RDLee Presents All The Info You Need On WWE Smackdown v.s. Raw 2010

We all know that each year THQ puts out a new edition of the highly recognized WWE Smackdown v.s. Raw series and this year is no different. SVR 2010 will be coming out a month earlier than the normal November release this year. October 20th, 2009 is the official release date.

I am going to tell you all I know currently about this much hyped wrestling game.

- Create a storyline is in the game this year along with the return of the Road to Wrestlemania mode and the return of general managers mode! Players will have the option of creating their own original and unique storylines and will be able to insert the characters of their choosing along with the actual verbal text that your characters will say in the situation of your choosing. It should be a fun new innovative mode that will have everyone only blaming themselves in the event of a poor storyline!

- Create a superstar is back with every item having been redesigned in 3-D this year along with several new items such as past WWE legends attire being thrown in the clothing selection. I have already seen images of the LOD's spiked shoulder pads and HBK's classic WM12 tights so it should be better than ever this year to recreate your favorite classic superstars in CAW.

- Customize current WWE superstar attires and have  up to 3 per person. This is not what people are expecting or hoping for, you can only change the colors of the attire the WWE superstars are currently wearing and not change their clothing or anything else. Still, it is a nice addition if your one of the people that care about keeping up with Rey Mysterio's outfit colors each week.

- Royal Rumble online is in. There has not been alot of talk a bout how this will work but is suspected that this year will feature either a 20 or 30 man Royal Rumble online that should feature updated rumble match features as seen in the Legends of Wrestlemania game. I can't wait to see how this turns out, either it will be a blessing in disguise or a complete failure.

- Online WWE Universe community where you can upload, download and rate other peoples created wrestlers, finishing moves and storylines. This is what we have all been waiting for in a wrestling game, long gone are the days where you will have to take the time and create the perfect Demolition or Hulk Hogan, now all you will need to do is log on and pick out which CAW looks the best and simply download him to your roster.

- We are also getting Create an arena, create a logo and the strong rumor is that we will be also getting the long awaited addition of create a titantron!

- Confirmed roster thus far is: John Cena, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Triple H, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Mickie James, Maryse, Christian, Vladimir Kozlov, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Cryme Time and The Miz.

- There are several unannounced superstars that are fully expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. The roster is said to be up to 60 plus characters and possibly more in DLC content down the line. So far Yoshi Tatsu has been confirmed to be a DLC superstar after the game is released in October, although no time table is set for the DLC. Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock have also been confirmed to be given out as pre-order unlock codes at Gamestop and some online retailers.

- The biggest rumor this year is that just like Legends of Wrestlemania allowed you to import the SVR 2009 roster into it's game that possibly you will be able to import Legends of Wrestlemania into the SVR 2010 game! This should make the biggest and best roster ever seen so far in a WWE game we can hope!
