That was all they announced on the show. There were some notable ommisions because not including the downloadable content I counted only 53 playable characters announced today even though they claimed at the beginning of the broadcast that there would be 70 plus superstars in the game including playable legends and unlockables.

They must have simply forgot to show the Great Khali because we know he will be in it. Also some of the free agents like Batista, Mickie James and Shelton Benjamin were not shown but were around most of the year so I fully expect them to be in the game as well. Some of the newer guys like Alberto Del Rio, The Dudebusters and The Uso's probably won't make the cut this year at all since it's probable that the future DLC packs will likely focus on adding the rest of Nexus, Daniel Bryan, and the NXT Season 2 Rookies. Not to mention more WWE Legends, Arenas, and Alternate Attires.

Well, that does it for me. I hope your satisfied with the roster they included this year. Smackdown v.s. Raw is scheduled to be released on all video game consoles on October 26th so be sure to pick it up. Thanks for reading and "Stay Classy!"

-

UPDATE - After I posted this article THQ's official spokesperson "Tank" said on a message board that there are still 14 more Superstars who are not DLC that are yet to be announced and will be in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
