RDLee's WWE Monday Night Raw Results - Vengence Fallout Edition

By RDLee Oct 24, 2011 - 8:31 PM

The show started with an appearance by World Wrestling Insanity founder, James Guttman's favorite actor and wrestler, Triple H. The topic of the Game's promo was Kevin Nash because of his not so shocking attack on him last night at Vengence. Hunter ran down his list of friends who he thought were life long pals including HBK, X-Pac and Nash. He did the hand gesture of the clique and said that Nash came to the ring last night and tried to break his neck but instead broke his heart. Next, he called Kevin out and said he knew he was in the building.

The Raw General Manager, Johnny Ace, came out instead and started running his mouth to Hunter who told him to shut up. Triple H told Ace that while he might be the VP of talent relations but he is still the C.O.O. and he answers to him. Hunter told John that tonight his job is to find Nash tonight and hire him back so he can kick his ass or else he will go to jail when he finds him.

Triple H started to leave but Kevin Nash attacked him from behind with a sledgehammer. Johnny Ace yelled at Nash as security took him away. Referees and medical staff came out to tend to HHH as we saw Nash walk through the backstage area with sledgehammer still in hand.

After a short commercial break we saw Kevin Nash come to the ambulance where Hunter was strapped to a bed about to be loaded in the back and assault him one more time with the sledgehammer.

Randy Orton and Sheamus v.s. Cody Rhodes and Christian

I guess Sheamus is officially using the Great White nickname as Justin Roberts announced him as that. The announcers stated that Cody Rhodes told them earlier that his doctor told him he must wear the mask for the forseeable future. Sheamus hit the Celtic Cross on Rhodes to pick up the win for his team.

Winners: Randy Orton and Sheamus

-

Dolph Ziggler v.s. Santino Marrella

Santino chased him around with the Cobra early on but Ziggler avoided it and gained the momentum. Only one minute later Dolph was able to hit the Zig Zag and win the match. Afterwards, Jack Swagger put Santino in the ankle lock until Mason Ryan came running out to make the save.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Alberto Del Rio came out to do a boring promo that will make me focus on playing my current NBA 2K12 game. After blabbering about how great he was and all that generic crap, CM Punk came out and reminded him that he still owes him a one on one title rematch. Del Rio told Punk that he wasn't worthy, called him a loser and told him to get in the back of the line. Punk responded by saying that he was right, maybe he doesn't deserve a shot but he will still put him to sleep anyway.

Johnny Ace came out and stopped the impending collision from occuring. Ace suggested that Punk and Del Rio will square off at Survivor Series in a championship match but only if Punk tells him that he respects him. Punk responded by saying that respect is earned not given. Finally, after some bickering back and forth, Punk finally manned up and told Ace he respected him in a mocking fashion. John said that he isn't sure if he is worthy of a title shot now. He said he would give it a week before he makes a decision.

Punk then attacked Del Rio and hit the GTS on Ricardo to end the segment.

Natalya v.s. Alicia Fox

Why does Fox have new entrance music when she's barely on television? I thought her old one fit her more with her weird way of walking to the ring. Beth Phoenix was on commentary for this match and talked about her wanting to clean out the divas division. Fox stole the win while Kelly and Eve watched in the back. After the match Beth and Nattie chased after Alicia who got away.

Winner: Alicia Fox

-

John Morrison v.s. Wade Barrett

I missed most of the match because I was tweeting @HEELSnowden about my feelings on the current WWE product and the lame ass Muppets guest hosting Raw next week. I caught the last few minutes of the match and even though Barrett controlled most of the match Morrison almost won at the end with the Starship Pain but Wade moved out of the way and hit the Wasteland to pick up the victory.

Winner: Wade Barrett

Michael Cole stood up and began trash talking Jim Ross again. This is really stupid. He showed some photoshopped pics of JR doing various things such as cheerleading and working out in his underwear. Cole challenged JR to the Michael Cole challenge next week and said if he loses JR can have his seat back at the announce booth and he would quit the WWE.

Handicap match - John Cena v.s. The Miz and R-Truth

This was supposed to be Cena and Zack Ryder teaming but the Awesome Truth attacked Ryder before the match and left him laying in the back. Truth hit Cena with a water bottle and the referee called for the bell.

No Contest

After the match, Miz nailed a Skull Crushing Finale on Cena and Truth followed  up with his finisher. The heels went for a steel chair but Johnny Ace came out and demanded that they stop right now and leave the ring. Ace told Cena that at Survivor Series he can choose the partner of his choosing to face The Awesome Truth in a tag team match. John told us all the obvious, his partner will be the Rock.
