RDLee's Monday Night Raw Real Time Report - How Will Guest Host Rob Zombie Rock The WWE Universe Tonight?

It's currently thunderstorming in my area tonight so if my power goes out, never fear, I will resume the real time as soon as I possibly can. Considering I've lost my power twice already this month I am naturally worried a bit. Just wanted to let you all know what the situation was (no, not THAT "Situation"). Anyways, now that we got that out of the way, it's time to start the show!
We began tonight's show with Jerry Lawler and Micheal Cole talking about the rookie's attack on Vince McMahon last week. They now are being called "The Nexus". The new annonymous general manager said that they will be met with appropriate actions in regard to their assualt last week. We then moved on to the WWE champion Sheamus coming out to the ring to talk about what happened last week. He said he had to make a statement on behalf of the company. He said "The Champ Is Here" to a chorus of boos. He ran down John Cena and said he was no longer the number one contender to his title. Cena came out to confront him much to the delight of the crowd. Cena said he came out to ask him for help. He said that The Nexus is now going to target him since he is the champion. Cena said he knows that Sheamus is tough and loves to fight. He said that they should team up and fight Nexus together right now.
The new general manager beeped in before anything can happen. Michael Cole passed along the message on a podium set up for him. The GM said he would wait until next week to punish the Nexus group. He said that they will give Wade Barrett a chance to present his case to the WWE Universe on behalf of the rookies. Cole also mentioned that if any Nexus member attacked a Raw superstar tonight they would be terminated. If any Raw superstar attacks a Nexus member they will be suspended. Cena then asked for a WWE title match. The GM chimed in and said that Mark Henry will get a shot at the title instead. The GM also hyped the new Money in the Bank ppv coming up and said that the 8 participants in the match will be revealed tonight. He said he would have a demonstration up next as Sheamus left. A steel cage lowered as the GM finished by saying that Sheamus will defend the title against John Cena in a steel cage match at MITB.
So I guess that means Mark Henry won't be winning tonight huh? Way to go WWE...

6 Person Tag Team Match
The Hart Dynasty (WWE Tag Team Champions) v.s. The Uso's and Tamina
This is a rematch of the Fatal Four Way ppv bout these teams had... or so we thought as The Uso's and Tamina attacked the Harts from behind on the ramp before the match could begin. The Uso's threw David Hart and Tyson into the guardrail and steel steps and
Tamina finished off Natalya with a Superfly Splash for the hell of it. This was filler but it helps forward the fued between the teams.
Result: No Contest

Backstage, Josh Matthews interviewed R-Truth about the Nexus group. Truth said to let them act like wild animals because he is the zoo keeper and that is the truth!
-
Vladimir Kozlov v.s. Santino Marella
Another near waste of time as Kozlov destroyed Santino and hit the Iron Curtain for the win in a matter of minutes. After the match William Regal came out and began beating on Santino. Kozlov made the save to the crowds enjoyement and ran Regal off. He carried Santino to the back with a smile on his face. I guess they are now a tag team? This night is a disaster already.
Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

Backstage we had a weird segment where Ranjin Singh turned heel as the translator by answering Josh Matthews questions for Khali in a insulting way. Khali seemed confused by the turn of events when Ranjin stormed off. I guess this means we will see a Ranjin Singh v.s. Great Khali match on a future ppv. Just fantastic... Insert sarcasm here "___________"

Rob Zombie was introduced to the crowd to little reception. He looks like he needs a bath or three. I am not a fan but I know some people think he is cool. I also think he is a longtime WWE fan so that's nice. He said he was hear to see some sick and twisted things. He announced the 8 participants for the MITB ladder match for the Raw brand and they are as follows:
Randy Orton
The Miz
R-Truth
Chris Jericho
Evan Bourne
Ted Dibiase
John Morrison
Edge
Just then Edge appeared on the titantron to tell Rob Zombie that he is glad he dumped his theme song a long time ago. Rob responded by saying that he took it back from him because he destroyed it. Zombie then threw the mic down and left. That was a wasted host if you asked me. Edge then continued on by showing a video package of his history as a MITB winner twice in the past. They showed his first title win over John Cena after his Elimination Chamber bout in 2006. Edge then finished by saying that he had fun when he did that. That's what he meant when he told Randy Orton the fun was about to begin. He owns the MITB match. He said he would run them all down with a ladder and at the end of the night they would all be staring up at him. Just then the GM buzzed in and Michael Cole took his spot. The main event will be Edge, Chris Jericho, The Miz and Ted Dibiase v.s. Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth and Evan Bourne!

WWE Championship Match
Mark Henry v.s. Sheamus (Current Champion)
The crowd really loves Henry who comes out with his rookie Lucky Cannon. Cannon will be "lucky" to not be the first one eliminated in the NXT season 2 competition. Be sure to check out former RAW real timer Mallory Mahling's NXT report tomorrow night to find out where Cannon is on the WWE Universe and WWE Pro's poll. Not much to write about in this match. It was simple and basic with Henry hitting some power moves until Sheamus caught him with a Bicycle kick out of nowhere for the win.
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Sheamus (surprise!)

Backstage Josh Matthews interviewed the Nexus. They said they know they can't attack any RAW superstars but that doesn't mean they can't make an impact. Skip Sheffield beat down a member of the lighting crew instead which scared Josh Matthews since he knew he could have gotten his ass kicked.

Jerry Lawler was in the ring off commercial we had him pimp out the new Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat dvd coming out tomorrow. I will be buying a copy. Steamboat is a legend. The Dragon came out to the ring. Lawler brought out Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, Michael Hayes and Mike Rotundo to celebrate with Ricky. Lawler passed along the mic to Dean Malenko who pimped out the DVD release. Rotundo said when the DVD starts to make some money make sure he pays the taxes. Haha. P.S. Hayes said he didn't interact with him very often but when he heard the rest were coming out to the ring he said he would join them so he could do his Freebird dance. Arn Anderson was last and said that he was thankful for all the matches they had. He finished by saying he was one of the best of all time.
Steamboat took the mic and thanked all the guys in the ring and especially the fans. Suddenly, The Nexus (minus Wade Barrett) came out to the ring and the legends got ready for the impending fight by removing their jackets. The Nexus surrounded the ring and began trying to grab their legs. The legends kicked them out when they tried to get in much to the delight of the crowd. However they managed to pull Arn Anderson out and they beat him down quickly making it 6 on 5. Next they took out Dean Malenko and punished him. Tarver entered the ring from behind and attacked IRS leaving only Hayes, Lawler and Steamboat. They all climbed up on the ring apron and slowly jumped in and began the assault effectively beating down the remaining legends. Steamboat sold like a champ in the ring for the men after trying to fight them all off. David Otunga hit him with his Spinebuster, Skip hit his clothesline from hell and finally Justin Gabriel hit his 450 degree splash for the finish.
Great segment!
We came back from the commercial break and saw the legends recovering from the Nexus groups assualt. Ricky Steamboat was stretchered out as Michael Cole explained why the WWE RAW superstars didn't come out to make the save. We saw a replay of Justin Gabriel's 450 degree splash as we went to another commercial. What the hell?

Maryse and Alicia Fox (WWE Diva's Champion) v.s. Gail Kim and Eve
AGAIN!?!?! I saw this f'n match in Knoxville earlier this year when Don Johnson and Jon Heder were guest hosting. Plus they did this match last week too. My god, is there really no other combos they could think of? I didn't even want to watch it to begin with. I HATE Alica's music and it makes me want to stop doing the real time when I hear it. As usual the women worked hard but nobody cared which is a shame. Fox hit her lame looking Scissor's Kick to pick up the win. There is wayyyyy too much filler tonight.
Winners: Maryse and Alicia Fox

Edge, Chris Jericho, The Miz and Ted Dibiase v.s. Evan Bourne, R-Truth, John Morrison and Randy Orton
Mayse came out and planted a kiss on Teddy's cheek when he came out. I wonder why Virgil never done that? R-Truth came out without doing his routine for once which was refreshing. And why the hell is Orton wrestling without wrist tape now? It's not that big of a deal but it is really random. This was a pretty action packed match with various signature moves displayed by each man. Chaos ensued at the end of the match. Randy Orton hit an RKO out of nowhere in blazing fast time on Ted Dibiase to pick up the win for his team. Immediately aftert the match Edge brought the ladder into play and began laying out the babyfaces. Bourne and Morrison took out Edge, Miz took out Bourne with the Skull Crushing Finale and climbed the ladder only to be tipped off by Orton who set the ladder back up in the center of the ring. He climbed to the top and took the briefcase off the rung and celebrated with the crowd. Could this be symbolic of the future at the MITB ppv?
Winners: Randy Orton, Evan Bourne, R-Truth and John Morrison
