RDLee's WWE Monday Night Raw Results - England Edition

By RDLee Nov 7, 2011 - 8:28 PM

John Cena opened the show. Yawn. He talked about his upcoming tag team match at Surivor Series with the Rock against the Awesome Truth. Speaking of Miz and R-Truth they came out to chat with the wannabe Marine and let him know that he will never embarrass them again. The heels got in the ring to attack Cena until Zack Ryder came out to even the odds and run off the bad guys. Cena and Ryder celebrated in the ring afterwards. Woo Woo Woo You Know It.

-

Dolph Ziggler v.s. John Morrison

If both of these men aren't contending for either the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship regularly this time next year there is a serious problem with this company. Both guys are work horses and pull off entertaining matches against anyone and everyone they are in the ring with. Vickie almost kept Jo Mo from winning the match but Morrison kept his composure long enough to be able to pull off a roll up and win the match.

Winner: John Morrison

-

Mason Ryan v.s. JTG

This is a random match to have on a Raw. Batista junior basically squashed the former Cryme Tyme member. Ryan's finisher shown in the video packages is cool and looks like something a guy his size would use. The crowd was dead for this match even though it was super quick. Baby-Tista won the match with a new finisher, a Full Nelson submission into a slam. This bout should have been taped for Superstars.

Winner: Mason Ryan

-

Alberto Del Rio v.s. Kofi Kingston

WWE Champion taking on Tag Team Champion. Kofi got a good reaction tonight and nearly hit the Trouble in Paradise early on in the match but Del Rio avoided it. Less than a minute later Alberto locked on the Cross Armbreaker and won the match when Kofi tapped out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

-

After the match Del Rio put the hold on again until CM Punk came out to have a discussion with the champ about their upcoming Survivor Series title match. The crowd went wild for Punk as Alberto berated him. Cookie Monster responded by telling him he was rather one dimensional when he cuts his promos. Blah, blah, blah. Pipe bomb. Blah, blah, blah. Del Rio asked him if he would cancel the match at the pay per view. Punk said no and Del Rio attacked him. Punk got the upper hand until Ricardo got involved and ate a GTS as Alberto ran off.

-

Jack Swagger v.s. Santino Marella

Santino came out rocking a new t-shirt that nobody will buy. Swagger was in serious mode tonight and grounded Santino with ease. Jack's eye twitched throughout the match even after he finished the match with the ankle lock.

Winner: Jack Swagger

-

Jerry Lawler did a in-ring interview with Kelly Kelly who showed off her Maxim magazine cover. Some PG show, huh? Beth Phoenix and Natalya came out to ruin this for Kelly but Alicia Fox and Eve Torres came out to run the Divas of Doom away as Kelly revealed the cover and celebrated. Who cares about this crap, really? This segment was a big waste of my time.

-

Johhny Ace introduced his newest signing to WWE, Kevin Nash, who came out to the NWO music looking pretty slick with his colored hair and leather jacket. Nash talked about why he assaulted one of his so-called friends. He said his dislike of Hunter began at the Royal Rumble this year when he returned, got a big reaction and then offered Hunter to get the band back together. When Hunter didn't even respond he felt betrayed and came up with the actions he has been executed in the last month. After he bashed HHH with his own sledgehammer last week, he showed the world that is how you play the game.

-

Backstage we saw Johnny Ace talking to David Otunga. Ace mentioned that Brodus Clay was supposed to debut but he decided not to have his talents wasted in front of Liverpool. Punk walked up on them and attacked David Otunga after a brief back and forth. Del Rio attacked Punk from behind and left him laying in the hallway.

-

John Cena and Zack Ryder v.s. The Awesome Truth

It's about time Long Island Iced Z got his Raw main event match. The crowd loved the Internet Champion and even chanted "We Want Ryder" while Cena was in the ring. Zack held his own against Miz and Truth which bodes well for his future in the company. The end came after Ryder and Cena hit a double five knuckle shuffle. Miz got out of the Attitude Adjustment and pinned Cena. R-Truth held Cena's foot down from outside the ring which allowed a three count and win for the villains.

Winners: The Awesome Truth
