard Justice Report: The Highpoint of Kurt Angle's Week, Foley Gets Nashed, Deaner Wins The Ladies Strap, Samoa X, and More
By Jay Winterz
The show opened with a video package of Matt Morgan challenging for the TNA Title...
Mike Tenay and Don West start talking, but you also hear the Spanish team speaking as well. I thought it was just our cable provider, but it was everywhere.
Match 1:
TNA Asylum match
The participants are Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Amazing Red, Jay Lethal, Suicide, Daniels, Consequences Creed, and D'Angelo Dinero (Elijah Burke).
West says that Dinero comes from a long line of street preachers in NY. Tenay stated that Lethal and Frankie Kazarian won the previous 2 Asylum matches.
Most of the wrestlers have gloves on , I'm guessing it's to help with their grip or because it's cold in the arena. I don't know I'm just saying.
It's a crazy spotfest all throughout this one. The crowd were into the Guns' double team moves. The crowd chant's the infamous, "This is awesome ". Most of the time I really hate this chant, but for this match i must agree with the marks, I mean fans. Sorry! At about 8 minutes in, there was a nice looking four-man tower of doom spot.
More back and forth, going on with the wrestlers. Amazing Red was great tonight, but they all were really good.
Suicide made a run for the exit ,but Dinero caught up to him and knocked him down. Dinero had a chance to climb out and win, but he dropped down to the mat instead and began limping and went over and stared at suicide. I guess there will be a story with those two.
A few moment's later, Daniels escaped through the opening at the top of the cage to win the match and he becomes the number 1 contender for X Division Title.
Jeremy Borash interviewed Daniels. He said the winner of the Homicide vs. Samoa Joe title match would lose to him next month. He then dedicated his win to A. J. Styles.
Backstage, Lauren interviewed Matt Morgan.
Now a video is shown recapping Dr. Stevie's bounty on Abyss's head... Match 2:
$50,000 Bounty Match:
Abyss vs. Jethro Holiday (w /Dr. Stevie).
Abyss had the match early on. Stevie slid a baton/nightstick looking object into the ring and Holiday used it as a weapon. The announcers said that weapons are legal. In the end, Abyss a decent looking Black hole Slam and scored the pin.
Stevie had a fit at ringside and then came inside the ring. He yelled at Holiday and poked his head with his fingers. Holiday got pissed and knocked Stevie the FU*K out. Abyss cheered at ringside... Why does he clap his hand's like Eugene???
Winner: Abyss Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviews a clean shaven and bald Kurt Angle. I guess he's getting ready for court!! Match 3:
Briefcase Shot:
Hernandez vs. Big Rob Terry
I thought this match was going to be a "Suckfest" but it wasn't. Why you might ask? Because it was a squash and ended very quick. YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Winner: Hernandez
Backstage, Lauren interviews Beer Money.
Match 4:
IWGP Tag Team Title Match:
Beer Money vs. The British Invasion
Representing World Elite, Eric Young came out wearing a suit. "I STILL HATE THIS GUY". Young said they are negotiating with a few wrestlers about joining the World Elite. The match was OK.
Near the end of the match, Young slid the belt in the ring and hocked a loogie at Storm. Magnus hit Roode low, which allowed Williams to get the pin. After the match, Roode and Storm chase the Invasion, but did not catch them. OH WELL!!
Winners: The British Invasion
Backstage, Lauren interviews ODB and Cody Deaner.
Match 5:
TNA Knockouts Title Match:
Angelina Love & Velvet Sky vs. ODB and Cody Deaner
First team out is ODB and Cody Deaner. Now the TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne.
They have a great entrance!! Just as good as Melina's split under the rope. The camera ass angle, that's gets Don West to jizz in his pants every week is great.
This match would have been an official "SUCKFEST" if not for the comedy that was in this one. Good stuff with deaner and the ladies. Including a ass slap in the corner. He slapped the booty of velvet sky 10 times. "NICE".
At the end, Rayne accidentally sprayed Sky in the eyes. Deaner rolled up Sky and smacked that ass 3 times as the referee counted the pin. West said there should be sexual assault charges filed against Deaner."FUNNY". They announce ODB the new champ, but Deaner stole the belt and said he's the champion since he got the pin fall.
Deaner left and ODB chased after him.
Love was pissed at Sky after the match, but Sky blamed Rayne. Love eventually turned to Rayne. Love and Sky both yelled at Rayne until the referee stood between them. Love leave's the ring.
Winner: ODB or DEANER not sure what they are going to do with this. Backstage TAZ tells Lauren that Samoa Joe is in the zone. And he is prepared to win the X Division Championship. TAZ did all the talking , while Joe stood like TAZ use to stand in ECW, with arms crossed and towel over his head. Match 6:
X Division Title Match:
Samoa Joe vs. Homicide
Decent match early, but then it started to suck. Joe looked tired half way through. i don't know what's going on with him, but they need to fix the problem quick. Anyway, he worked on
Homicide's shoulder with a couple of holds , but Homicide reached the ropes. They went outside the ring and it looked as if Homicide and TAZ would go at it, but nothing happened. In the end Joe caught Homicide in the Kokina Clutch and won by submission... Boring match!!
Winner and New X Division Champion: Samoa Joe
Backstage, Borash follows Angle as he enters Morgan's locker room.
A video package is shown for the Team 3D vs. Booker T and Scott Steiner match...
Match 7:
Falls Count Anywhere, NO DQ Match for the TNA Tag Titles:
Booker T & Scott Steiner vs. Team 3D
Tenay state's that there are two referees assigned to this match. Sharmell comes out with the TNA World Tag Team Champions. Team 3D comes out next.
Steiner and Brother Ray battled in one part of the building, while Booker and Devon fought in another part. The crowd was pretty into the match.
Inside the ring, Ray wanted the tables. The crowd popped again. The two teams went back and forth trying to put the other through the table. The fans wanted "tables." Booker put the Bookend on Ray right through the table.
Near the end Team 3D hit the 3D finisher on Booker. As Devon was pinning Booker, Steiner pinned ray. The two ref's counted 3 at the same time. They went to a replay. I didn't know there were replays in wrestling! Anyway Booker and Steiner win.
Winners and still champs : Booker and Steiner
Backstage, Mick Foley joked that he made extra money selling autographs because of the TNA Legend's Title at Wally's Wiener World.
A video package is shown for Foley vs. Kevin Nash...
Match 8:
TNA Legends Title Match:
Mick Foley vs. Kevin Nash
Early on they battle around ringside. Foley hit's Nash with a chair. Foley dives off the ring apron and tries to drop an elbow on Nash , but Nash hold's up the chair. Foley is now bleeding from the eye. I think he's going to need a few more big ones to close that up. Nash throw's Foley back in the ring.
The blood is now covering half of his face. Foley pulls out his own hair and throws it in the air. Outside the ring, Foley slam's Nash's head into the ring steps. Nash is now bleading.
Foley run's at Nash, but the ref get's stuck between them. Foley now has his barbwire bat he got from underneath the ring. Traci "BIG BOOBS" Brooks ran out and distracted Foley. And oh what a distraction. Nash big boots Foley , and he goes flying into Traci and knocked her off the ring. The camera was out of place, so i don't know what move Nash hit Foley with, but it was enough to get the win.
After the match, Nash picked up the barbwire bat and hit Foley with it. Nash waits for Foley to get up and Abyss's music plays. Abyss ran out with a barbwire bat and chased Nash out the ring. Foley give's the thumbs up sign to Abyss.
Winner and New TNA Legends Champion: Kevin Nash Backstage, Sting told Lauren that Matt Morgan is young and will learn from his mistakes just as he did. Sting said Kurt Angle will walk all over people just to take care of himself. Sting said honor, dignity, and respect will come back in style. "And I do mean style," Sting said...
A video package hyping the three-way main event
Match 9:
TNA World Title Match:
Kurt Angle vs. Sting vs. Matt Morgan
Jeremy Borash does the official ring introductions.
Angle and Morgan worked together early on in the match. They whipped Sting into the corner and Morgan hit a shoulder block. Angle went for a shoulder block, but Sting moved and Angle flew outside the ring. They all fought at ringside. Morgan was thrown into the guardrail. West pointed out that Morgan was in front of his wife.
As the match went on, Tenay said A. J. Styles was going to make a major announcement regarding his future in TNA on Thursday's Impact. Morgan and Angle argue at ringside. Morgan shoves Angle. They went at it, at ringside and Morgan hit's the Carbon Footprint.
A little while later, Morgan had Sting pinned, but Hebner was at ringside with the injured. Angle was holding his neck. Morgan call's for Hebner, who responded by saying, "Shut up, I'm with him, okay?" (THAT WAS A FUNNY RESPONSE!) Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop. Hebner ran in and tried to make the count, but Morgan kicked out.
Morgan hits the Carbon Footprint on Sting. Henber tries to make the count, but Angle recovers and pull's Hebner from the ring. A small "You screwed Matt" chant broke out.(THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY AS WELL) Angle brings a chair in the ring and tries to hit Sting, but, Sting moves and Angle hit Morgan. Angle covers Morgan and calls for Hebner, who gets back in the ring and made the 3 count.
Due to recent outside of wrestling problem's Angle has I did not think he would keep the strap, but DAMMIT I was wrong. Anyway.....
Winner and still champ: Kurt Angle
