Be sure to check out ClubWWI.com tomorrow for a big uncut shoot with a very special guest.

Who will J.G.'s guest be?

**********

Welcome to WWI's ongoing coverage of Raw, live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Unlike last week, Raw will have this Monday night to itself. Oh well, last week's head-to-head coverage was fun while it lasted.

As you may have heard, tonight's guest host will be legendary boxer, Iron Mike Tyson, the baddest man on the planet, as it were.

Justin Roberts introduced Tyson as soon as the show came on, and he came out and lapped up the cheers. Clips were shown of his 1998 Raw appearance at WrestleMania 14. Before Tyson could say much of anything else, Sheamus came out. He disagreed that Tyson was one of the most iconic sports figures ever. Sheamus contended that he was now the "baddest man on the planet."

Randy Orton came out, probably with a bone to pick, too. Orton had his mind on the WWE Title, and Randy told Tyson that he should make Orton the No. 1 contender.

Another country heard from as John Cena's music hit.  If nothing else, it shut Orton up. Cena was also interested in the WWE Title and was about to ask Tyson for a shot at it when Kofi Kingston headed down the ramp.

Orton diplomatically told Kofi he was not a part of the discussion. Kofi said he was not going to take "no" for an answer.

Sheamus said the others should get a space in the Royal Rumble if they wanted a shot at the title. Cena, Kofi and Orton will meet in a Triple Threat match later at the direction of the guest host.

Later we will find out what's next in the McMahon/Hart saga.

(Commercial break)

(1) Diva Tournament Round: Kelly Kelly vs. Alicia Fox.

The winner of this match will face Gail Kim next week.

Alicia put Kelly Kelly in an extended submission hold, which took up much of the match. Kelly came back with a couple of impressive moves, but Fox won the match anyway.

(Commercial break)

Last week John Cena had been honored at the Fiesta Bowl for his work with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase came down to the ring and it didn't take long for them to start arguing about who looks like a movie star (Cody) or who is a movie star (Teddy).

(2) Legacy vs. Evan Bourne & Mark Henry.

Legacy won this one, even though they were bickering throughout the match. Good high flying by Bourne, nonetheless.

DX were discussing Mike Tyson and HBK's previous encounter with him.

(Commercial break)

HBK and Tyson were talking about Tyson knocking out HBK at WM 14. HBK said he wanted to apologize. Tyson didn't want an apology and said he'd like to do it again. Jericho joined them and said he and Tyson were buddies now and Tyson made a match for DX with Jericho and Tyson later tonight.

Highlights of last week's guest host appearance by Bret Hart aired. Will there be retribution tonight?

(Commercial break)

Jack Swagger was in the ring boasting that he was going to win the Royal Rumble. Blah, blah, blah. If anyone could toss him over the top rope, they were welcome to come out and try. He called it the All American American American challenge.

(3) Specialty Challenge Match: Santino vs. Jack Swagger.

Santino came out and challenged Swagger to his All Italian Italian Italian Challenge and promised to drop him like a bicycle with no kickstand. Santino sent Swagger over the top rope to take the win, to everyone's surprise, especially Swagger's.

(Commercial break)

(4) Triple Threat Match: Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston vs. John Cena.

Kofi and Cena teamed up on Orton as the match began. They tossed Orton out of the ring and came after each other until Sheamus came out and distracted them. While Cena and Kofi were looking elsewhere, Orton "slithered" back into the ring and dropped them both.

(Commercial break)

Sheamus was still watching from the top of the ramp as Orton and Kingston went at it. Cena picked himself up off the floor and got back into the mix. All three began to apply their finishing moves but were continually thrwarted. Trouble in Paradise as Kofi knocked Cena out of the ring. Cody Rhodes came out, shoved Cena into the ring steps, and distracted the referee so that Teddy could help Orton pin Kofi for the win. Orton and Sheamus glared at each other, as Legacy stood by Orton's side in solidarity.

Josh Matthews started to ask DX and Tyson about their upcoming match. Tyson excused himself so that he could scare the bejeezus out of Hornswoggle.

(Commercial break)

The Miz was standing outside the WWE locker room complaining that he got no respect when he had first come to WWE. He said he'd been banished from the locker room by JBL and by a superstar on whom he'd accidentally spilled chicken crumbs. (Coincidence?)

The Miz kept on walking and went through the curtain into the arena where he continued his tirade.  MVP and his past were the subject this time.

MVP came out in a suit and tie and Gucci shoes to counter what The Miz had said. (This segment was awfully quiet as far as crowd noise goes.)

MVP acknowledged that he had, indeed, spent 9 years in the Florida State Prison system and dared The Miz to do something about it. He kicked The Miz in the face with one of those Gucci shoes.  MVP appeared to be developing more of an edge.

(Commercial break)

Footage from 1998 aired of Tyson (who was cahooting with Stone Cold Steve Austin) knocking out HBK.

Surprise -- Tyson has a movie coming out.

(5) Diva Tournament Round: Katie Lee and Eve Torres.

Maryse and her hair extensions joined the announcers, where she took the opportunity to pat herself on the back.

Eve won the match and a chance to meet Maryse in the next round of the tournament.

Carlito was trying to ask Gail Kim for a date when Mister McMahon walked right past and ignored them.

(Commercial break)

Out came Mister McMahon to address the Bret Hart situation. McMahon said Hart was not there tonight because he was intimidated. Twelve years ago Bret had screwed Bret. Last week, McMahon had screwed Bret. McMahon said Bret should understand that he does not play nice. Bret might want closure, but it won't happen, as he will never be seen in a WWE ring again. Hmmm, that sounds mighty final.

Tyson was training with Jericho.

(Commercial break)

(6) DX (Shawn Michaels & Triple H) vs. Chris Jericho & Mike Tyson.

HBK and Tyson started things off, and Tyson had a smirk on his face. When Triple H tagged in he shoved Tyson. I hope Tyson knows wrestling is fake, since he seemed to get a touch pissed off. Jericho tagged in and attempted to put HBK in the Walls of Jericho.

Uh oh. Hornswoggle's music hit. He came out dressed as Evander Holyswoggle. But it was ruse. Jericho turned his back on Tyson, who pulled off his shirt to display a DX tee shirt underneath.  Jericho sensed something was up and turned around in shock just as Tyson punched him in the chops.

The show ended with a DX celebration.  Tyson's teenage son joined them all in the ring for a group crotch chop.  That was a nice moment, as we seldom get to see Tyson the Dad.

Not a bad Raw. Some moments were better than others, but the switcheroo which ended the show was a nice touch, as it played off a long-ago storyline.
